Being on Marketing since 1976 and with SFI since last December, I have started studying this reality of down line building and getting affiliates to sign up for our account.
First thing to do it’s evaluate the cost of each sign up we get that turns active, the real objective. So I started making this, how? I did bough many affiliates I paid a price for it and I have done a good job, according to “Be An Awesome Sponsor” or even better do to my experience.
So let’s analyze results & costs:
I did bought from 1 supplier 285 affiliates/signup’s and spent 437.50 USD
Among those 285 affiliates I have:
1 Being EA since 2 month
1 Was EA on first month and give up on second month
Conclusion I did paid 437.50 USD for 1 active Affiliate.
The question here it’s to know how this happen and how to achieve results at an acceptable cost. As a Marketeer I have access to several Gurus on this so I did started to make several Skype and phone conferences with people that could help me on this.
Also I did made more than 30 experiences with companies selling Signup’s all over the World to take conclusions. Here they are:
1. The majority are serving incentivized signups, meaning people that receive some money to join. That’s the way they earn some money, not really searching for any other business.
2. Many are just using fake email, or if not fake, they use bots to do the job or even buy email lists to make it.
3. Majority of the affiliates are from very poor countries not prepared to make any investment even for a needed Standing Order to be Executive Affiliates.
4. Percentage of real people interested in Home Business it’s inexpressive.
The question we have to put to ourselves it’s, do we want a huge genealogy list full of pages of inactive people or maybe 1 or 2 with actives?
I did choose few but active, real and committed affiliates.
Based on this and my conversations with many Marketing experts I did took the following conclusions:
1. A good affiliate it’s the one really looking for Home Business Opportunity
2. A real person
3. Interviewed by phone to explain SFI project
4. If interested he will sign up to be active or don’t sign in at all.
This means a TARGETED LEAD.
Make your accounts, see how much you did spend in total for your down line, see how many active Affiliates you have, take your conclusions.
CONCLUSION: If you buy signups, read product characteristics very well before decide.
