Promoting your gateways, promoting TripleClicks, and supporting you affiliates are just a few of the tasks that you can do on a daily basis to build you SFI business, but these are a given.
Truly, one must build their knowledge of business in general, as well as, affiliate marketing. Spend time each day reviewing the launchpad lessons and then read material, not provided by SFI, to gain further insight into this specific business. There are many forums that have a wealth of information; one of which is the warrior forum.
In short, increase your knowledge base daily. This simple task will provide a higher ROI, because knowledge is something that can never be lost.

It boils down to this: you should use your MRP as you see fit.
You will receive suggestions to buy TCredits, products, etc. First you must decide what it is you hope to gain from the accumulation of your MRP. Do you want to be able to buy products to resell? Do you want to buy products for yourself or family? Do you want or need to promote SFI/TripleClicks more to increase your business profits?
These are the important questions that you must answer before making the decision of where to spend your MRP. Personally, I have made a list of items that I would like to acquire with my MRP. I have prioritized them according to my current needs; business and personal. This allows me to set some goals that are outside of my SFI business goals.
Hope this helps and best of luck with your decision.

What are the best ways by which one can measure his/her success in SFI?

The simple answer is to observe the amount of business growth sustained over a period of time. (e.g. week, month, year) With that, one can observe this data in multiple ways. Traditional businesses would track products sold, revenue earned, etc. In SFI, one has many options of data to track. We can track our daily, weekly, monthly, and overall VersaPoints earned, commissions earned, PSAs/CSAs acquired, and rank attained; just to name a few.
In short, everyone has their own method of measuring success. The best way for me to measure my success is probably going to be different from your best way to measure your success. So, measure your success however you see necessary and keep an open and positive mindset to the promotion and building of your business.
