I understand that getting downline members to understand SFI seems to be a simple task but actually difficult to tackle. But here are what I think are possible solutions:
1. First of all, tell your downline members that SFI is not a rich-quick scheme, hence, they don't expect to earn much overnight.

2. In order to be successful in SFI, they need to invest time, efforts, patience and perseverance to say the least.

3. Tell them that communication is a key element in SFI. But before they become responsive, you as their team leader need to initiate the communication process. Send them email asking them how they are doing with their SFI business. This would make them feel that you are open to understanding their problems and they expect some sort of solutions to their problems.

4. Tell them that SFI offers training in internet marketing business and all they have to do is to read them, understand them and implement them in their daily-to-do activities in SFI. Show them the links to make their search easier.

5. Tell them that in joining SFI, it is like sowing your plant and reaping the fruits of your labor in terms of versa points acquired, sales made in Tripleclicks, and affiliates enrollment in your SFI gateways.

6. Tell them that SFI offers open communications between and among affiliates in local and international scenes through its A2A program.

This is a great question and a challenge to accomplish in this virtual world. However, here are some important steps that might help...First, you need to understand that you will never ever get all of your team members to join in any team community spirit and very far from it;
Second, you want to be very present yourself in working with the ones that really want to be working with you...through regular email or chat communications; Third, you can create some contests and incentives.

I would hold their hand and show them exactly what to do. In fact, I have put together a spreadsheet that I constantly update which has over 500 free advertising resources, along with promo codes for each site to garner more advertising from each site. I would tell them that it won't be a glamorous job, in fact, it may be downright tedious...but go through each site, one by one, and dot the land with Banners, text ads and solo ads that all point back to your gateways. I would tell them to advertise for both their down lines and for Triple Clicks.

I would also tell them how to find even more free advertising sources by giving them very specific words to search on Google. Text exchanges are an amazingly responsive resource and there are literally thousands of them. You could post ads all day and all night for a year & never use the same ad exchange twice. Most of these exchanges us "JV Script" to run their sites, so I would tell my down line to do searches on Google for the words "JV Upgrade" & "Super JV Upgrade". Many of these exchanges also use the same Free advertising promo codes for Free ad packs so I would tell my down line to look up the words "undergrad", "Freeware" "Free Super JV" "Promo code, starter" "Promo code, new member" "Promo code, Traffic" etc. I would also look up the words "Credit Mailer" All you need to do is view the ads on just a few of these sites to have an endless breadcrumb trail of advertising to follow.

With all the free advertising out there, the only way you can fail is if you don't truly want to succeed. Use the Free advertising to make enough money to fund some lifetime or 1 Year upgrade at some of the more established advertising sites and ONLY THEN take a break!

1. The first thing to consider is which gateway are you wanting to advertise? That makes a difference in where you end up advertising. For example: You might want to promote your Tripleclicks gateway in places such as online yard sales or that deal with saving money whereas you might want to promote the SFI opportunity in places dealing with working from home or the economy or personal finances...
2. The next thing to ask is what type of person would be interested in this? Make a list. For example: someone looking to make extra money (SFI opportunity) or someone looking for a new place to sell their products (ECA)
3. Now, where do these people go online? Do searches. You want to place your ad where it would be seen by someone who would be interested.
4. Once you know where they might see an ad, you can pick an ad to advertise. Before picking, I'd suggest "listening" to what they are discussing. What are their problems and dreams? 5. When using your gateway in the ad, you might want to consider using key code tracking for each so you can monitor which ads are getting results and which ones are not. While using your SFI mailer is sufficient, you can maintain a separate list of active affiliates by using your own business email. Communication with your down line should always have an objective. You are the team leader so you need to set the expectation for your entire network of active affiliates. No matter how effective your communication method, 50% of your affiliates will not respond or show any concern. This is not a reflection on you but rather a reflection of them.

That said, you should communicate with your down line at least 3 times within a 7 day period but no more than 5. Your active members need your support and direction so 3 emails will do for them. Those that are not as active need to see that you are actively engage in your efforts to help them.

Another reason you want to use your own business mailer is that that html is available as well as basic formatting. Your sfi mailer is just plain text. If you include reference links you must explain that affiliates need to copy and paste the link into their browser. With POP mail, links are automatically blue and clickable. Moreover, their is a certain degree of privacy that your own personal mail affords that using the team mail does not. Every team mail is subject to scrutiny and if sfimg thinks that your message is to 'spammy' they won't approve it and all the work you put into it is lost.

In conclusion, team mail works like a charm for those active affiliates that just need a short reminder of tasks that have not been completed. A more detailed message may be need for those affiliates that are not as savvy with browsers and how they work. By using your how personal email, you can include many reference links and they will all be just point & click. I recommend that you use both. Besides, you can earn 30VPs each week by sending team mail. You can do this with your personal mail plus you do have to maintain that list. So when affiliates fall by the wayside, you have clean your contact list. Overall effectiveness of any message is 50/50.
