My advice for an SFI Affiliate who wants to create and maintain their own website is

1. Choose a keyword rich domain- You can find keywords by going to Google's keyword tool, just google it. Next, you type in a keyword and choose one that has a decent amount of searches and low competition. Google's keyword tool which is now known as keyword planner is limited to stating low, medium or high so what you need to do is grab the keyword and type it in Google's search box in quotes. Next, you click on the search and you go to the last page of google to see the exact competition. This same process applies to finding good keywords to base articles off when you began to create content for your website.

Set up your domain at Namecheap or GoDaddy which are some of the best places to buy your domain. Try to set up you name servers while purchasing it.

2. Search Engine Optimization- These are Some Core Ranking Methods:

Use your keyword in the Meta Title and meta description on every page. This is the first SERP (Search Engine Results Pages) Impression.

Use related keywords in the Heading Tags- H1 Tags for titles and H3 and H4 tags for Subheadings and use them in order.

Internal link your content from one page to another can help you rank better in the search engines because it lets Google know that your content is valuable enough to refer people to other pages other than a straight affiliate link. Inter link related keywords.

External links- Link to authority sites within your niche.

3. Create high quality content- They say 'Content is King'. This will lead to making you an authority in your niche. High quality content can naturally lead other sites link naturally to you, give you a boost in the search engines and visitor loyalty.

Now, you should still keep search engine optimize your site but still try to sound natural. Remember that you're writing for people and not the search engines. The most important thing is to create attention grabbing titles with your keyword.Include your keyword somewhere in the first sentence of your first paragraph, sprinkled throughout your content, and mention it in your last paragraph.

Your content should be readable meaning that you should use black text on white background and it should be socially engaging. Also use related images throughout your content and embed YouTube videos.

SEO is important and it takes time for your site to rank, but remember there are other ways to market your site such as article directories, social media, social bookmarking your site, YouTube video marketing, forums, classified ad sites, your own business card, commenting on other people's blogs, and many more.

5. Install Google Analytics- This way you can track the behavior of your visitors and optimize the pages that have a high bounce rate

6. Don't overuse affiliate links, Google doesn't like this. Try to always centralize your content to one to three pages. Always add a key code to your affiliate links and even on your banners.

7. Include an About Me page to increase trust and credibility.

8. Other pages I would add are TripleClicks,Penny Auctions, ECA, SFI, Contact and a Privacy Policy Page.

VersaPoints are points awarded to affiliates for a variety of actions, as outlined on their VP Ledger and To do list. They're mainly used to determine an affiliates rank. If they login in everyday and get at least 11 VP, they will receive a VersaPoints streak badge. The more points an affiliate earns each month, the higher their SFI commissions, benefits, perks and Power Rankings.

The easiest way to maintain an Executive Affiliate status is to set up a Standing Order (SO) with at least 1,500 VP attached to it. If they don't maintain at least 1,500 VP, they will lose their co-sponsored affiliates. A subscription to IAHBE (International Association Home Business Entrepreneurs) is a great idea because it comes with 1500 points and will also provide them with great information, training, and tools to further maximize their success. Another great option is a standing order of 125 Tcredits so they can earn VP by bidding on auctions for things they need for their business such as gift cards, IAHBE, PSA's, CSA's, and S-Builder Co-op Units. The 1,500 VP can also be earned with any combination of actions, sales, and/or purchases.

Team Leaders (TLs) must have a minimum of 1,500 and a maximum of 2,000 Sales VP and at least 1220 Action VP's each month to maintain their rank and retain their TL benefits. Achieving at least 2720 VersaPoints each month qualifies them for second home co-sponsored affiliates.

Make them understand to not focus solely on VersaPoints, but on actions that will make them income. As SFI BASICS explains, they should focus on generating TripleClicks sales, sponsoring affiliates, and duplication- teaching their affiliates what they do.

In order to do this, they must have the right knowledge by going through the training, advertising every day and following the SFI Rules of Success.

They can earn unlimited VersaPoints by focusing on these actions:

• They can earn unlimited points selling any of the products and services at TripleClicks. By going to the SFI affiliates tab, they can see how many VersaPoints and commissions they can earn on a particular product. They can also print a QR Coded Flyer and get their affiliate link which can be inserted into their blog.

• As a Team Leader, they can earn 100 to 300 points monthly for each personally sponsored EA2.
As a TL, they will receive 150 points each month for each BTL (Bronze Team Leader), 200 points for each STL (Silver Team Leader), 250 points for each GTL (Gold Team Leader), and 300 points for each PTL (Platinum Team Leader) they support. They will also earn 45% of CV (Commission Volume) when their personally sponsored affiliate purchases products or services. Each time one of their Co-Sponsored Affiliates (CSAs) makes a purchase they earn 15% of the CV. Team Leaders can reassign a portion of their sponsored affiliates to their "Movers" and earn 5 points for each reassignment (unlimited points).

• They can refer an unlimited number of E-Commerce Associate and earn 100 points once that ECA lists their first product.

• They can earn 500 points for getting a Payoneer MasterCard Debit Card.

• They can answer questions at ASK SC and earn 100 VP if their answer is voted as the best, 50 VP if voted second best, and 25 VP if voted third best. There's no limit on these points.

• They can win hundreds of VersaPoints every week by entering the Daily Grand drawing.

• They can earn up to 300 VP each month for distributing gift cards and earn more VP and income if sales are generated.

The signs that a new affiliate will be a good one are:

-Earning the Fast Track Badge.
-Completing their To Do List such as uploading their photo, confirming their registration and white listing SFI.
-Logging in everyday and completing their Launchpad lessons.
-Trying to stay above the green line.
-Immediately apply some marketing methods and sponsor some members and affiliates.
-In their second month, they set up a standing order.
-They become a member of IAHBE, buy S-Builder units, Tcredits, gift cards, or business cards.

However, just because they don’t make purchases their second month doesn’t mean they’re going to be a bad affiliate, it just may be that they’re not financially capable. In this situation, we have to teach them how to generate sales and sponsor affiliates using free advertising techniques such as blogging in Blogger or WordPress, advertising in social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, in traffic exchanges such as Traffic Swarm, safelists, writing articles and submitting them to Ezine Articles or Street Articles, writing in Squidoo.com, making a video using CamStudio.org and submitting them to YouTube; MetaCafe; and Vimeo, and posting classified ads.

They are also reading the Internet Income Course everyday. And once they do have the capital, I bet they will invest in their business. We have to make an affiliate a good one and motivate them.
