Interesting question and there will be many views by many people......I would like to share my experience too. For me the personal invitation to grow a second income gateway worked very effectively and i have a cause for it....
1. It gives my name on my referral page which is very personalized and very effective to convince someone.
2. It has listed the best points SFI has in it including the 15 yr experience, ECA program, 72000 TC products available to make money etc.
3. The best part is all are listed so nicely point wise using bullets that one will understand the program once he see the page.
4. A very interesting growth curves makes it really special. It shows how fast the system growing from year.
5. One more excellent part is covering the Facebook and Twitter fan page. That makes a great sense to me as it shows the huge popularity of the business.

How do you motivate your team to get and stay active with SFI?

To get success in SFI , It is very important to keep your team motivated while they are facing the real struggle in team building. There are some ways i follow to motivate my team and it has worked for me. Hope they will work for you
1- Motivational mail: We know weekly team mail is a great tool to keep connect with your down line. I use this tool to send them some great motivating story with some quality tips attached to motivate them. Many time they reply, so it works
2- Rewards: Conducting reward program for down line is the best way to keep them motivated. Usually, People respond to this method maximum.
3- Personal Contact: When i saw someone is working hard and suddenly stopped, i step in immediately to inquire what is the problem. This gives them huge support and encouragement.
4- Forum: There are some great posts in forum. I redirect them to go through. In this way they talk with other SFI member and never feel they are the only struggled ones.

What are the best ways to get AVP (Action VersaPoints)?

Well!! There are many ways to generate action versa points (AVP) easily. But as you wish to know the best ways, I would like to advise few selected and more preferable ones over others.
1. Team Support: Undoubtedly this is the best way to generate AVP. You can gen unlimited number of AVP from here and you never have to do that by yourself once you trained your affiliate how to achieve at least EA status every month. This is the major part of the AVP generated by every team leader. You can get 100 VP for sponsoring EA2, 150 for BTL, 200 for STL, 250 for GTL and 300 PTL.
2. ASK SC: Another great way to generate unlimited VP. There is no limit and at least 10 questions are available to make AVP. If you have knowledge you can certainly make 100 AVP for each answer you give. The best part is, you just submit your answer and forget about it. You will be notified when you make to the top. Also, after expanding the number of winners to 12, the chances are huge for you to make AVP with it.
3. TRipleClicks Games: Certainly a fun way to generate AVP. You can play time machine , download music and make 1 VP everyday. This gives you a chance of winning some great amount of TC in contests too.

For SFI affiliates, what is the most overrated activity...and what is the most underrated activity?

Success in SFI is really a combination of many balanced activities. But we depending of our choice made some of them over rated and some of them under rated. As of my observations, here are the activities i would rate as over and under rated
1. Team building has been the most over rated activity at the moment. Because it is the free activity at the moment. Also it is so called the success path in MLM businesses.
2. Also, i fell PriceBender Auction one of the most over rated activity. The maximum number of members are really enjoying it. Also a excellent fun place
3. Among the under rated activity, I really cant find much. But still i feel a2a member benefit is not best utilized.

How can you offer financial support to a hard-working PSA/CSA who is truly financially challenged?

Congratulations !!! Good to see you have decided to help the hard working team members. There are so many ways to help your hard working PSA/CSA financially. I will just figure out the best ones.
1. Gift Certificate: If you think some of your PSAs are working hard to build a team. Able to generate ECAs,PRMs or sales but not able to reach the status of EA or TL to maximize their earning, You can send them few dollars as rewards of their achievement. It will be useful to them in building their SFI Business and so as yours.
2. Co-op: This is one of the strongest way to reward affiliates. Everybody in SFI knows how hard it is to generate new affiliates. If you can run a co-op for the hard working guys at no cost to them, It will be a great financial reward on long term basis. It will keep them encouraging towards team building.
3. TCredit: This is also a powerful financial help. I have seen affiliates purchasing a 100 or 125 TC pak and jump in to the auction. They jump into the auction with this many credits because they do not have more money to purchase them. Why not support them with some 50-100 TCredits so that they can jump into the auction more confidently and start winning.

Has anyone used Skype or other video chat service with their team members...and was it effective?

Yes. Its a very useful way. Not only Skype but also FB video chat and Google Video chat helped me a lot. Similar to Video Training, Video chat is more effective. I can add few points why it is so.
1- The prospect see a live person in front speaking about the opportunity. This generates faith of a legal job
2- The happiness or the facial expression of the people in chat gives us a good idea of the importunity. If you are clever , you can easily observe whether the sponsor is happy with it or not.
3- If you are seeing the prospect is having some doubt in some particular point you can make him more clear.
4- The most importantly i can show my prospect nicely on my white board how it works.

What's the difference between being an SFI affiliate and having a traditional business, and which is better?

There is absolutely big difference as of my concept.
1. In traditional business, you must have some products physically and can sell only locally. But In SFI, you do not need to have physical products. All the products are already available, you just need to refer someone to TC and the rest part is taken by SFI.
2. In traditional business, the number and variety of products are limited but in SFI, you get more than 98,000 products with completely wide variety. SO its makes it very easy to make sales.
3. In SFI, once someone signed up under you as PRM, he became your life time customer. Every time he makes a sale, the commission will be awarded to you. so you do not need to worry that he may not visit your shop again.
4. The most important benefit is, you never have to do promotion of your products to customers in TC. Once they sign up, TC will take care of promoting products at regular intervals to each of your customer.
So, for me SFI is a much better business than my Traditional one. Its your time to think now.

What is the best way to learn (after SFI training) about advertising using the internet when you are a complete novice?

Well, SFI training gives almost everything i guess and its really difficult to find something training after that. But i have some suggestion with my experience.
1- Implement each training you learned from SFI slowly in practical life. because life in practical gives better training than life in theory
2- Go to your sponsor and follow his special training which are out of SFI
3- Learn about where from most active affiliates come from with which type of advertisement.
4- Learn to observe the thinking of the person in front which gives a fair idea about his intention.
5- Learn to satisfy the front person with your business skill
