A conversation with an individual should be engaging, with a pleasant dialogue between you two without throwing pitches and so forth. Asking an individual about what they do or in that line of dialogue will lead to what you do. Just proudly sharing what you do with enthusiasm from the comfort of your home sells your business. It shows your love for what you do as well as maybe meeting a need for him or her. By doing so, if that person shows interest he will open up to asking more about your business. If so, be assertive as a person that could help him or her, not someone to get a referral. If he or she doesn't seem interested, then that is where you need to go no further.
