What long-term goal(s) should an affiliate be setting for themselves?

I look at long-term goals as yearly goals. What are your goals at the end of each year or particular number of years. When you are able to know where you want to be after a few years then you will be able to set your long term goals.
SFI gives you an easy way to set your long term goals. What you want to be doing in the next 3-5 years and so on. How much you want to be earning per month after 2 years. If you want to own your own car and house and maybe start your own dream business. What your position will be by then. I personally will want to achieve the level of a platinum leader in my first year in SFI. Also I want to get at least 100 PSAs. Those are some of my long term goals that i need to work to achieve. You have to set something that challenges you.

Where can I get good content for my SFI blog without infringing on copyrighted material?

You can get good content for your SFI blog just by reading articles on SFI website. SFI has a wealth of information that you are unlikely to run out of. SFI alerts tab has news and other information you can relay on to others. You also have the tips, marketing, SFI basics and launchpad lessons.
Indeed all you need concerning SFI is there in the website. There is new content everyday. So there is no worry about you running out of things to blog about. All you have to do is just read and grow your knowledge. then you can share it.

How do you convince someone that they can earn a substantial income with SFI?

Good question. The only way you can convince someone that they can earn a substantial income in SFI is to show them proof of your own income.
They say actions speak louder than words. So if they see your record, they they will have no reason not to be convinced to join SFI. You can also give them some detail on what they nees to do to earn substantial income with SFI. Things like the to-do list, SFI and TripleClicks referrals, generating sales and also maintaining a minimum level of EA to get your commissions. Just be honest and tell the person some of the things you normally do to maximize your income with SFI and the person is more likely to be convinced.

Which is most effective for advertising SFI...a regular hosted website or a blog about SFI?

I think at first glance the answer will be the regular hosted websites because they will definitely have more members and visitors. So you have more prospective customers there and the turnover will likely be high.
On a second thought the blog is also a potentially profitable means to advertising. The difference is that in your blog everything is about what you post. But in a regular hosted site there are many people advertising about related topics also. So the turnover here is more likely to be shared. So depending on how popular your blog is, you can profit more from it.
Also some regular sites hav rules about the frequency of advertising and the content of the ads being placed. In your blog however, you can post as often as you want . Thus there are fewer rules.
My advice is that, for a new blogger, the odds usually go to the regular hosted sites. But for a more popular blogger, your blog is the way to go.

You can try notifying them by sending it to them through their email addresses. Gift cards are powerful tools in advertising. Your prospective PRMs can redeem it on TCredits which can be used to play Eager Zebra games. You will have to advise them on that too. If your PRMs know the value of TCredits then they will definitely want to get some. Then they can play the games.
They might end up appreciating the effort you have made by offering them gift cards. $12 gift card can buy up to 20 TCredits if I am right. That gives them 20 chances at the Eager Zebra games where they can win more TCredits. Awesome.

Our new PSAs are like newborns who have little or no knowledge of marketing. So the first recommendationof marketing methods will be marketing to family and friends because that will give the the confidence they need to go out. Speaking with families and friends helps boost their confidence alot.
They can also send emails and post on their web pages and social networking sites too.
This will give them a good foundation before they start to venture into other more advanced marketing methods.

What would be a good way to hold offline classes or seminars to train my PSAs about SFI and TripleClicks?

Assuming your PSAs are in a location close to you, then it is possible to hold classes or seminars on SFI and TripleClicks to train them. Not the case for all of them though as some of them may be in another country or continent! So for those in, say, the same town or state, you can share out fliers concerning your seminars, send emails and also post on blogs and social networking sites. Do not expect crowds of people. You can consult with your organisation concerning the venue and audience, or you can use your house if it is big enough to save costs on renting seminar rooms.
