Most people when looking for work at home opportunities are looking for low start up cost, a business that has been around for awhile and has a good rating with the better business bureau.
SFI is free with many benefits including free training and free support. SFI has been around for 16 years and growing and is a member of the better business bureau. Offering lots of great products worldwide so one is not limited to one type of product such as vaccuums or life insurance also not limited to one specific area such as their state or country.
With all the stats on new members, long time members, ECA, and products available growing from just one product 16 years ago SFI does not look like it is going to just vanish and leave people without income.
SFI is definitely a great place to work, grow and have fun along the way.

What are the best ways to use the WAVE3 X-Cards?

XCards are a great way to promote your Tripleclicks store. They can be left anywhere and everywhere. You can even go for a walk and leave them on windshields. Hang some up on bulletin boards at grocery stores. Leave them at the library on tables or in books. Put them in all outgoing mail. The possiblities are endless just use your imagination and be creative. The more creative the better the chances someone will pick it up and go to your store.
Thousands of SFI affiliates are doing the same thing. How do you stand out from the crowd?

Get involved. So many people just do the minimum that is required. I like to get more involved. Answer questions, offer suggestions and take notes and if I do not know the answer to a question I find the answer.
If I have a PSA or CSA that is having a hard time getting started I find out why. Maybe they do not have time to dedicate to SFI or maybe they are just having a hard time understanding material. I recently had one of my CSAs tell me they were having a hard time because they do not speak English very well. I let them know about the translator and how to translate material that is sent to them so they are able to understand more clearly. I also like to translate my emails to my PSAs and CSAs if I know they do not read or speak the English language this makes it easier for them to succeed.

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

If your PSAs are trickling in I would just send individual welcome letters. However, if you have a lot of new PSAs then group mailings would work better. I also keep on eye on my PSAs to watch their progress. This way I can see who is putting in a good effort in growing their business and which ones are not. The ones that are going slowly I send them an individual welcome letter after about a week and ask if they have any questions. Those that are doing an excellent job I also send them an encouragement email letting them know they are doing a great job and see if they have any questions.

How do I assure that duplication happens in those I sponsor?

You can not guarantee that duplication happens in those you sponsor. However, there are steps you can take to help your CSAs and PSAs and hopefully they will be to duplicate.
First get involved. Contact PSAs and CSAs regularly. Do not become the invisible sponsor or co-sponsor. Gain badges and VP of your own. This shows your CSAs and PSAs that you are serious about what you do. Lead by example. The more badges you receive and VP you gain the more they want to be like you. One of the first things I did when I started was look up my sponsor and co-sponsor and make a list of their badges. I then started working on gaining some the same badges. Why not, after all they've been with SFI for many years and so it seems they must be doing something right. So I copied some of what they were doing.
So you can not guarantee that your downline will duplicate but you can make it easier for them by showing off your achievements...enter pricebender auctions and win, rack up those VP, gain badges, enter the daily grand and win. Eventually they will want to win or see how many VP or badges they can gain. Make it a contest between your CSAs and PSAs to see who can gain the most VP or badges in a month. You might be surprised when you start a contest. Those who were not active might become very active. I suggest making things fun. Since people do not like to do things that are boring.

If you could completely start over with SFI today, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

What I would do differently knowing what I know now is I would have started on day one with reading the internet income lessons. Since there are 90 lessons, I would have read at least one a day and taken notes to better prepare myself. There is a lot of valuable information in those lessons. Had I started reading them when i first started I would of had an easier time setting things up such as my blog, website, RSS feeds and so forth. I have only been with SFI for a few months but I feel like I'm trying to play catch up since I started reading those lessons around the middle of my second month.
