Most employees today do not invest into the company they are working for. They do their work, they don't have to think about how to do it, they just do it unless they are in a creative field, and they have a boss who tells them everything to do. And most jobs nowadays are temporary and unstable.

A business owner invests lots of time and money, has to do his own planning and decision making, and has to lead his crew in a manner that produces respect, teamwork, and a sense of a job well done.

I think the most important thing to do to change your PSAs from employees to business owners is to teach them to set goals and how to meet them. Setting goals takes planning, following them takes conviction. Achieving landmark goals in itself is a reward system, but other rewards will go a long way to bringing your affiliates along.

As they strive for their goals, they will have to invest time and money into their business, Stress that it is their business and their responsibility. Because it it their business, it becomes more than just temporary, it has a promise the he will make money if he just keeps following those who have succeeded. He won't be fired or laid off from his own business.

Your own attitude will help. Counsel him as a business consultant, not as a parent or boss. Give him a sense of being free to make the decisions even while you are teaching him to duplicate yourself.

What is the difference between a business and a hobby? Google defines "hobby" as an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure.

Well, we have here at SFI many distinct groups of affiliates. I'm going to discuss two groups here. We have those who have a source of income other than SFI that they must attend to daily or in other time consuming schedules; and a group of people who may or may not have another source of income, but who do not have to report in to a job, i.e., the jobless and the retired.

The Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America, our tax agency, makes a distinction between a legitimate business and a hobby business.It is very important how one is rated as to how the taxes are prepared and how much is paid to the government. The legitamatr business gets many more breaks than the hobby business .Ask your PSA what his purpose is for building a business.

So there is a big difference between the two. But at SFI, we can get a bit confused here. Most of us love it. We spend much of our leisure time doing it. Because we know it can take 3-5 years to build, we tend to not push toward completion of an active team and our success. And here is one area that our IRS has an issue with. If we are serious about our business, they allow us only 3 out of 5 years to claim a loss. We must work with a purpose and a deadline, or goal in front of us.

It is wise for sponsors to fully explain all of the different income streams plus the various extra incentives that are within our reach. Don't just copy and paste this information, but take each part and lay it out on the table and put monetary figures on each example. Show them that the payments begin very small, but as they become more skilled at this work, they will make money. Show them what leveraging will do for them.

Show them they can find money to invest by purchasing their needed items from TripleClicks and the ECAs, transfer buying. Show them they can use the purchases of their PMs and ranks of their PSAs to earn their own vps.

Show them that there is nothing wasted at SFI, every page, report, method is important for their success. Explain the importance of goals and help the set useful goals. Then cheer them on when they meet them and prod them a little when they are lagging.

Keep their eyes fastened on the importance of being serious about their business even while they enjoy doing it.

What is meant by the second month is actually any month that follows the near completion of the To Do List when there are not enough action VPs left in the To Do List that will, by being added to the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly actions add up to the coveted 1500 VP required for EA and EA2. It happens to all of us. We do what we need to do to get around that bump. Most of us simply buy some products from TripleClicks. Or sell some. Or have PSAs who have earned their EA and go on to earn the EA2 and we get 100 VP for each of those.

When we have an affiliate who claims to not have the finances to buy anything from TripleClicks, we can accept that at face value, no money at all for anything, or we can look at it a bit differently.

How many of us know people locally who claim to not have any money, but still buy gasoline for joy-riding in their car, or buy cigarettes and smoke the whole pack each day, or instead of drinking their household water, buy soda and drink that? And then there's buying a new set of shoes when you already have ten pairs or going out to the movie theater instead of watching the video at home? You get the picture. They have money for what they want to spend it on, but not for building this business. Why? They have no trust in the business or in their ability to succeed.

That's what we have to deal with, their insecurities with the business and with themselves. You must build them up, convince them that they have what it takes, and that the business has what it needs to allow them to succeed if they follow your guidance and leadership.

Show them that they will be able to build their business, team, and commission if they buy their staples and wants and needs from TripleClicks and spent more of their time advertising and recruiting or referring instead of chasing the free VPs.

If your affiliate truly does not have funds, then you must encourage her or him to sell something, have a sale, or get a part time job and then ear-mark that money for SFI use only. For many people that will be harder to do than getting the money in the first place.

For the most part, if a person is not interested in playing games, you can not do anything to interest him into doing it. But there are plenty of people that are interested, your job is just to find them and introduce them to TripleClicks Eager Zebra Games.

Advertise, advertise, advertise. Anywhere gamers hang out online and off. No pressure or hard sell. Just tell them where to find the games and how fun they are and the prizes.

Because of human nature, we must do all we can do to fight negativity. Because most people on the outside do not have a true understanding of SFI, our new PSAs often are discouraged by their friends and loved ones to do this business. Because of what other companies have done, people suspect SFI of being crooked. Negativity abounds in the uninformed world around our PSAs.

Therefore it is necessary to prepare yourself as a sponsor and as a team leader to deal with negativity before you have sponsored even one affiliate. Oops, too late, you say? Then start right now.

Build a circle of positivity around yourself. Start with your profile photos both at SFI and at other web sites. Look at what you are using now. It should be a current photo of you, not your child, spouse or dog. Some photos are clear, have good lighting, and show your facial features like a passport ID. But there is no smile, friendliness, or personality showing. And some are so shaded that your face can not even be seen, or blurred because of bright sunshine. And look at your clothing. Are you dressed too formal or too informal? Do the colors grab attention?

You want their first impression of you to be as one they can trust, someone who will treat them in a friendly way, and someone who is comfortable with this business.

Next look at both of your welcome letters, the one they get VP for reading from the To Do List, and the one you personally send out as a separate personal email. If your routinely send out a follow-up to your private welcome, then look at that one, too. You are looking to edit these letters so they will be upbeat, full of hope but not promises, and generally leading them into a positive attitude. They will duplicate you. So always send positivity down to your team members. Take every opportunity to send praises down to your team.

Any negativity on your part must be sent only to your upline. There is a solution for every question and problem. Your upline will teach you how to find it.

Answer all questions that your team asks as quickly as possible. Don't let them have time to think negative thoughts about your leadership. Different words can say the same thing but show different emotions. Always use uplifting words that bring good feelings as they are read.

Eventually, those affiliates who persevere will take on positive attitudes and you will find that the team is easier to lead.

So, can you become successful in SFI without spending any money towards your business?

You can read many Forum posts and ASK SC answers about how to earn EA without spending any money. And you can read and believe that you can build your business bigger than EA2 without spending any money, but what are you sacrificing by not spending any money?

Becoming successful at SFI is more than becoming EA or EA2. It's more than earning $1.00 a month. It's maybe even more than $1000.00 a month. In SFI total success involves duplication which leads to leveraging time and thus to residual income. Anything less than that is not a lasting success. It can fall apart the minute you go into the hospital, etc.

If you have money to spend, don't play games with your future to see if, or prove you can, become successful without spending anything. It will take much longer to build a team if you do not do some sort of payment for advertising. You can do it, but you must advertise often and never give up if the sign ups are slow in coming and slow in building their business. Advertising for free takes a lot of time and knowledge and practice.

Start by writing up a month long grocery list of things you normally buy every month or so. While buying these products will benefit your business, it can not be said that you are investing in your business. You would be spending this money anyway

Technically, when you engage in transfer buying, the money you give to TC is not being spent on your business. But it is helping bring your business closer to success and you are laying down a wise path for your team to duplicate. And you will begin to gather SVP and MRP that will benefit you and your business.

As you use these products, you will decide which you like well enough to advertise. When you are responsible for selling products, you will be rewarded for those sales by being given a commission.

Doing business is not just taking in money. It's a two way deal. In order to take in money, you must provide products or services. For it to become a business and not just a one time only affair, you must provide products and services on an on going basis.

The products that you must provide can be found at TripleClicks, or you can become an ECA. In either event, those products must be sold and bought by someone. Selling TC Direct products or other ECAs' products allows you to sell without investing in keeping the products in stock.

There are also services found in this group also, but they are different than the services you must provide in a successful business. Your services must comprise of maintain, gathering, training and encouraging new recruits.

Without spending any money, it is very difficult to find rewards to give your team members for work well done, and for team contests. Remember, they will duplicate your actions. If you do not support the total SFI program, then you are not supporting your sponsor, and your PSAs will not support you. A 3 to 5 star rating does not bring you any money, it only let's you get what you deserve in commissions and other rewards.

As a new affiliate, I advise that you first get to know the business . Work on your To Do list and the red tabs on your Home page. Most people say that your goal is to become an EA and then EA2. I say that if you have $500 for business expenses then you should plan your spending of it very wisely.

Balance your VP from Action Your To Do List and the red tabs with the number of Sales VP to make it to BTL. This will get you a good share of second home CSAs to begin your team. Each month you are BTL you will get a share of them. Your goal for BTL will require you to earn 3000 VP, 2000 VP can be from sales.

Keep in mind that any products that you buy from TripleClicks for your own use should come out of your regular household or personal budget with the shipping coming from your business expenses.

But in the first months, you will need to buy 125 TCredits ($36.25, 8 MRP, 1500 SVP) and use them to earn 125 AVP and 650-125 MRP, approximately 500 AVP for the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Add to that a share of S Builders co-op ($24, 280 SVP, 5 MRP), a pack of Gift Cards ($29.70, 100 SVP,5 MRP, 300 AVP when all are passed out in a month)

This will give you 1880 SVP and 425 AVP + 100 AVP (For a standing order of 1500 or more). This adds up to 2405 VP. Add that to the approximately 500 AVP from the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and you only need to do about 100 AVP from your To Do List.

Since you will want to learn as much as possible, you probably will want to do more of your To Do List than that in the first one or two months, so you might order the gift cards and only pass out what you need for that month and alternate months that you order the gift cards with ordering x-Cards.

You should begin right away to learn how to use free ad sites and use them for a few months before you pay for any except the S Builder co-op.

Don't be afraid to change your Standing Order, just keep it at 1500 VP or above or you lose the extra 100 AVP.The full order will cost $89.95 if set up as a standing order plus shipping of the Gift Cards unless you order the digital cards.

This plan will bring in 40-80 CSAs, plus maybe around 5 PSAs from S Builders, another one from the Bid & Build, 12 TCredits for being BTL, a good handful of MRP, and a good start at advertising and telling your friends and family about SFI.

The wonderful thing about internet marketing is that you are not confined to your own locality anymore. You can advertise and sell anywhere in the world that your product is legal and of use. Our new product, Privacy Maxx, is a product that is only at this time suited for use in the USA.

But that will not stop the enterprising salesman from selling it. One must focus on the susceptible market in the USA by advertising where US residents who need protection are likely to be looking for the products they need.

When you have chosen your venue, and target market, choose your ad content. If you are not STL as yet, you will be limited to using the ad material written by SFI. Find banners, text ads, and flyers in the Marketing Aids section.

If you are qualified to write your own ads, write them in English and send to SFI for approval. If you are targeting US citizens, make sure the ads will appear in English. If you are targeting a local group of non-English speaking people, use their language in their own local media.

Make sure you are using the url for the product with your own SFI ID# embedded into it.

While job fairs will attract hundreds of people looking for a job (first job, second income, better job, etc.), it is a bit risky setting up a table and pushing an affiliate, work at home business. You are investing time and money to be there, but your targeted market is not likely to be there? The ones being served by a job fair are there looking for a traditional job, with all of the drawbacks that we see i a job.

But if you can get their attention and make arrangements for future contact, then you havea chance to gain a convert.

Be fully prepared before you go to either a job fair or stake out an area in a business setting such as a shopping mall.Have total knowledge about your subject, SFI or TC.Have all the x-Cards, post-cards, brochures, a computer and a slid show if possible. Have a big banner, professionally made Be well groomed and wear clothing suitable for an office. Borrow the clothes if you don't have nice business clothing.

Make sure you have your reservation, that they understand what you will bw "selling", and that you have paid the required space fee.

You may be speaking with several groups of job seekers, those for heavy labor and factory, service providers, and lower level executives. Do not treat them the same, other than with respect, they have different expectations in their search for a new job. Many will not understand that you are not offering a job, but an opportunity for financial freedom.

Do not get stuck in a long discussion with one person. You will not want to spend all your time on one person while others wait a few moments and the go on to the next table. Instead say just enough to get his interest and make him need to hear more.Then get his contact information and ask if you could call and set up an appointment to discuss it further.

Do not forget that the people at the next tables are also listening and may be looking for what you offer. If you are at a flea market, craft show, or special inetrest meet, you will also want to carry marketing aids for iur ECA Program as all of the tables will be manned by sellers of goods.

Why isn't he getting as much out of SFI as he is putting into it? Find out. Ask him. Use this check list and then have a discussion with him.

1) Is he unwise in his spending?
What is he spending his money on that he considers as investments? Is he only buying TCredits and playing the auctions? This will not advance his business to the point that he will get anything but auction wins. The business itself will not pay him until he makes sales and has an active team that makes sales and purchases.
Is he buying PSAs from sources from sellers who are looking for quick profits, without knowing what the PSAs were required to do in order to get paid for their click?
Is he doing transfer buying and regarding his personal use purchases as investments?

2) Is he not doing all the work he needs to be doing?
Is he doing his own advertising, everyday?
Is he doing follow-ups after making the first contact?
Is he communicating and training his team?
Is he logging in everyday, completing his To Do List every week?
Is he maintaining EA2 and striving for BTL? Or is he failing to build up his CSAs?

3) Does he have a solid business plan written out? With long term goals written along with the short term goals and the steps needed to fulfill them

4) Does he have a big dream or need that will propel him through the time it will take to bring his business to maturity? Will he give it time?

These are all things to consider when your affiliate comes with doubts about the business. What you put in is what you will get out of it if you are wise, hard working, and willing to do what it takes for as long as necessary. But what he puts in may not be what he needs to put in, or as much as he needs to put in.He has to see that.
