I have actually been considering this myself. Firstly I would like to organise a seminar of local affiliates so that we could discuss our individual successes in SFI and work out doing a joint presentation so that people who have become expert in a particular facet of SFI can share about that area.
For example I would try to find someone who has had real success in signing up affiliates, someone who has had success in signing up ECAs, someone else who successfully generates sales, etc.
From this seminar, a core group could be formed which could then plan the wider public meeting. We would need to consider how and where to advertise, the venue, technical necessities such as PA, overheads etc, the topics to be covered and who would present each one. A panel could be arranged to handle questions, so that no one person has to have all the answers. Then of course we would need to work out how to fairly distribute the new signups between us.
As well as organising seminars to introduce new people to the business, this group could be a support group to help each other and a place where the new affiliates could be nurtured and encouraged.
