Absolutely not! When an affiliate first signs up, they have no downline to work with at all. By becoming a TL right off the bat, they are guaranteed at least 50 - 60 CSAs to work with and possibly many more. They also get a load of TCredits to use in the Pricebender Auctions and the Eager Zebra Games.
Besides, when a person first joins the business, they can easily score 1500 VP or more just doing the items on the To Do list without spending a penny. A major enticement to going on standing order is that it will immediately boost an affiliate from EA up to Team Leader Bronze. It also gives them 125 TCredits assuming they get the 125 TCredit package for $36.25.
But, there is no need to stop there. The first day they can win an extra 200 VP just for earning 500 VP. In the first ten days in the business, they are allowed to buy up to five NMPs at a cost of only $100. That will give them 250 VP Action for Fast Track + 3 CSAs. It will also give them 65 CSAs, 30 Daily Grand Entries, 150 Daily Crown Entries, 2500 VP Sales, 10% more on matching VP, 250 TCredits, plus it will elevate the affiliate to TL Silver where he or she will get 2 shares of CSAs (100 - 120). The affiliate will also get 1000 MRP and 50 Express tokens!
Combined with standing order of 125 TCredits, that affiliate would have 4000 VP Sales + at least 2000 VP Action. This will put them at the TL Gold Level. With another 500 VP Action, they are brand new TL Platinums. With all the CSAs accumulated, and absolute minimum of 265 CSAs to establish a firm foundation for their business. They would also have 375 TCredits to play with plus 18 more the next month. That would mean at least 375 VP for helping them go TL Platinum or to use the following month.
If you are totally the cost up, that is $136.25 to go TL Platinum with a downline team of over 265 businesses. Why in the world would you want to discourage anyone from doing that? Sure, their initial income wouldn't that great, and they might drop back a level or two the following month, but their business would be super charged and moving on.
