There are always trade offs. I have personally recruited about 12 in my downline who are all advancing on schedule and are all three months in doing their daily activity every day. So almost 100 percent retention.
PPC has given me litteral 100s of sign ups an active rate of about 11.57% and a retention rate of about 3% Of course 3% of 400 is 12, verses the 100% 12 which is 12. Which is better??? PPC lets me reach a broad audience, the numbers game.
So I do both and I TRACK like crazy.
I have used a couple of PPC venues and I try to narrow down the best ones.
I track, three digit key codes the first 2 digits tells me the source i.e 54 for Clixsense the third digit tells me the type of advertising, i.e. 554 clixsense PPC ad, 551 Clixsense Clixgrid ad.
I track, PPC (4), Email (3), Banner (2), Txt ad (5), logon ad (6), Post it ad (7) and so forth.
Also what you advertise is important. I advertise Triple Click and TC Gift Cards via email to my list and safelists and get a lot of response. I advertise the same thing, same exact ad in Text or PPC and i only get a little response.
I also track 4 other classifications 1. obviously, sign-ups, 2 Active, 3 Fast Trackers, and four 3 months in. What venue is the best changes sometimes with time.
Good luck and keep at it. It can seem complicated but the best ones rise to the top.
