I wouldn't say CONVINCE is the suitable word for this. It refers to selling something to someone, lets put ADVISE and change the perspective of the question.
Start by letting your PSAs know what are the benefits of this memberships. TripleClicks is using exclusive discounts and reduced prices for it members as well as penny auctions where they can buy really cheap items. By buying TC items your PSAs are gaining VP points which are essential of maintaining an EA status and progressing into the program.
WAVE3. I belief is way easier to get your PSAs here because who wouldn't accept to get prizes and way more benefits for your SFI business weekly?!
Let them know what the benefits are and your side of the work is done!

What is your advice to those who want to pursue this business but have limited time to invest into it?

There is, actually, only two things you can invest in this building: TIME or MONEY.
If you can't invest time, you can put the balance by investing little more money.
I believe everyone can take 10 minutes out of their day and do the TO-DO list daily and drop a mail to a PSA or CSA some times.
Your options:
1) Standing Order (there is a special 125 TCredits pack that will bring you 1500 VP monthly for up to $30)
2) Co-Op (Invest 72 cents daily and your gateways will be advertised by SFI. Or your quality team members gateways such as EA2, BTL, STL...etc, because you can help them out and knowing they will maintain status you still gain VP from the PSA you get them. Co Op is mostly a team option)
Have fun! :)

What are the best ways to stay in contact with PSAs and CSAs and how often is best?

By looking for real examples and successful affiliates on SFI, I would say 1-2 times a week. Drop your PSAs and CSAs a group mail with anything interesting and useful for them that you would find on this resourceful site.
However, if you want quality PSAs and CSAs, if you wish to keep them you should get more personalized and close to them. Open the "My Movers" tab on the Home page and you will find a list of your most active and potential PSAs or CSAs. Keep their track in Genealogy and make sure you give them tips, make personal questions, if you get notified that they win something or they upgrade status - congratulate them.. etc.
Also best way to have responsive and active team members is to have contact with them on social networks and a forum for your own team. You choose, good luck!

Why is it important to have a good SFI account photo? And what makes a good photo?

A Good SFI photo is very important , especially for new PSA because you and your photo are the first thing they see most often and by that you represent their future image during the program. There for, your photo should show character, dedication and results.
Make effort to do a good PORTRAIT (not selfie, not a random image) that is going to give hope and vision of the PSA for what they are going to get in future if they work and keep working. Very simple!
What is the benefit of buying an S-Builder Co-op unit vs buying an upline member's co-op unit?

S-Builder Co Op is when you buy sign ups from SFI home page that were not referred are anyone. Benefit from S Builder is that you will gain new member came to SFI directly and are willing to join this network, however I would qualify them as quality because they might not be as targeted as they need to. They may not last long, at least not the bigger percent.
Upline member Co Op means that you are buying share in marketing activity that should target you people that want to work this program and that are quality. Downside is the point if the Upline doesnt know how to use it right.
Cheers.

I have an ECA store with products designed for SFI affiliates. What are some good ways to promote my store to affiliates while remaining ethical, and adhering to SFI rules and regulations?

Good question.
However, to respect the rules, you can't promote your self on SFI unless you are your team have a forum or similar.
What you can do is put effort in building a connections list on TC by inviting your team members, friends etc to connect with your shop and than use the NEWSLETTER option in the ECA Profile. Good luck!

You can put up a marketing campaign very easy.
1. Think what do you want to invest: Time or Money?
2. Find provider(s): Traffic Exchange, PPC , Social Networks etc.
3. Target your audience: Work from home opportunities.
4. Track the campaign by Key Codes and Hit Tracker(Power Tools).
5. Compare results of providers by measuring hits and sign ups.
Enjoy!

Benefits of organizing a contest for your downline.. there is just one benefit and it is the most important: Team Dedication.
If you make your EA, TLs, PSA or even CSA want to earn those extra money or Gift Cards by showing some progress and make even more by generating VP and accumulating even more downline, than making a contest is essential for you and your downline progress.
Possible benefits for the winners should be: Cash, Gift Cards, Advertising, PSA ... be creative.

What is the best way to convince my PSAs that they should set up a Standing Order?

Start by not using "convince" in this question :)
When we convince someone, it looks like we are selling to them a product and belief me - you don't want to leave an impression to your PSA that you sell to them - they will perceive this like you are trying to gain commission from them only...
In a way, your PSAs should consider this as a last minute resort. Why? Because you will gain small commissions for this and they will get lazy and wont put any effort in promoting the business or building a team. Real earnings come by building a strong team.
However, lets put the relatives in the desk:
TIME = DEDICATION = MONEY
Invest less TIME= Dedication + Money
Invest less MONEY= Dedication + Time
Invest less DEDICATION= Invest Money + Time
Conclusion: Find the PSAs that don't have time to dedicate them self nor even make 1.500VP monthly and "offer" them the SO possibility or Co-Op. In most cases, they will ask you about this before you find them!

The best way to find a mentor is to contact your sponsor or any Team Leader of your up-line as they and their teams have most benefit to provide you full mentoring and give you constant direction for your success.
However, you can still rely on you a2a friends and the SFI Forum for any questions you have, after all we are here to help each other and grow success together!
To your success!
