There are some great ideas here and we need to be sure that those who can not afford purchases or advertising get here and read it.
First. SFI is great because you can not buy your status. You can make purchases and you can make EA by your standing order or other purchases. But you can not buy yourself into advancement. That is a GOOD thing. Only 2000 VP can be applied to advancement from direct purchases.
There are so many "programs" out there where you buy your position and you wind up with a house of cards that gets blown down. Your downline rolls up and disappears as fast as you built it.
To advance in SFI you must be engaged in activities that promote your business. SFI motivates us to the right actions to build a solid sustainable business. This is a VERY GOOD thing. So, someone who can afford to buy his position is not significantly advantaged over the one who can not.
Advance your position in SFI by working. Engage in all the daily, weekly and monthly activities. Don't miss those points. Don't forget to enter into the WIN IT! Everyday!
Now you need to finance your business. Every business needs financing. The question should not be, "How do I do it with out financing?" The question is How do I get the financing I need?
You can not run a business without investment - You can't. The investment may be small, it may be slow in coming, but you must invest. So where do I get the money?
1. Look around the house. Find some used things gathering dust and list them on Triple Clicks. One of my PSAs Sold two Thai Language books and two sets of greeting cards and made $9.00. They then invested the $9.00 in an Ad campaign and ran it for 4 hours and recruited 8 PSAs.
2. Get to know the ECAs in your country and take money from something you already buy and buy it at Triple Clicks. I have encouraged all My PSAs who live here in Thailand to buy New Years Gifts on Triple Clicks.
3. SAVE. We say we have no money and what we often mean is we do not want to spend it here. I run contests to help my PSAs. What I just started yesterday was "A Deal" for every PSA I recruit for you via a co-op, you set aside $2.00 into your marketing Budget. Once you reach $10.00 then buy a campaign that I can assure you a positive response.
4. Speaking of Marketing Budget do you have one? Make one. Begin to invest in yourself.
5. ECAs! What I have done is recruited 2 new ECAs (not finalized so we will see) using the new Gift Card strategy. For my local PSAs I am giving out Gift Cards that they can give to potential ECAs. They tell the ECA not use the card personally. But sign up as an ECA, set up their store then send one card each to 10 customers to come and try their new site. I say it is not finalized because right now the Gift card is a promise, I have not received them yet.
6. Review the new products, and new ECAs regularly. Use the share button to send a friend the link info on items in TC. Try to send a TC promotion once a day everyday.
7. Take some valuable electronic material (not junk) and translate it to your local language. Then post it for sale to your local population. Friend all Affiliates in A2A that live in your region, or are from your region. Promote your "native Language" material to them. Especially if you can sell it for 1 TC so they can take advantage of the 25VP for review.
