How do you make SFI not be overwhelming for yourself and team members?

This is really good question !!
First of i want to tell you that, every one who joins SFI feels it as overwhelming.
The reason is whenever some one is starting a new business he has to be familiar with all the pros and cons. Now any thing which is new has to be studied first unless we know completely about that particular business, we feel it as overwhelming. As SFI has its own unique feature which require lots of experience to get grip of it, so new affiliate has to be guided and to taught all the various concept involved in this business.
When i joined SFI, i too had the same feeling but with support of my Team Leader.I learnt each and every aspect of SFI, and now i feel it very simple.
The same method i use for my new affiliate that not to get confused and learn as much as you can, and still not cleared come to me any time.

As an sfi member, i would recommend you to opt for IAHBE first, it will give you a standing order through which you can maintain your EA status every month.
Beginners in any field should first learn and then implement it in practical.For this i would recommend you to join some classes for learning advertising methods on internet. This will help you to know all the basic concepts of internet advertising methods, because you should understand all the do's and dont's to be safe from unwanted materials.
Finally, be motivated towards your business and be active.

What was the best advice you ever got from your upline and how has it helped you?

The best advice which i got from my upline is to be friendly with your PSA's and CSA's, so that they feel free to contact you at any time, when they have any queries. It develops good relation among the team and make them confident of taking any action towards improving their own profile.
I got the same support from my team leader and i learned a lot from him. Today i am doing well because of his support.

1. Be friendly with people who you meet daily or regularly. When you get a chance try to explain about SFI, don't pressurize them to join right now, just explain all the concept and wait for his reply.
2. Don't miss those situation, when you have chance to share your experience of success in SFI.
3. Become an example for them, you can show your commission report, your profile page, the rewards you got from your up line and your badges.

How would you convince an affiliate giving up on SFI to continue in the business?

I want to share my own experience with all of you, which is an answer to this question:-
I joined in the month of Jan 13 the same day i got the rank of EA. This status gave me a bonus of 20 affiliates as my downline.
The same month i got the rank of STL which gave me and additional bonus of 100 affiliates in the next month.
The first month commission is not much attractive but second months commission, was excellent and which was over my expectation.
Now the same story which helped me motivate many affiliates to join me and continue to do this business on a regular basis...
some of my csa's who were in the mood of giving up SFI, are active now they are inspired after reading this, and this is how i am continuing with SFI with excellent team.

Has anyone used Skype or other video chat service with their team members...and was it effective?

I think Skype is the best way of communication.The best part of it is you can express yourself not only in verbal manner but as have personal interaction with your team. Personal communication is always helpful because we get good insight of the person to whom we are talking. This gives clarification to the speaker about the person available in front of him.
I personally have not used it till now but definitely i would get it soon. There is no doubt that its one of the best and effective source of communication.

What is the benefit of receiving non-active, re-assigned affiliates (PSAs) from your upline?

I don't think there is any benefits of receiving non-active PSAs. This is can make your genealogy bigger but will not fetch any kind of benefit.
And if you think they may become active in future, than its depends on your luck. Simply be positive do your job if you have potential you may get active PSAs also.

I think first off all you need to join some course and get complete knowledge about Blogging! because internet is a huge net which covers the whole world, so this is not an easy topics. Any thing you do on internet is going to have some impact on your business, so why to take risk with such an important tool.
I have personally experienced that without complete knowledge of blogging, may not give you the best result.
Creating a blog is not a tough job but making it viewable to all is a challenge for which you should have good knowledge. Along with this you should have creative thinking to make it more attractive.
