What should SFI affiliates do every day to build their SFI business?

There are many things an SFI affiliate CAN do.
One thing is to always be learning. Browse the forums or read other articles on marketing, blogging, etc. Not only will that benefit the the affiliate, but he or she can then send that information to their downline. This helps your whole team and earns points for sending team mail.
Another important thing to do is to log in to the affiliate center every day. Earn as many daily, weekly, and monthly points as possible. Do the extra ask sc ratings for an extra daily grand entry. Also try to win free TCredits every day.
A very important thing is marketing, especially considering this is SFI Marketing Group, is to bring in new TC Members and SFI Affiliates. I try to post to Craigslist every day, as well as post to free traffic sites and exchanges. Free marketing can be very powerful.
These are just a few things any SFI Affiliate can do to strengthen their business. There are countless more things, some will work for some people, others won't. The key is finding what works for you.

How can you advise and help new PSAs when you are new to SFI and just getting started yourself?

First things first, go through the recommended training. Do the LaunchPad. Go through the Internet Income Course. Learn as much as you can. This will be enough to answer most questions that new affiliates will have. You can always ask your upline and A2A friends as well. Just always remember these resources.
*SFI Forum- You can find many common questions and answers in the forum.
*Upline- Consulting your upline is often one of the simplest ways to find answers to any question that you or a new affiliate may have.
*Ask SC- Ask SC is quickly becoming a wonderful resource. You can find many different perspectives and answers to an ever growing list of questions.
*INDEX- Each category tab in the SFI Affiliate Center has an INDEX button. There are many helpful answers under these.
*Support- There is a list of questions and answers in the support section.

What's more important--the initial contact with a prospect or the follow-up, and why?

This really depends on the prospect.
Some are already looking for an opportunity. The tiniest nudge will ignite their curiosity. For these types of prospects, the follow up is the most important. It needs to show that this is a REAL opportunity with real growth and advancement.
Others will be more skeptical at the idea in general. For them, it I about persuading them to even look. This is especially true for offline prospects. Many people are very cautious and unbelieving of making money online. However, these people will also need good, repeated follow ups to help show them how the system works.
Overall, the best approach is to have good first contacts AND effective follow ups. This will help sponsor more people, as well as helping more sponsored affiliates grow into a powerful downline.

When faced with negativity in promoting SFI, how do you respond and what path do you take moving forward?

Always respond with an understanding but positive attitude. Their skepticism should be understood because there ARE a lot of scams out there, especially on the internet. However, SFI has a very open and social atmosphere. You can talk with any other affiliate and see their success. Simply be patient and show them proof of your success later. Better yet, tell them that it is free to join and that they are welcome to try it out for themselves. If nothing else, give them a gift card. They'll at least see the front side of the business and it will speed up your success.

I am broke but I really want to make EA this month. What do I do and what is the best advice you can give to me?

My best advice is to purchase something if at all possible. S-builder, or T-Credits are my personal favorites to help build your SFI business. They get you points, and can be used to buy other products or build your downline.

Always enter the Daily Grand! I have met my goal just from the points won by it before. Don't get discouraged! Just continue to enter every day. Eventually you'll win.

What are the best SFI marketing tools to use with young persons who may be unemployed or under-employed?

Young, broke, and unemployed people love FREE. For this reason, anything emphasizing free is great! Use free gateways, flyers that include the word free, and especially gift cards. Explain that they can sell things on TripleClicks in much the same way as ebay. Make sure they understand that free doesn't mean easy. It's not something for nothing.
