I would have to say that in order to build a successful business with or without S-builder, takes determination and willingness to succeed. S- builder can help grow your business substantially, if you put in the effort required to duplicate.

Duplication is the game.

If you get a new PSA you will want to be able to show him/her how to post their own ads, make their own sales, setup their own blog, whatever it takes for them to succeed. If they succeed, you succeed.

To do this, I personally recommend doing as much as you can to promote your business, in the interim between S-builder Signups. Learn as much as you can, so when the next one comes rolling in, you are in a better position to give sound advice. Hey, you will probably find its not that hard to get your own signups anyway!

I suggest doing the following:

-Read "how to be an awesome sponsor"
-Login everyday
-Promote your business everyday, (Do some of the things you would want your PSA's to do)
-Add "moving" affiliates to your S-builder co-op, teach them how to be an awesome sponsor.

I have read a number of the answers submitted to your question, and two of the MAIN points/advantages for both local and global advertising I find have not been published.

1 - PROMOTING GLOBALLY - You earn money while you are SLEEPING! This is great for your business as you will find out IF you have promoted globally and have people around the globe working for you. Due to time Zone differences in different countries, while you are sleeping, others are waking up, this is powerful!

2 - PROMOTING LOCALLY - You can actually converse properly with your referrals, set-up meetings, build closer relationships and relate on a much more personal level, which will inevitably help your business grow 10x faster.

From my experience Promoting locally has given me more action takers, people who are really HUNGRY to succeed. Although the quality is not as good globally, and it takes a little longer to succeed, I know from what I have learnt in my days in SFI, that you really only need a handful of movers, once you have that, your business will pretty much be on autopilot!

Here are some things I would make sure to check off MY To-Do List before I embark on a vacation with Limited Internet access.

1 - Try find out what time(s) during your vacation you would be free to checkup on your business.

2 - Let your team know that you are enjoying some of the spoils of working at SFI by going on vacation :D. AND that you will only be available at certain times (state Times) if any.

3 - Leave your team with an alternative method of contact before you leave, one that you WILL be available on, should they need you.

4 - Turn your business to "Vacation" mode, this will ensure you dont lose any of your badges in-case you cannot login for any unforeseen reason

5 - Pack your bags, and get ready to enjoy some vacation bliss...

PS* - DON'T FORGET: SFI X cards, Gift Cards and any other promotional material you plan on leaving with the locals.

This is a very good question, and I assume, when you say that you "cant access" SFI it is because of Internet connectivity issues, or not being able to use the internet at all. In all the time I have spent with SFI, If I could access the Internet I could access SFI too. Just my experience though.

There are many ways to grow your SFI business that does not require an Internet connection however. I am basically still pretty new to Internet Marketing, but I know quite a bit about Face to Face marketing, Hard selling, and recruiting from experience, so my advice to you, would be to do the following:

1) Work on your warm market - Speak to friends and family (colleagues too if possible) about SFI, people who are not already signed up, and warm them up to the idea of creating an additional income stream.

2) Hold presentations or "parties" at your home where you invite friends over specifically to introduce them to SFI, provide light snacks and some juice, maybe even a glass of wine, mention in your invites that you have something you would really like to get some advice on - works every time!

3) Hand out/post flyers, SFI X-cards, Gift cards and more. Just check out "marketing methods" and you will find tons of ways to promote that dont require you to be on the net.

4) Call businesses in your area that you think would benefit from the ECA programme, and If they are interested in joining, drop off one of the pamphlets SFI provides.

5) Get an SFI t-shirt and cap and other promotional material needed to do your own flyer drops at robots, hotels, wherever! Be creative...

The list really is endless.

NB* You will want to prepare beforehand if you are expecting to have troubles connecting, as most of the stuff you can use is obtainable directly from your back office.
