This question is really interesting. I had almost the same concern when I was
a novice to SFI. Then I participated on Pricebender's pennyauctions.

There are an auction where SFI is selling so called 'lifetime custom domains' and this auction is running frequently on Pricebender. The chance to get it is high and
I bed and have won it.

Then you have your own website and you can promote it only, but you cannot make changes to the site. This is not possible.

You are better off to create a website outside SFI (there are many big opportunities
in the web) with a domain name which should be easy to remembered.

Then you can promote the links of your GATEWAYS together with the textlinks or bannerlinks from the MARKETING tab on this website.

Consequently you need to promote your own website now through social media,
classified ads, submission services and so on.

This is a good question and I already have seen that the potential affiliates
have always a common desire:

Writing a letter is unusual, whenever contacting an Affiliate personally you
can use groupmail.

I would not recommend to send out a letter by postal service, only if you know that
the Affiliate is a stamp collector.

But from my point of view it is good to write a group mail - it should be made
very politely and one should outline the potential keys of success.

This business is to be considered seriously as any other business also.
Doing this business is to communicate with business partners on a business basis,
so take the adventage of SFI's free informations and tools and use them.

Business needs some investment, either investment of engagement or investment of
little money.

If you spent a little amount (for advertising or for purchases) you can have some results faster. However, if you invest you will have always a return of investment.
This is your profit.

The higher the return of investment is, the higher your profit is.

Hello, this is a nice question and I have applied some regulations for me. Usually I write one newsletter to my PSAs and CSAs every weekend.
In them I tell them what I have achieved, how many sign-ups I received and if there were someone who climbee up to The next rank.
Alternatively you can give special sponsoring-or promotion tips.
Finally let them know, that you are there to assist them.

This question is easy to be answered. One must confess, that only 90 % of your Genealogy wll be active. The rest was curious of this opportunity and signed in. Those candidates will never do anything, no matter how much support you offer.

Regard this as a normal situation of Networking. Networking is like Netfishing.
When you go out to catch fishes with a net you can catch not only the tasty fishes,
but the majority of the catch is not for the pan and can be sent back to the sea.

The same is with Networking: The Network is full of intelligent and business minded people. However, only a few will be likely to do more than the average. They are on top and they will be on top.

While with netfishing you need to throw out the net every day you have to do the same with Networking. Promote your Network every day anew. You will receive a lot of
sign-ups but not every sign-up will be for your active downline.

Just concentrate more to the really interested affiliates. You will see them in your MOVERS.

This is a very good question and I thank you for asking us this.
It is important to have a plan for building a business, a business plan.

The best plan to help new PSAs is the following:

1st relax and feel as a business man or business woman, that means putting up a
business attitude, business is to be treated seriously. Set up your goals and
update your profile, upload a nice picture from you, so that your fellow affiliates
can recognize you as one to make business with

2nd log in daily 2-4 hours in the beginning. You can log in in the morning for
doing your tasks within the SFI member centre, read the information, the NEWS,
the FORUM, then switch to your To-Do-List, complete your daily tasks there,
collect the VPs by clicking the blue colored bar.

3rd promote your business. Go to your GATEWAYS and paste the links to your social media
sites, like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, write a blog

4th look up to Pricebenders pennyauctions, there you can participate. But you need
Triple Credits for doing so. Purchase a 10 pack Triple Credits and try to win
more Triple Credits for cheap price.

5th find your favourite article at Triple Clicks and SHARE IT by pasting the appropiate
codes to your social media site

6th Go for playing 'Pick the price' and T-Time drawing

I think, if you do this daily you will be very successful.

It is the best to look at Pricebender's more than once during the day. So you exantly know what they are offering for bidding.

Than you can click on the SHARE IT buttom. Now you have more than one option:
you can share it on TWITTER or on FACEBOOK. This is very easy. Facebook will directly open and after entering your FACEBOOK login you can share Pricebender's on Facebook.

But I give you a tip: Please open a new site at your Facebook profile, a commercial site.
This would prevent Facebook to consider your promotion as Spam.

With Twitter you have the difficulty that TWEEDS are limited to the length.
Please shorten your TWEEDS before you sent it.
