When starting out in SFI, is it better to invest in advertising or in an EA-qualifying purchase?

I don't think it is an option. You have to do both.
Maintaining EA will get you a share of the TripleClicks Executive Pool. But if you only do this one thing, then your monthly income will be small. Continue doing this and you will get discouraged.
But if you advertise then you increase your income streams. Instead of just relying on the TC Executive Pool, you potentially can get:
1) PSAs, where you can earn 45% of CV
2) PRMs, also 45% of their CV plus all their VPs
3) ECAs, where you can earn 10% of CV
Choose your advertising carefully though. Learn how to advertise through free advertising sites first so that when you start paying for your advertising, you will get your return of investments.

What's the best way to gain the attention of Second Home CSAs and get them active again?

I will just tell you what I did and you can judge for yourself.
When I received the Second Home CSA message from SFI, I log in and checked out my Genealogy. I look to see which of the CSAs have been active before but have stayed away for some time. I take note of them.
Then I write a Team Message to them. I introduce myself. Explain that I am his or her new Co-Sponsor. Explain that his/her old co-sponsor for whatever reason has dropped out and SFI being a great programme has replaced the old co-sponsor with me so that he/she will always have a reference point for help.
Then I explain about SFI as a refresher. Ensure them SFI is legit. Ensure them that from now on, being a part of my team, we will help each other to succeed.
Then I give them my email, and my Leadership page. If you have a blog, you should send them there too. Always have a place where your team can refer to if they want personal stories of your SFI experiences.
I already have one contacting me back asking me to explain about SFI to him. I answered him immediately, on the same day if you can.
My take, everyone is different, so try to come across as you understanding that difference. Too busy with family, no problem, slow and steady can still win the race. Already been burnt by other programmes, agreed, me too, but comparing SFI with the others, this is legit.
You may need several emails before that one email can touch your CSAs heart and make them willing to try again. Be understanding.

How can I increase my earnings with SFI?
Shamsina Sabdin, Aff (Malaysia)

By building a big team with as much active members as you can.
Because if only you do the work, there is only so much sales and marketing you can do. But if a whole lot of you do the work, then a lot more will get done, and your whole team will benefit, not just you. Remember that.
Some people are concerned that if they put so much effort in, their sponsors will get the benefit but not them. They seem to forget that this is a team system where if nobody does the work, then nobody earns, but if everybody does the work, then everybody earns. And they will earn much more than if they do the work individually.

Should I promote the ECA program to businesses that are not online and/or do not currently use the Internet?

Yes, you definitely should!
First find out why they are not online, because a lot of companies have their own website now, they use a blog if they are just a small company and not enough money to pay for a domain name.
Then explain how TripleClicks get rids of all the issues and actually would help their business a lot!
1) No money for a domain. No problem. TripleClicks is free. Just register, open your store, list your products and your are ready to sell.
2) No time to advertise the website because too busy with the store itself. Don't worry. TripleClicks has hundreds of members and thousands more if you count SFI affiliates. These people will do the advertising for you.
3) Don't know how to use the internet. They just use the computer to balance the books. Well here is where your own initiative comes in. You can offer to teach them the basics. To bookmark the website, to register and login, to remember the password, to list their products, to calculate price, etc. Remember to just teach the basics because the ECA programme is what they are interested in. The Eager Zebra games and all that will come later when they are ready.

How can I support and motivate my team members without demanding too much or turning them off?

In my opinion, look into yourself. What would make you turn off?
Personally I would not want to receive daily emails from the same person, repeating something over and over again. Weekly is fine. Especially if it comes with good advice and information that I want to know.
Like how to make money with SFI, where to advertise, how to set up an SO, etc.
Have you kept all emails from your upline? I do. Periodically review them and think back. When you are a newbie, which emails do you find most helpful? Send the same type of emails to your team.
The slow starters will thank you for it. And the energetic ones in your team will definitely email you for more information.

What is the best way to maintain my SFI position and continue to support my team whilst on vacation with limited, if any, internet availability?

Well I think I will answer your second question first - how to support your team whilst on vacation.
Depending on how long your vacation is, make sure your team knows that you will be away for a while. If it happens that someone tried to reach out to you during your vacation and you couldn't answer back, you might, unintentionally, give a bad impression or worse that person might not contact you at all any more.
So be sure to do that. And be sure to mention that they are not alone even though you are away. They have a lot of resources to refer too. They have their co-sponsor, which is the best thing about SFI - a sponsor and a co-sponsor!. It is highly unlikely that both will be away on vacation at the same time.
And if you could, create a special website for your team to refer to during the times you are away. Fill it with information based on the questions that you have received from your team. Because if one team member has that question, it is likely another team member would want to know the answer too. I know of some who does this and I am currently creating mine too.
And if you have your advertising on automatic and there is potential that new affiliates would sign up while you are away, make sure there is an auto responder of some kind that welcomes them.
As to how to maintain your SFI position, well I'd say keep an SO active, make sure you go on vacation mode if you do not want to lose your VP streak.

Above all else, what is the ONE THING that has made the difference for you in succeeding with SFI?

I can honestly say that my upline is the ONE THING that has made the difference for me. He always ask how I am. Seldom offer help because he knows that I will contact him anyway if I ever need help. He rewards me for the progress that I have achieved.
And since I am happy with him, I would like to be the same way to my own downlines. I hope I am suceeding.
How do you benefit financially from the efforts of your PSAs?

Review the compensation plan again. Everything is there.
1) When your PSA buys something, you will get 45% of CV.
2) If you are a Team Leader, you will get matching VPs on any EA2 PSAs, which will add towards your share of the TripleClicks Executive Pool.
3) If your PSA becomes an ECA, you will get lifetime royalties!
How do we get the most from the MRP (Member Reward Points) we earn?

What I do is use my MRPs to purchase either TCredits or PSAs To Go. And I would recommend you use it for any TC Direct products. This is because when you buy any TC Direct products with MRPS, you still get the VPs attached to it.
This doesn't happen if you buy from ECAs. I mean you don't get the VPs attached to it. But so saying, if you want to use your MRPs to buy advertising or PSAs from ECAs, you can do that too. Because you need advertising for your business and you need to build your team.
But remember to check out the reviews first before buying anything, with cash or MRPs. Once you are satisfied that you will get your money's worth (or MRPs' worth) then go ahead.

What are the best ways to use the MY MOVERS tab to maximize your SFI business?

When you login and go to the My Movers tab, make sure you check who is online. If bubble is yellow, then they are online and you should contact them. Because direct contact is better at giving the message that you are available and there to help.
If no one is online, then review who has been away the longest. Send an e-card (I feel they are much better than emails) to let them know that you're missing them and that they're missing free VPs!
Then go through their VP ledger and see if there is something they have missed. Like perhaps the banner on their website? Facebook? Twitter? If so, offer to teach them how to do it so they can get the VPs.
And finally, check to see if they still have the green (or red) airplane that indicates they are eligible for the Fast Track 2.0. All new affiliates are. Remind them about this and especially about the long term benefits.
