Thats a very good question and holds an important spot in the way to success in SFI !!!
1) First of all, when you get a new affiliate in your downline, contact him/her right away. Try to message them in chat if you both are online at the same time.
2) Most of the new affiliates find SFI very complicated in the beginning of their days. So, your welcome message should itself be motivating and it should clear the basic ideas for them. You should simply ask them to do the basic things required on the 1st-2nd day, like joining Tripleclicks, becoming A2A member and Fast Tracker. Let them feel comfortable.
3) When they become fast tracker, congratulate them and guide them further in collecting the getting started points and immediate action points. Also tell them by now how important it is to login daily and collect daily points.
4) If they are going good, they'd become an EA in the first week. Congratulate them again and gift them Tcredits or reassignments if possible.
Then Teach them step by step your way of succcess.
Most importantly,
(I) When they feel confused, clear their queries as soon as possible .
(II) Stay in touch with them through e-mails and other means.
(III) Encourage them as much as Possible.
