First of all, you should know who you are dealing with before you start "showering" them with cash and perks.
Cash and other perks (including TCredits) are something that should be earned, not given out before you even start to work.
I, myself, would feel like someone is trying to buy me with presents, to stay in their team. For persons with a shred of integrity, it would be, to say the least, offensive.
On the other hand, if you know people (some of your friends, acquaintances, colleagues from other work), you can try this technique as a good boost to show them that you seriously count on them, if you are ready to "invest" in their future together. But there is also a slight chance to scare them off by showing them how much of your assets you are willing to share with them. There is an old saying: "Never mix business with friendship". And it has proven itself to be 100% true.
In conclusion, if you decide to use these perks, you should be careful who you will give them to, because as they can be fruitful with some people, they can have just the opposite effect with the others.
