You must be aggressive in such a way that you are visiting your page every day because for each day you are updated of your position in your class on your scoreboard area depending on the VP you have made that day then you are updated of how many more points you need to be at the top and you employ some tactics to fly high.
Two, you need to at least be having a standing order which brings in 1500 VP per month in order to maintain your position in any given month that is EA or Team leader not to be eliminated at any one point that is if you bounced back in the championship thru' the second chance or grand father clause.
All in all i think it requires to accumulate as much VP as possible to always be at the top of your class.Hope I have answered you right.

Is it wise to 'bribe' your downline with Gift Certificates, TCredits or other incentives? Or does this practice come back and bite you?

I think it is not wise,even the word used ''bribing'' is not right rather the in thing is to make your down line understand that the harder they work the more the benefits to themselves in SFI.
Though Gift certificates, Tcredits and other incentivs may come in at a later stage that is if the downline has achieved EA status,BTL and others as a congratulatory piece.
Otherwise it might reach a point when you yourself don't have what to give them,and that would mean them also not working and the whole team will get stuck.
