You can only keep your downline from quitting only if they don't want to quit. For example, in my own team, I have some people who complain to me daily that SFI is hard. That why would they have a standing order or have to buy something or even have to stay a long time before money starts trooping in? I gave them answers and also advised them on various methods they could use to make it easy for them, some took to it, while others still thought its a waste of time. For those who thought its a waste of time, I couldn't do much because deep down in them they have already quit. And for those that took to my advice and help, they are doing fine, and also I'm motivation them like giving free Tcredits and so on.
You can't really keep all your downline from quitting. All you can do is to help them enough, give them all you can give because you can't give them what you don't have. And also you strive to be better in SFI. If you do all this and they quit, you can't do anything again, you can't force them.
And also know this, you and I that's reading this or staying in SFI, some of us don't really get help from our sponsors or co- sponsors, but because we are determined, we are still here today. Let's keep it up. We are all going to get there. Cheers to success.

What do you do with affiliates who never do anything--despite your constant encouragement and offers of support?

I know how you feel Jacinta. In fact all team leaders or executive affiliates have affiliates that does not do anything after they register in their down line. Let me tell you the truth, there's no way you can push all your affiliates to be active even with all the encouragement, tips and stuffs like that.
The only thing I suggest you do is never give up. Keep sending messages, ask them how you can help them, keep on explaining to them in simple english how SFI can be of great help to them. Keep on sending appreciative messages, tell them how grateful and happy you are to have them in your downline.
If you have any affiliate in your downline that stays in the same country or not far from you, you can offer to come visit, if they won't be offended, that's if you haven't done that.
The fact is that most affiliates don't understand what SFI is really all about, they are been blinded by the fact that since they can't make money quickly, SFI is not worth it. Also, some affiliates wants to be spoon fed, I mean been told about each and every step they are to take.
Never give up, the affiliates that are not doing anything now, might be your backbone in SFI tomorrow.

How would it benefit me to transfer TCredits to my PSAs or CSAs?

No one can be so sure if transferring Tcredits will be so beneficiary or not too beneficiary. Tcredits is been bought, so transferring Tcredits is giving incentives to one's PSAs or CSAs.
We have different types of people that happens to be our PSAs and CSAs. Some will appreciate it and convert it to good things and do more so that they can have more PSAs and CSAs that they can also share Tcredits to.
While some will just take it and use it, and be waiting for you to share more, without making it beneficial to the person that sent it.
And also be careful the way you transfer Tcredits, it might even bring loss to you, if you are not tactical about it.
You can set a test e.g the first person who attains EA first will get this amount of Tcredits and so on. That will make you minimize the way you transfer it.
Because if you share Tcredits to all your PSAs and CSAs, it will only bring loss to you.

How can I find affiliates who are truly interested in SFI and who will remain active?

With the situation in most countries right now (economic meltdown), people are looking for ways to survive. People wants miracle ( a fast one at that).
When you introduce someone to SFI, at the back of their mind all they think is getting money in a few days or weeks. And we all know SFI is not like that, when they get to know, they get disappointed, and feel like quitting. Not because they don't believe in SFI, but because they think it takes time to get money here and its stressful so they feel bad and disappointed. Except for the few ones who have money to spend to get what they want in a few weeks, but unfortunately, you don't really get those who have money to spend, the most people you get are those people who want to survive and get money sharply.
How do you keep those from quitting when they feel like SFI is not for them because all they need is money as soon as possible.
Going back to your question, you can't really know who can be active at the long run, because at the first month, to get VPs are simple and free. But from the second month to eternity, they have to do some things to keep themselves in the race. Its from the second month, you know who is who, who won't give up, who will opt up and who will just stop.
Though you can help in giving them incentives and helping them with informations to keep them going. But you are never sure of who will be active and who will not.

Which is more effective--paid or free advertising--and why?

Paid Advertising is more effective of course. Since your aim of advertising is to get affiliates into your team. When you use paid advertising, you get more crowd which means more money.
Free advertising might not really give you what you want. Because you might not get enough crowd that you desire.
How do you handle being rejected over and over again when presenting the SFI opportunity to others?

First of all, SFI is a good business and also to be successful in SFI, you need to duplicate yourself. If you have that in mind that you want to be really successful, you won't be shy or feel dejected when someone rejects when you talk to them about SFI. For example, if you talk to Mr A about SFI and he rejects it, you can leave him for a while, you can still go back to him, if he rejects you can move to another person.
The reason why so many people are afraid or uninterested when they here about online business is that they have tried either 1 or more online businesses and have not gotten results even after wasting so many resources, you wouldn't blame them. You keep on trying, you widen your scope i.e you increase the number of people you talk to about SFI. And have it in mind that you just don't need anybody, you need serious minded people that can boost your business on SFI.
