How do you motivate your downline to spend money monthly to maintain EA status without sounding greedy?

By doing so yourself and then in your weekly TeamMail, talk about the success you have achieved. And by not being an EA you would not have achieved it.
Simply said that would be the the free CSAs you get every month. Granted that it is only 2 CSAs but that's more than zero which will help you towards your Team Leader activities. Plus whatever your CSAs buy, you will get Co-Sponsor Commissions. I'm sure you don't want to lose out on that.
What else can you get? Obviously the TC Executive Pool. What's that? Every item being sold in TripleClicks has a CV value. And 40% of the CV is being placed into the TC Executive Pool which will be shared with all EAs company-wide! Cha-ching! More income to you.
There you go. You talk about the benefits to them. Nothing greedy in that right? You want them to succeed.

How important is it to read the latest SFI news...and how does this apply to building your business?

If you have a business, don't you want to keep up with the latest trends? Likes and dislikes of your customer base?
It is definitely no good if you are talking about SFI but the facts coming out of your mouth are 2-3 years old. In fact, this year, SFI has made a lot of changes in the first quarter of the year already. So if you haven't been reading up on the news, you might not know it.
Granted that you may notice the changes when you log in but the rationale behind all the changes you might have missed and these rationale sometime might just be what a prospect needs to hear to be convinced to join SFI.
And if you own a website, it is even more important to read the SFI news. You don't want your website to talk about old facts and figures right?

How can I best utilize my monthly Standing Order of TCredits?

First of all, use it to participate in the Time Machine contest. You can participate only once daily so that's already 30 TCredits. If you win, you get much more than 30 back (I mean look at the previous winners announcements)
Second, participate in Pick The Price. I usually decide how many I want to participate daily. It is usually around 5 daily. That's actually about 150 TCredits already, but I once won more than 100 TCredit in Pick The Price, so I think you get it back.
Thirdly, participate in Pricebenders. Choose the First win Auction coz the heavy hitters won't be there. Choose the Double MRP auctions coz if you don't win, at least you get 10 MRP each bid and those MRPs can be used to buy items from TripleClicks.

My relationship with SFI and TripleClicks?
Simple. SFI is my business and TripleClicks is my store.
SFI and TripleClicks is a symbiotic relationship. I think SFI works better because of TripleClicks. How many affiliate programmes have you come across that sells only one thing and that you are supposed to promote that one thing to others too? Well with SFI, you will be able to target your promotion. And that's why it works.
Not everyone can do everything. A person maybe good in one thing but not good in another. With SFI and TripleClicks there's Games to play, Auction to participate in, Sales to make, Products to sell, etc. You choose what you think you can do best.
And expanding as you go along obviously will increase your income some more!

Of SFI's available marketing aids, which are the best to use?

Personally I have a website which I use to talk about SFI and TripleClicks, so I use a lot of banners. So in the case of banners, the best one I feel is the one on TripleClicks which you can choose which product to showcase and choose which currency to display.
But overall, I think the best marketing aid are the ones where you don't have to do anything much. These are like the SFI cap (just put it on your head everywhere you go), the SFI, Eager Zebra or TripleClicks T-shirt, the mouse pad, the cell phone pocket, the TripleClicks portfolio and the TripleClicks power bar.
Just use it everywhere you go and wait for people to ask you about it. Then whip out your X-card and start your sales pitch.

What is the role of the TripleClicks Executive Pool in the compensation I can earn with SFI?

Wow....there is so many ways you can look at the Executive Pool.
1) A way to get your feet wet. I say it this way because when I was a newbie I didn't know how to market or advertise so I concentrated on the Executive Pool. I was happy to see the commissions I got from all my activities. Although it was small, it tells me that SFI is for real.
2) Promoting activity. If 1500 VPs got me so and so USD, 3000 VP would double that, right? So I got right to work to double that commission. And to get 3000 VPs, I need to do a lot more, like sponsoring and selling.
3) Promoting sales. I read in the Forum once (sorry I forgot who originally posted it). If no sales were made, then the Pool would be small. And a small amount being shared with a large number of people would not be so nice. So we need to make sales (NOT purchases!) to fill up that Pool so that one share in the Pool would be worth more in commissions.
So if each affiliate really understands the Executive Pool, I think we would automatically get more active people.

Do they trust you? Have you developed trust in your team? Trust is important so they'll know that what you are promoting is for the good of the team, and not just yourself.
Now when you promote your ECA, don't just get them to buy your products or sell your products to others. Also promote to them the benefits of becoming ECA themselves. You can say something like:
"This is my ECA link. Please take some time to browse through to see if anything catches your eye. See something that your friends might need? Send them this link but don't forget to put your SFI ID in it so that you will be credited with commissions on any sales. Want to have a store of your own? Why not become an ECA yourself? The benefits are........." and so on.
Don't do this too often though, then it would really seem like you are only promoting your ECA store for yourself. Intersperse your communications with them on other aspects and benefits of SFI, or tips to succeed with SFI, etc.

What's best to sell at TripleClicks? Cheap things or more expensive/more valuable items?

In my personal opinion, everyday things you need in your kitchen is the best item to sell in TripleClicks. Why? Because we always talk about tranfering your spending from brick and mortar store to TripleClicks. And what better way to do this "transferring" than with items that we nornally stock up monthly?
And it doesn't matter if we have duplication in TripleClicks because our affiliates are from all over the world. We can have various ECAs selling the same kitchen towels but remember they are probably targeting their own country with an item that inexpensive and not having to charge extravagant shipping fees which might deter buyers anyway.
Hope I don't confuse people with the way I write. English is not my first language.

How do I get my affiliates to understand the amazing opportunity offered by SFI?

Understanding takes time. Therefore you have to be patient.
First understand your affiliates. Learn what they are looking for when they registered with SFI. Then find out what they know about money making online. What I mean by this is what preconceptions do they already have.
Only then you can start explaining one by one how SFI can help them with what they are searching for. I'm sorry I can't be more specific than this, because each person's wants and needs are different.
Perhaps they wanted easy money and thought that it can be achieved. Maybe they have friends who talked about clicking for money and making thousands. Maybe they thought all this happened overnight. Once you know what they think they know, then only you can start teaching them about what SFI has to offer.

What is your advice to those who want to pursue this business but have limited time to invest into it?

This is your business. To succeed you have to treat it like a fulltime business, not a hobby. But that said, you do not have to spend the whole 8 hours daily on it if you work smart.
All you need to do at first is to login and collect your daily VPs. That doesn't take too long. 30 minutes at the most and I do it during my breakfast time using my smartphone before I switch on my computer to do my 9 to 5 job.
Then around lunchtime I login again to look at the auctions and see if there is anything interesting for me to bid on. Usually it is the PSAs and CSAs that I target for. We need to build our business, right? Lunctime is usually the time I do my weekly and monthly activities for SFI too.
So when do I do my advertising? All the other times! While waiting for the public transport to go to the office, on the public transport itself, etc. Whether you use traffic exchanges, or safelists, or other ways of online advertising, with the smartphone, you can do almost anything.
Offline advertising, I wait for the weekends to do that. While doing my weekly grocery shopping I might see a kiosk with interesting items for TripleClicks. You know, stuff like that. After a while, you learn to see opportunities everywhere.
