I think if one quickly just thinks about which activity in SFI gets the most attention and are mentioned the most in support mails, it must be the Daily To-Do-List. Everyday and everywhere we will be reminded about the To-Do-List. And the fact that the Daily To-Do-List by itself does not guarantee an income can quickly lead to the easy conclusion that the Daily To-Do-List is the most overrated activity in SFI. But is it really?
Let’s think more about the tasks involved. Let us try to find the real value behind these tasks. Because in my mind that is exactly what they are, value adding actions. In what sense do they add value you might ask? I would say these tasks add value both to SFI as well as to you and me.
The benefit of some actions is more obvious to see than others. The TIPS tab is obviously to give you ideas to implement in your SFI business. So is the STREAM Tab to a certain extent. With STREAM posts lots of useful information can be published which can answer lots of our questions about our SFI business. ASK SC fit in here beautifully! Knowledge is the keyword. The value-adding benefit of useful information will serves us well in building a successful SFI business, which in turn will add value to the company SFI. The power of a knowledgeable and successful affiliate team will strengthen the stableness and sustainability of the company.
The TripleClicks actions ensure that we as affiliates are up to date with the backbone of our business, our online store, TripleClicks. After all, the marketing and selling of the products of TripleClicks can be seen as one of the most important aspects in earning an income as a SFI affiliate. Shouldn’t we then be up to date everyday with new deals, new listings etc.? And by exposing this information to us on a daily basis, SFI ensures that TripleClicks and its products stays fresh in our minds, the more we market and sell the products the stronger the store becomes. Value adding benefits to both the company as well as the affiliate.
The SCOREBOARD is all about motivation which will serve you and me, as well as SFI, good for years to come. To keep track of your own performance, earnings and bragging rights will add benefit to you in the sense that you are being motivated. Obviously a company with strong motivated people will be able to sustain its growth.
That brings us to the GROWTH Tab. One thing I wanted to know, before I joined SFI, was how sustainable is the income opportunity, meaning is this a fly-by-night venture. To be constantly updated with the company’s growth bring a feeling of security to the affiliate. This adds value to the company to the extent that the company is more likely to retain its affiliates.
In essence the Daily To-Do-List engage us on a daily basis with SFI as well as with other affiliates, building a strong, knowledgeable, informed and motivated team of affiliates, who are strengthening the sustainability of the SFI company, in order for it to ensure lucrative financial rewards towards the affiliates.
Regarding the most underrated activity. I would really say that the Duplication factor does not get the same attention as the Daily To-Do-List. And according to me it should be the main focus point.
The moment I joined up the first thing that I was made aware of was the Daily To-Do-List. I think that the Duplication factor should be stressed more from the start. The focus on the Daily To-Do-List is such that new affiliates might think that that is the alpha and omega of what it takes to earn an income in SFI
I get the feeling that people in there first two months and even longer are quite happy to just click through the Daily To-Do-List and leave it at that, maybe thinking that that is enough to ensure an income at the end of the month.
If we are not going to build a big, strong and active down line (duplicating ourselves) we are not going to earn to our full potential with SFI. Qualifying to share in TripleClicks’s Executive Pool and Matching VP’s will not happen if clicking through the Daily To-Do-List is our only activity in SFI.
For this reason I think, right from the very start, a new affiliate’s focus and main activity should be to generate sign-ups and to duplicate oneself. That should be the first thing about SFI, which is instilled in our minds when entering the SFI world.
The promotion of the Daily Generation-of-Sign-ups actions should be the main message in all the training, emails, team mails, SFI support mails, reminders and newsletters which are populating a new affiliate’s inbox as well as the Affiliate Center.
My feeling about how the focus should be prioritized:
? Most important: Generate sign-ups and Duplicate yourself.
? Also important: Do the Daily To-Do-List.
My feeling is that at the moment it is the other way around and that is causing the Daily To-Do-List to be judged an over rated activity, which it should not be.
