What a good question to ask...
Here's my many years experience in advertising to help answer this question.
All advertising campaigns should have a minimum of Four Basic Rules.
1: Use a Grabbing Headline: Up to 80% of all article readership are based on Headlines.
(Your headline should be a brief description/intro of your whole story/article)
2: Body Copy: What are you about?
(This is where you can express a few benefits/features about your business)
3: YOUR Call to ACTION: You must give people a reason to respond to your advert.
(This is where you display you Best Incentive Offers. Eg: Free to join, No Obligation, etc)
4: How to contact us - This can be your affiliate link, phone number, email etc.
( Check to make sure all your contact details are valid and working before commencing)
So to answer your question, sometimes less is more, advertising is about the quality of the content not the length, therefore each campaign will depend on your budget to how much you can promote about your business. Sometimes you will be limited to space and other times you might be able to say more. You be the judge.
NOW for the MOST Important part after each campaign. Monitor YOUR Results.
Regardless of the campaign size, make sure you've tagged your business advert with an ID number. This will allow you to track each campaign, then you can decide on your success of each campaign performed.
I hope my response was helpful and I wish you greatest of success.
