How do I get the maximum benefits of being an SFI affiliate?

The maximum benefits are derived from recruiting prospects into the program, and developing them into Team Leaders.
We are all here to make money, and the most money you can earn is from the TripleClicks Executive Pool and matching VP.
40% of all commissions paid out by SFI go to this pool; the only way to share in this pool of money is to be an EA2 rank.
However, to receive the maximum benefits, you need to be a Team Leader yourself and develop a team of PSA's who at least reach EA2, and then follow you by developing their own team.
Once they can get to a Team Leader rank, and see the benefits that can be earned, they should want to continue developing their own team of Team Leaders.
Since the TripleClicks Executive Pool pays out down 14 levels in your downline, this is a huge benefit that you can have.

What's the best way to get new affiliates signed up without having to answer a lot of questions first?

The best way is to advertise as much as you can, telling the prospects SFI is free to join, and they can look around the entire site before they decide to continue.
Let the SFI site and the TripleClicks store speak for themselves, and when the affiliate has some questions, then you can answer them with your knowledge, or direct them to the part of the site that will explain things for them.
As Gery Carson says, let them kick the tires before they invest any money to see if the program is what we all know it is....the best one on the internet.

How do I convince someone to try SFI when they've had bad experiences previously with online businesses?
Scott Laing, Aff (Alberta, CA)

Trying to convince someone of anything may be an almost impossible task. I understand what you are trying to accomplish, but you will probably just get yourself more frustrated than if you just left them alone and moved on.
However, providing them with accurate information about SFI, and some testimonials from yourself, your sponsor maybe, or perhaps your upline would be a good start at showing someone how good this program is.
Also, SFI has a proven track record since 1998, and it is one of the few programs out there that let you join for free and see the entire program before you spend of invest any money.
I would suggest that in those situations where someone is extremely skeptical, emphasise the free aspect of joining up and looking around the entire site. They have nothing to lose, and all the time in the world to research it for themselves.

Which is more effective--paid or free advertising--and why?
Scott Laing, Aff (Alberta, CA)

Affiliate since: 01/30/2010, Power Rank: 10
I believe paid advertising is best. There are many different options out there, but the main benefit I have seen is being able to target your advertising to try and attract those individuals who are willing to spend money.
Paid advertising also frees up your time to do other things, like communicating with your downline more often on a personal level, so that you can teach them the same things you are doing.
If you can afford it, paid advertising is the way to go.
What should new affiliates NOT do in their first month?
Scott Laing, Aff (Alberta, CA)

New affiliates should not ignore all the getting started actions and the Launchpad lessons that are provided free of charge.
They should also not forget to check out the SFI Basics tab and all the marketing information that is available to them, especially on how to get started if they are new to network marketing.
And they should not expect to make all kinds of money in their first month. This is learning process; they should not overlook the importance of reading all the materials that are available on the site to help them with building their business.

Why is setting goals so important in becoming successful in SFI?
Scott Laing, Aff (Alberta, CA)

Setting goals is very important to be successful in any endeavor you do, not just SFI.
Goals give you something to reach for; they should help keep you motivated to anything necessary to achieve them.
Without a goal, or goals, you will come up with following issues/problems:
1. How do I get started? With a goal of let's say, getting a 10 Daily Streak badge, you know what you have to do to reach that goal.
2. Is what I am doing working? If you don't have a goal, you will never know for sure. Suppose you set a goal of getting 10 new signups from your blog? If you didn't have that goal, you wouldn't know if you advertising as effective as you want it to be.
3. Why am I doing this? Ultimately, you must have a very definite reason as to why you want to something, like build a successful SFI business. With a very important WHY goal, it becomes more motivating for you to keep going. Such as providing an ongoing income for your children that they could inherit. A very large goal, but if it is important to you, the more work you will put into acheiving it.
Goals are not cast in stone; they can always be changed. But it is important to have them to know where you a going. Otherwise, you are just a follower; leaders have goals, and leaders are the ones successful in SFI.

When communicating with my downline, is it best to use the SFI email utility or my own email? What is the most effective?
Scott Laing, Aff (Alberta, CA)

When you use the SFI email utility, it also goes to the affiliates team mail, so you get the benefit of both. It is all I use, unless an affiliate sends me an email directly.
Using the SFI email utility at least every week also ensures you get the 30VP for sending weekly support messages to your downline.
Also, the SFI emails provides information at the bottom of each email regarding opting out provisions if an affiliate wishes to do that.
The SFI email utility covers all the bases when you want to make sure you are not spamming your affiliates.
Just make sure you don't do any cross solicititation....only links pertaining to SFI should be put in the emails.
Good Luck!

What is the best way to utilize my social media sites to recruit affliates and promote TripleClicks?

There are literally hundreds of groups on Facebook that you can request to join that are for entrprenuers just like us.
You can advertise Tripleclicks items or the SFI opportunity. If you have a custom domain to advertise, this works far better on Facebook.
I have generated hundreds of signups using the custom domain manager, and advertising in certain groups.
Search for groups in Facebook, and once you have joined a few and begin posting, you will find some admins will add you to other groups, and you can get more exposure.
Also, if you have a Twitter account, make sure you link it to your Facebook account. That way any status updates you make also get posted to your Twitter feed automatically.

Why does it seem like everyone who joins SFI think it's get-rich-quick?
Scott Laing, Aff (Alberta, CA)

It seems like all the offers out there on different traffic exchanges like to promote that you can make thousands of dollars in a week, or a month....maybe even a day.
And this is what a lot of people are looking for...little or no work/effort, and get paid a lot of money just for signing up.
Because so many people are making those kinds of promises, SFI gets painted with the same brush. It is obviously unfair to those of us who know better and are trying to recruit people into the business, but that is just how the online world seems to be these days.
So, keep on trying, and soon you will get some real people who are willing to put in the effort to build this home based business.

Never quit. The past does not equal the future. Whatever happened yesterday has no effect on what you can do today.
Set goals to achieve. If you don't where you need to get to, how will you get there?
Learn the program you are using...try to understand it completely so you can implement the strategies need to be successful.
Never stop asking questions, whether from your upline, or at a forum like this. Learn from people who have been successful.
Believe in yourself. You can be successful if you just apply yourself.
