How much information do you send your CSA's, or do you let their sponsor take care of them so they are not overwhelmed?

I have been with SFI for several years. My Sponsor never did really communicate with me. I was EA status for a while but money got tight so I quit. (I lost all my affiliates because I quit.)
I got a notification that I had a new Sponsor, (I had been moved under another Team Leader in my Sponsor's downline). I logged in again and set up a Standing Order. Several months had passed, and I was assigned to a Co-Sponsor. I was about to quit again but got a message from my Co-Sponsor that got my attention. Basically it was, "don't quit, keep on." I have had most of my encouragement and communication with my Co-Sponsor, and if it weren't for his notes to me, I would have quit and would be out of business. I am BTL right now, and that is directly because of the information that was sent to me via my Co-Sponsor.
My answer to this question is, YES--Send your CSAs as much information as you send your PSAs! It made a big difference in my attitude, and now I log in every day to work on my SFI business.

How much is too much when contacting your team or downline?

Hi, I think it is very important to keep in contact with your downline. But, you should only send team mail or email when you have something helpful to encourage everyone. If someone was emailing me every day with the same information or with something that is not relevant, I would be quite irritated. So, be sure the information you are sending is relevant and helpful.
We have the ability to send email to groups of downline members and even the entire downline, and we are able to get 30 VP per week for sending one. Unless someone in your downline is asking many questions, I don't feel that sending more than once a week would be necessary. Once a week will remind the affiliates that SFI is still out there without overwhelming them with too much information.
Another "too much" is sending too much information at once. Sending an overwhelming amount of information will just irritate or bore them. They will not understand what is being said, and will likely ignore your emails in the future. So when you are sending information, be sure it is concise and short. Don't send too much at once.

Of all of SFI's Power Tools, which ones works best for you and why?

I use the Genealogy tool all the time. It helps me to see who has joined recently, who is earning VP, who earned last month but none this month, and many other scenarios. But using this tool, I can target emails to the affiliates that need certain thing. For example, if a group of affiliates were gaining VP last month but haven't logged in this month, I can send them an encouraging email/TeamMail message to remind them to log in daily and get the VP points that are needed. It is much easier than looking through lists of users trying to pick out those you want to send an email to! That is the best tool I have used.

How many hours a week do I need to devote to SFI to become successful?

This really depends upon you. How many hours a week/day do you have available? Do you want to have a full time venture or just a part time?
I have heard some say that to be successful, you need to spend 3 hours a day on the business. I agree, that could be a great amount of time. I personally don't have 3 hours a day available. I spend more hours on the weekends working on the business, but I only have about an hour per day during the week.
I suppose it also depends upon your definition of successful. You can decide an amount (1 hour per day) to devote to SFI, and in a month, evaluate and decide if you are being successful. If not, raise the time you are spending.
In all cases, the hours spent devoting to SFI need be meaningful hours. Reading the tutorials, promoting your business, doing your daily To-Do list, etc. If the hours spent are not meaningful, it won't matter how many hours you spend, there will be no success!

What's best? Sponsoring fewer PSAs and concentrating on coaching and helping them build...or continuously sponsoring new affiliates?

My opinion may vary from others, but having PSA's that are building their own downline (duplication) is a great way to go. I have went the route of sponsoring new affiliates and most of them are not active and I get discouraged.
Once you have an active affiliate, then concentrate on coaching and helping them build. Working with an active affiliate is the most motivating thing I've ever felt!
This said, I am not saying STOP sponsoring new affiliates, but keep the advertising up, or the S-Builder Co-op, if that's what you are using!
So I guess the answer is Sponsor new affiliates until you get an active PSA and then concentrate on helping them succeed. Always have some way of bringing in some new affiliates monthly, but concentrate on your movers!

What's the best TripleClicks product to have for a Standing Order for a financially challenged affiliate?

In my opinion, starting off, getting the IAHBE subscription for $29.99 is the best Standing Order to have. It gives you the 1500 VP for the least amount of money.
There are strategies that can get you to 1500 vp with a $20 investment each month, but they take a lot of work.
Another option is the 100pack Tcredits for $29.00 but that's only 1200 VP and you will need to be sure and get enough action VP to make up the extra 300 VP. It can be done but you must log in every day to get your daily/weekly and monthly VP's.

Which is best, free or paid advertising?

I think this answer depends upon you.
For me, I have very little time to spend working on the business as I'm working or driving most of my day. I spend money on advertising because I do not have the time to work with Free Advertising.
If I had the time, I would put my time into the free advertising. That would give me a higher profit, if I were not spending money on the advertising. It would help me feel like I'm working on the business and would give a sense of accomplishments.
My answer is, if you can spare the time to do the free advertising, do that! If you don't, hopefully you can afford the paid advertising!

What are the best ways to sell TCredits and where is the best place to advertise them?

I think the best way to sell TCredits would be to advertise the great deals one can get when bidding in PriceBenders. It is very exciting to see how inexpensive items can be purchased and TCredits are needed to bid on them.
If you are wanting to advertise for free, advertise in locations where Auction's are, because typically people at those sites are interested in Auctions like PriceBenders. If you can, post on your facebook about it, and friends and family could join in as well!
How do I get my downline to focus on duplication? How do I explain the importance of duplication to them?

Getting your downline to focus on duplication is one of the rules of success. As you are explaining to your downline about how to be successful, expressing the importance of duplication is part of your pitch.
Duplication will help them earn more money. As soon as they have several EA2's in their downline, they will be getting extra action points for supporting them and it will be easy to become BTL and higher. Once reaching Team Leader status, their income will go up because they receive compensation for their downline's VP as well as their own. As the duplication continues, with their downline, it continues to grow.
Since duplication is one of the rules of success, it should be easy to convince your downline the importance of the process! They should be excited and be working on their own downline.
I have recently started seeing success with some of my own downline and it has fired me up and gotten me more involved with SFI! It will happen with your downline as well! Good Luck!

What are the signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one?

For me, the biggest sign that an affiliate is going to be a good one is asking questions about the business. I have many affiliates that are not good ones (they do not log on often, do not participate in the business), but I have noticed the ones that email me questions and ask about how to do thing with SFI are the best affiliates to have. I have had many affiliates work and get their 1500 points (the easy ones) for the first month, but unless they are really interested in getting this to work, they haven't kept working at it.
