What are the best ways to recruit good, new affiliates?

That is a good question personally i would first start my recruiting from the following:
1 Family.
2 Friends
3 Close Acquaintances
After i have recruited from all of the above,which is my warm market i would focus on other areas that produces a lot of human traffic such as:
1 Laundry Mat
2 Churches
3 Grocery Store
4 Malls
Families are among the first we would want to approach with the offer of being your recruit as most family is always willing to help.Also friends and even some close acquaintances.
When seeking a good candidate to recruit,we must know all the facts before we approach such person or persons,and make sure the picture that is painted by you to them is one that is hard to resist.

How do you prepare your affiliates for their second month in the business?

This is a serious question which should be considered carefully before given the response.
First you have to be truthful to the affiliate from the beginning,let them know what to expect before they decide to start SFI,do not sell them a false hope,make sure the affiliate is aware of what they are getting into before they get into it.
I say this because i can remember clearly when i join SFI. I got a phone call from some lady who did not identify her self just told me i had applied for a job and they where considering me,she ask me if i was near a computer she told me get on line,i was a bit hesitant because i was tired of all these get rich scheme,she then started telling me all i had to do was to advertise for SFI and i would get pay.I ask her how was i going to get paid and she told me her job was just to help me get started and the persons or person responsible to pay will tell me how.
I say this so others will not feel pressured into something they are not sure of or ready to to,let the affiliate decide and they will be good affiliates,tell them it is not a job but rather a business,a job pays wages but a business give commission,If they have been given the facts at first and they join faith will take care of the rest,everything they have learn in the first month will prepare them for the next months ahead.

The best pitches is be knowledgeable about every thing in regards to SFI,TripleClicks,Pricebenders,and the ECA program. People attention span is short most time so when presenting the opportunity to them whether on the phone,in writing or face to face you must allow your enthusiasm and confidence to be evident in your presentation.
Know what you are talking about and make sure you can give then references to what you tell them. Tell them about the benefits most people want to know what they can achieve when getting into something new.
Never sell them a false hope because this will look bad on you and SFI be transparent and truthful,honest dealing will take you far,always refer to yourself about your achievement and have proof,especially to family members who are sometimes the hardest to win over.
Face to face seem intimidating at times never let fear conquer your confidence,practice in front your mirror if you must,after awhile it will comes natural to do your presentation without fear.

Good question
Some affiliate join SFI because they are looking a way out of a present condition,most people do not come to hear about investment,most come to hear how to make money so it is always within our best interest to tell the new affiliate how to invest in their own business.
By doing this that is the best investment any affiliate could ever have,also some affiliate comes to SFI with a low budget we do not want them to feel we are trying to let them spend what they do not have,we should educate them of what methods to use within their budget that will help them to succeed in SFI.

Why don't more people work towards advancing in SFI?

Some people may have just sign up to see how quickly they can earn some money.
Also it may be that people might be struggling as time is hard so they really do not want to spend the time and effort,to learn and advance,also some people just look at the short term,and not the long term aspect of the earning.
But the most important thing to have to advance they will not spare the time to learn and then earn.Whatever is stopping people from advancing sometimes small things that can be easily taken care of.
Also some might try one too many internet business and they did not work out so they are cautious when it comes to spending again.
I know for me i try one internet business already spend monthly lost money did not make a dime,but that did not stop me from trying again. I mention this because some people just do not want to be dupe or fooled while some like us will give it our best shot and win big.

I would assume that the first tip a PSA would want to hear is how to grow their business
the sponsor should make it their point of duty to give the necessary detail on how to accomplish that goal.
The sponsor should also sell the dream each week to the PSAs that they will never want to quit even if they are in doubt or just trying to see where this business takes them.
The sponsor should do the things for themselves what they want the PSAs to do in other words lead by example.
Everyone that enter a new venture wants to know that they are not in this alone,so sponsor must be there to properly guide each PSAs along the way.
Even if you think you are failing it is always refreshing to know someone is looking out for you, and send words of encourage your way,and have your best interest at heart.
Most people do not go into business to fail,most people just need a good support unit.

To be a successful in SFI one have to learn to follow instruction, every successful person whether with SFI or any other organization have to be willing to learn concepts and be willing to teach others the same concepts.
By following instruction you must read and fully understand what is required to be done and be willing to follow them precisely as they are laid out.
Every good leader must first been led before they start leading.their success comes only by following good examples and perseverance.
We must be motivated by someone or something to be successful,whatever efforts we put into SFI that is what we will get out of it.Each persons success depends on them.
SFI gives us the tools,thats the guideline we must read and understand well then put everything into action.
We must also be discipline, to follow each reading is a wonderful tool.Use it wisely.

A very good question:
In my opinion both are important and detrimental to the growth and success of ones business.
The initial contact is important because you want to sell your idea to the best buyer who will get the understanding of what you are all about,the contact should be presented so uniquely that it will be hard to resist the offer,remember first impression last.
Follow-up is the critical part of growth,if you plant a seed and not water the seed unless nature assist that seed will perish.So it is with business,you make the presentation,someone like the idea decide to try,they will be young at heart,sometimes feeling the business is too much,somethings they may feel overwhelm at times but
if someone in their corner to cheer them on or even give a solid advice it will help that person get the confident that is much needed to push forward.Initial contact and follow up compliments each other,one without the other will be failure.

The amount of hours you put into SFI is up to you,you should decide what and how you want to grow.This discretion is up to each of us individually,whether we can take 10 min and succeed or 10 min and fail.
Please remember this is not a job that you will get dock paid if you do not show up, this is a business and we should treat it as such. Some people will spend a lot of hours on line while some spend a few hour,which ever you choose to do will impact your grown or your down fall.
Sometimes success does not depend on hours or time, but rather how we utilize whatever tools that we are given to work with.
