I am glad you are interested to recruit people face to face, this means lots of self confidence, knowledge about the business, some experience not only regarding the SFI but also working with people.
Every person has it's own goals and interests, so at firs you must start a relaxing conversation and bring the the possible client to gain some confidence in you. This means you need to know how to speak with every one, with simple people you need to communicate in a simple way and with complicated people you have to communicate a little bit more elevated.
You don't have to be a psychologist but to find some information about the person you are talking with in very few questions.
At the beginning of the meeting it is your time to talk and ask questions, but don't speak too much to confuse the person. You need to know how to point what is important and the advantages of SFI and at the same time what could interest mostly the possible client.
Working ' on the field' as we use to say , is hard many many will refuse you or wouldn't even want to hear what you have to say, but every refuse from them will strengthen you , don't ever let yourself down.
You also have to take a look in the mirror before you go to the meeting, you should be propely dressed, business clothes, you should be clean and pleasant, you should talk with yourself in the mirror , encourage yourself, smile all the time, have " the attitude" , people should see in you the success, no arrogance . You should be competent from all points of view.
So I think a person who just entered for a month in SFI and became EA is not yet ready to go and recruit people on the field, I think you need at least 3 months of work in front of your computer , of reading, learning and informing.
Yes, a beginner could recruit family and close friends, as we call it the warm market, but for other people you don't know well, work mates, friends of friends and strangers ( the cold market), you have to be professional.
So get THE ATTITUDE, your knowledge, the self confidence and get out there!
