When an affiliate first joins SFI they may already be a little overwhelmed, so it's best not to load them up with too much information! Keep your welcome message simple, no more than 3 paragraphs!!
SFI is set up in a way that makes it relatively easy for affiliates to navigate the system and find out things on their own, so the most important thing to state in your welcome letter is that you are available to your affiliates if they need help.
Here what I send:
My name is __________ and I'd like to welcome you to SFI. I'm here to assist you and support you in building your SFI business, so if you have any questions let me know I'll try my best to answer them.
First thing you'll want to do look at your To-Do List, where you can earn all important VersaPoints (VP) which can help you get on the Fast Track and achieve Executive Affiliate rank in your first month.
Be sure to log in at the SFI Affiliate Centre as soon as you can, and if I can answer any questions or assist you in any way, just let me know.

Of course it is desirable to have personal contact with each affiliate, but this is not always possible, especially if you have 20 or more affiliates join at the same time!
It's okay for your first contact to be a group mail as you can use the ~FIRSTNAME~ command to personalise it.
After the initial contact, if you see affiliates who are performing well then use the chat platform to speak to them in real time or email them personally with your wise words, offers of assistance and encouragement.
