This is a good question! I think we all, as team leader, have been trying to prevent our team members from going inactive.
Many affiliates have reasons as, too busy, have to really work and/or learn, or not paid enough money.
Many never consider they are given a paycheck for no real work and have never looked at all the added perks as part of their income. Many are afraid of marketing, because they don't know what it is. I define marketing as advertising, because it is. You must let people know that you are in business and how it works, this is advertising.

Here are some things for you to consider doing:

COMMUNICATE:

NOTE: It's important that you check new PSA & CSA for their language. You can find their language in the message you receive about your new affiliate. If it is not English, contact them in their language or they will not stay with SFI, because they will not know what to do.
Always welcome your new PSA & CSA. Personally, I like to use the E-Cards for this and then
follow up with an e-mail. The e-mail will let you know the new affiliate has given a correct e-mail address. Many sign up with a false e-mail address because, they know they will not come back.
I believe many sign up to see what SFI is.

Make sure to send group mailings to your team every week with new information.
Some important information for New Affiliates is:
1) SFI is not a Get Rich Quick program, but has been around since 1998 and growing everyday.
2) Yes, SFI is a marketing company. What is marketing? It is advertising your business.
3) SFI gives, for FREE, 2 websites, training courses, and tools to market/advertise their business.

4) Giving them step by step instructions as doing the Start, Basic, LaunchPad, and then doing their
daily actions (the red tabs across).

Sending a group mailing each week to your full genealogy may overwhelm them.

1) To all the new PSAs & CSAs on your team.
2) To all the Movers on your team.
3) To all the Red Flagged members on the team. This means that they will be purged within 45
days or less. Try to encourage them to come back by explain what they can do to start

It is difficult to convince many PSAs and CSAs to work their SFI business even though we have many free tools and are given training to become an expert. There are many reasons for this that must be addressed right away.

The Myths

1) It's a "Get Rich Quick" On Line Business.
* SFI is a legitimate business that is in it's 16th year.
* SFI is a longtime member of the Better Business Bureau
* There are affiliates in over 200 countries

Good question Gordana,

I believe it depends on your situation and how you present your new business.

If this is the first time you are working an internet marketing business, your family and friends may be interested in what you are doing. Don't be surprised to find that many you know, have had an experience in marketing.

The positive is: If those you know are looking for extra income and willing to become an affiliate or to check out your TripleClicks website.

The negative is: If your family or friends had a bad experience, had gotten discouraged, or were not successful. They may start trying to discourage you.
Many people don't want others to be successful if they weren't.

I find it easier to sign up strangers by advertising SFI on websites where people are looking for a job or extra money.

As you probably know, many people join SFI just wanting a paycheck like they are working a regular 9 - 5 job. They don't understand or are not willing to work as a business owner.

Being a brick and mortar business owner, I know you must work your business everyday.
No days off, even when the business is closed. There's always something to do like cleaning and stocking!

This is what working your internet business is and how you will become successful.

You can never guarantee what people will do.
There is no way to make your PSA or CSA do anything they don't want to.
Be honest about what SFI is and how to work the business.
Here are some ideas of what to explain to your new PSA/CSAs.

GREET NEW PSA OR CSA
1) Send an E-Card through SFI
2) Personally, I follow up with an e-mail on what needs to done daily.
3) This will make sure your affiliate has received a message from you, if not been

Although you never have to invest in SFI, it is a good idea for people to invest something.
If they start a regular business, not only would they have to invest in the business,
but pay rent, utilities, supplies, insurance, employees, extra taxes, accountant, advertising, etc.
I have sent my team a mailing on "How To Maintain EA (Executive Affiliate) With $30 or Less"
I do this by explaining that you MUST show up daily to work their business.

By doing this you will receive:

*1) DAILY ACTIONS

Taking Survey = 1 VP/day x 20 = 20
View Latest Items On TripleClicks = 1VP/day x 30 = 30

1) Many affiliates don't read and rate the questions on Ask SC, missing VPs and entering the Daily Grand. I find many don't read the Forum or Alerts either.
I believe this because of not understanding the written English. Using the translator at the bottom of each page on SFI and TripleClicks or the Google Chrome Speak can resolve this. You can find the Chrome Speak at:

2) To Rate the Ask SC questions, open the "Go" button. Now read and rate "Yes or No".
If your answer is one of the top 10 on Ask SC questions, you can receive from 25 - 100 VPs.

3) By completing your weekly tasks, as sending group mailings, posting 3 stream messages each week, and reviewing your T-Connect page you will receive more action points.

4) Having your Standing Order in place for at least 1500 VPs will give you 100 Action Versa Point.

5) You will receive action points for Tripleclicks games, as Pricebenders Auction, Eager Zebra Games, and Music downloads.

6) Listing items on your TConnect page. (Note: if you are an ECA you do not get action points, but there is no cost.)

7) Installing TripleClicks banners to your Website or blog, setting up an advertising co-op, reassigning affiliates, and distributing TripleClicks gift cards.

8) Applying for an Payoneer debit card

9) You receive action points for PSAs that qualify for EA2 or higher rank.

10) Reassigning affiliates that have 500 VP or higher in the last 90 days.
