I have experience with in-person presentations, direct mail, trade shows, handing out biz cards, network at events, etc. Can offline marketing be as effective for my SFI business as online marketing?

I think your offline marketing may even be better than your online marketing!
I would love to have experience with talking to others in presentations and talking face to face as you will get to first hand explain to people what the business is and gauge a response from them about whether they are actually interested - and this will lead to quality referrals.
A large problem with online marketing is people see it as a 'join this site and have instant money' website. When they realize it isn't they leave it and continue the search for a non existent get rich quick scheme.
There are some great business cards that you can buy from TripleClicks - either for promoting to TC or SFI and these can be passed out to those who seem interested and will instantly be added to your team upon sign up

How often should I communicate with my Sponsor and Co-Sponsor?

It is entirely your own choice - some sponsors and co-sponsors will start the conversations with you, but if they don't then the real answer to how often to contact them is whenever you want help!
If you have a friendly relationship with either then you can also contact them just for a chat as you would do with any friend
Among the popular Standing Order items (IAHBE, S-Builder, TCredits), which is best and why?

If you could only pick one I would recommend T-Credits
The reason for this is that you can easily pick up the 1500vp SO with a t-credit order, and then you can turn these credits into bids.
Each bid will grant 1 versapoint, and when you stack up MRP you can also buy single t-credits with these and gain even more points.
If you pick your auctions carefully as well you can either win IAHBE membership, or win PSA's - if you win PSA's you will likely get more than if you just had a single unit of S-Builder.
Best of luck

Should I buy PSAs or learn how to sponsor them myself?

This answer is all based on your experience. I think that buying them with little experience is a great thing to do as it means you can start to build up your business and then use the success from buying PSAs as proof when talking to people yourself trying to convince them to join in.
Even when you are good at referring members, I still think it doesn't hurt to have more coming into your team from buys if your cash flow allows for it
Best of luck
