How can I ensure that, when I retire, the SFI business I have spent years building continues to grow and provide income for my beneficiaries?

To be honest the same things you should be doing every day already. Completing your daily to do lists to the max whenever possible and continuing to sponsor and hold your team ranking.
Of course on top of that would be to train others and give them a blueprint to follow one you have found to be successful in getting your downline active and understanding how SFI program works. By passing this information on your giving your downline the power to push your own business to the next level and to continue its growth.
However...
With any business it could come crashing down at any given time. So the old rule putting all your eggs in one basket such as counting on SFI to retire on should not be your goal. If something where to ever happen and you where relying on your SFI income it would put you in a hard place. Consider adding your income from SFI into other investments, stocks, bonds, cds and so forth never count on just one site or business to be your requirement. (it's not like the old days where you could work for a company all your life and retire and live happily ever after anymore)

Which is the best SFI Gateway to use...and why?

This all depends on the target market you are advertising to also called demographics. Most sites you can look this information up on and get a sense as to who the majority of your audience is going to be such as age, education level, where they live and more.
By pooling this information you can take a good guess as to what one of SFI many ads you should use. Of course you should always track your traffic and conversions so you can see what your results are. Small changes and tweaks to your ads can have a drastic impact on your ads both good and bad. Continue to adjust your ads based on your results and soon you will have one butt kicking campaign to promote your SFI affiliate links.

When you initiate an online chat with a new PSA, what should you discuss?

To be honest most people coming into SFI are going to be totally overwhelmed and not have a clue where to get started. It's a good idea to stick with them and answer their questions as quickly as possible and to give them a way to contact you such as skype, email or another service.
With that being said a few important notes I always tell my PSA's is to complete 500 PV on their to do list within 24 hours. By doing so they get 200 bonus PV which is a huge asset when trying to reach the next level in SFI for their first month. The sooner they get there the more bells and whistles they will see which really starts to spark their interests.
Just be there for them and answer them as quickly as you can, nothing beats motivation from your upline and having a quick way to contact someone with questions.

Should I promote participation in Pricebenders to my team? If so, for what reason(s)?

There are a number of reasons to promote Price bender auctions to your SFI team.
Not only are Tcredits a great way to get your team involved and participating in the site more but often times they really can get amazing deals on products.
They will also be earning MRP (Member reward points) Which they can redeem for great items including silver, gold, ipads and more!
They also get access to the PSA spin where they can win PSAs and also CSAs just for being active and bidding in price benders.
Even if they don't win the price bender auction they are still winning by MRP and Spinning for PSAs!

To many factors to say, who knows who your next power PSA promoter might be and totally blow up your downline!
The best rule is honestly give it your all every day and feel accomplished yourself at the end of it that you helped others out.
Helping others reach their goals is very rewarding and you will quickly see that focusing on others goals and helping them achieve theirs quickly turns into reaching your own goals and surpassing them.
