Who is the better demographic to target in my ads? Retired persons...or homemakers?

Great question. It might be tempting to think that retired people would make better candidates for SFI than homemakers because they have more time on their hands. Some retired people have sufficient income and assets to retire on and some don't. This is not an easy question to answer without doing extensive research to know and understand what the real needs of retired people are.
On the other hand, homemakers are perceived as homebodies and can thus find time outside of their homemaking chores and reponsibilities to devote some time to a side home-based business. But it varies from home to home and depends on how much work they do and if they can spare some time to do business.
Since there is not a clear view of who would make a better demographic, I would say it is better to target both demographics because you never know where you will find your next Ace. And since this is a numbers game, it is better to reach out to as many prospects as your advertisements can go. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to hear about SFI and the store TripleClicks.

Why is it important to have a good SFI account photo? And what makes a good photo?

Initially, when you start with SFI, might be a good idea to come in the door with a photo so that you can introduce yourself to the organization you will be working with. This is a good way to make friends and business relationships.
As Sponsors and team leaders, the need to uphold a professional image can not be overstated. In addition to communicating with words, we also communicate with our photos—this makes our dialogue more friendly, and personal.
They say one never gets a second chance to make a first good impression.
I want to say that a good photo would be where your face can be seen clearly, with simple background scenery, and without images of other people or animals. A smile adds a touch of professionalism and shows you are enthusiastic about yourself and your work.
Hope this helps

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

When a new PSA arrives, it's best to extend a personal welcome with a greeting letter or welcoming E-card to introduce yourself, and let them know they have arrived at a good place of business, and that you are there to offer your free services as their sponsor to assist them with any needs they may have.
Also, it is good to follow up with a few more contacts during the first week to share more details about the SFI program and to guide them around the Affiliate Center so they do not get lost or confused. You take them by the hand the first week, or weeks, till they build enough confidence to start walking through the program on their own.
Then continue to send out your weekly News Letters in the group mailings to provide new and fresh content about the program and to share more tips and ideas with your new PSAs and your existing downline.
Personal welcoming letters are more specific and person to person communication, and group mailings are more general and addresses a wider audience.

I've been in SFI for one year now with no success. What should I do now?

Greetings,
For starters, do not quit. This is a very important question to be asking ourselves and then to others to get some feed-back from affiliates' experiences.
I have to tip my hat to you for getting through your first year--congratulations! You succeeded in getting this far. You have gained valuable knowledge and experience for free-no college degree needed. This would be a time of reflection and assess what you have done so far. We must keep in mind that SFI is a long-term business career and that time is needed to develop a sound business plan of action.
What kind of realistic plan did you implement in your first year, what was working, and what wasn't. Which marketing programs did you do and which one would you like to do but haven't been able to do yet. Do an inventory of your business activities and decide what you will do differently in your second year.
I've been with SFI 8 months now and am still learning, tweaking, applying, and getting a better bird's eye view of what direction my business is heading in and to me, it's a daily learning experience. Perseverance is key. That means we keep going even when things don't look promising.
Read Launch Pad quiz #11 "Overnight Success...Not! and Rules of Success #11 "Have a plan (a realistic plan)" for more tips on how success comes with time and hard work. I hope you'll continue another year and stay in touch with your upline if they're active and keep leaning and trying new ways to move your business ahead. Take care, and all my best

Is SFI good for students (18 or older)? Why or why not?

SFI is Great for Students:
This kind of business would be great for students who are majoring in business, advertising, and economics to provide hands on training and a way for them to be aquianted with the business world. But likewise, SFI would also benefit students of any other major who enjoy working online and who are searching for a way to earn.
However, SFI is a longterm commitment to realize any success, and the student would need to be advised by their sponsor of this, and would need to be trained and guided on the best pathway possible so that the student can also have enough time to devote to their classes and homework.
Also, due to the slump in our economy, finding work is very challenging. If work cannot be found then you need to create a job, and SFI would be a great way to hire yourself and learn which income streams would best fit into your college career and class schedule.
So all in all, SFI is always a win, win scenario for anybody wanting to develop an alterative income as long as the student can work it into their daily life but also to keep up with their school commitments.

What should new affiliates NOT do in their first month?

When I first joined SFI, I was somewhat overwhelmed by the many tabs, links and tremendous information available in the Affiliate Center. But I kept remembering what Gery said in the start video: do not make SFI harder then it is; start in SFI Basics and go from there.
New Affiliates should not make the SFI system harder than it really is. There is always a starting point in any new venture, whether it's learning how to write, compose a business blog, or learning a new language. We should always start at square one and try to understand the first steps before moving on to more advanced material.
New comers should not breeze through all valuable VersaPoints materials and not really grasp the principals of each action for the sole purpose of accumulating points but fail to get the gist of what SFI is trying to teach you.
Finally, fresh affiliates should not give up right away in there first attempt, even though this happens a lot and it's hard to show them the entire scope of the SFI opportunity with a few email samples. That's why we need to refine our welcome letters and make the best presentation possible to show how unique SFI really is. Hope this helps

How do I get my team to understand the potential of SFI and TripleClicks?

Greetings,
I believe it starts with being a good sponsor who is up to speed in his/her training. You need to believe it yourself that there is potential with SFI & TC before you can begin showing your team affiliates that this is a real time business and not just another fly by nighter.
You have to develop a vision that is comprehensive and where you can see the ups and downs of this business and how to improvise when you don't have what you need at the moment.
Since there is more responsibility in being a team leader, it is essential to know many facts about your work, familiarity with marketing/advertising, and the ability to keep going even when your business doesn't seem get any higher than your own ceiling.
Show your team affiliates that there are other ways to earn along side the main high way that we're on when building your down line team. Also show them this is a long-term business and that we need a willingness to invest time and enthusiasm to reach our ultimate goals.
