When I read your question, an interesting picture popped into my mind. A hamster on his little wheel is working hard but he will never get anywhere no matter how hard he tries. A lot of people are like that hamster. They work hard but they aren't going to succeed because they aren't working smart. They may focus on the wrong thing or get bogged down by trying to do too many things at once. They think that they know the best way to achieve success and aren't willing to listen when someone tries to help them so even though they are working hard, they are like the hamster and his wheel - stuck in the same place where they started.
I think that you are working smart when you begin to learn by reading. I know a lot of people believe that they are saving time by not reading the instructions provided and then get frustrated when their way isn't working. Knowledge is power. It keeps you from making costly mistakes in both time and money. That is smart.
I think that you are working smart when you start out with a plan. I read a quote recently that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I realize that some plans need to be flexible because circumstances change.
I think that you are working smart when you realize that you will have setbacks and you will make mistakes. Use your mistakes by learning from them so that you don't repeat them.
I think you are working smart by asking for help when you need it. That is one reason that I like the Forum. There are always experienced affiliates who are willing answer your questions and provide you with support and encouragement.
I think that you are working smart by not quitting when things get tough. When I saw the changes that were implemented this month, I was discouraged. Then I thought about my reasons for joining SFI. The main reason that I joined was to earn money. That hasn't changed. I thought that SFI was the best way to earn that money and that hasn't changed either. I decided that what did need to change was my attitude. Now I ready to begin to work even harder but I am determined to work smarter.

When I first started in SFI my main focus was to learn as much as I possibly could about Internet marketing, advertising, and how to build a successful business. I had no marketing skills and was learning how to operate my IPad. I found everything confusing at first but I was determined to stick with it.
As I gradually learned more of the basic skills needed to achieve my goals, I gained confidence and that confidence was essential to change my focus to team building and duplication. I needed to be ready to be team leader so that my team would be successful. One of the main steps in preparing to build a team is to make sure to set the right example. Never ask your team to do something that you aren't willing to do. The changes that SFI has made this month should make it easier to attract more people who will be willing to work to achieve their bonuses. It will also provide incentive to team leaders to do more recruiting and to build their team through duplication.
I think that there is an exciting future for SFI and it's affiliates and I want to be a part of it so that is what my main focus is now!

Thank you for your question. I think that the first and most important habit that we need to develop is to realize that it is a business and to make our business a priority. The time, effort, and money that we invest in our business is important because it shows that we take our business seriously. It is not a hobby or something that we do just for fun, although we do enjoy the auctions and the games.
I think the next habit that we should develop is to log in every day. I have found that I accomplish more when I log in first thing in the morning. The to-do list is important, not only for the vp needed to keep my rank, but also for the information in the forum, the newsletters, and in ASK-SC. I also answer my email during this time. The time that I spend varies depending on the time of the month and my schedule. If I don't think that I have to log in every day and work at developing my business, how can I honestly expect my team to log in to SFI and conduct their own business? One important thing that I learned from my sponsor is to lead by example.
The next habit that we should develop is to read. Readers are winners. I have always loved to read but I have found my attention sometimes wonders if I am not careful so I have found it useful to take notes and to write down questions that occur while I am reading. This helps me to focus on what I am reading.
Try to learn at least one new thing every day. There is a lot of information available for SFI affiliates and it can seem overwhelming at first. Even after completing the Launchpad lessons, I still find that I still have questions so I will read them again and learn something that I missed on the first reading. The Forum and ASK-SC are valuable resources for learning.
Let your team know that you appreciate them and their accomplishments. Make sure that you are available to help them. You can't be a leader without a team. Your team is an important of your business because when they succeed, you succeed!
Be proud of being an affiliate of SFI. It has a long and proven track record. Take pride in your accomplishments and in achieving your dreams.

I am very enthusiastic over the new TripleClicks homepage! It is attractive, easy to use, and very professional looking. I have been giving family and friends TripleClicks gift cards and the feedback that I have received from them is all positive! Thank you for your question because I'm sure that all sponsors face this situation. When I first started I was one of the confused. ( very confused! ) when my sponsor tried to explain TCredits, VP, MRP, duplication, etc., I felt as though he was speaking a different language even though we were both speaking English. One of his best pieces of advice was to study my Launchpad lessons and to write down any questions that I had. He emphasized to write the question as soon as I didn't understand something because otherwise I might forget. I also took notes because when I write something down, it helps me to stay focused on what I am reading. I would contact him after I made the list and we would go over my questions. It worked. I started to understand what I needed to do to reach my goals.
I also learned a lot from ASK-SC and the Forum. I stress to my team that these are two valuable ways to learn more about SFI. I have heard people complain that reading the answers in ASK-SC is boring but it isn't to me. There can be as many different opinions as there are people writing them. I can honestly say that there has never been a day that I didn't find out something new at one or both of these resources.
I believe in reading. That means that take the time to read the information on my to-do list instead of just waiting for the tab to turn color. That means that I take the time to read the newsletters and emails because it keeps me up to date on the important changes and events that lately seem to occur daily. I can't be a successful leader without the knowledge that I need to lead. I can't clear up my team's confusion if I am confused because I haven't been paying attention to what is happening.

Each affiliate must have a plan and my plan is duplication so I use my T-credits to build my team. I bid in the auctions that offer me the best chance to build my business such psa's and csa's. I bid in the s-builder auctions and the subscription auctions. The Bid and Build feature is a bonus. You have to plan which auctions meet your needs and set a limit to the amount of T-credits that you are willing invest in the auction.
Another way to use your T-credits is in the games. I haven't won the Zackpot in CardKing but I have won T-credits and csa's. I won in Timemachine and my sponsor also won so I got a very nice thank you note from him. I have seen the benefits of having an active downline from my sponsor.

I like your question because I have been trying to get my members interested in TripleClicks. I come from a family of on line shoppers but I was having little success in getting to even look at TripleClicks. Then I won an auction where I received 90 Tripleclicks gift cards. Since I have some very thrifty family members, I knew that they wouldn't go to waste. I have had 3 family join Tripleclicks.
You may be wondering why I started my answer with telling you about family members joining and buying products from Tripleclicks instead of family members selling products. The reason is this: I believe that once they join and start buying and using TripleClick's products, they will tell others. You have more confidence in selling a product if you have used the product and had satisfactory results. You also have confidence in the company when you get good products at good prices and have received good customer service.

I learned to be a good sponsor by following the example of my sponsor but the only communication that I have had with my co-sponsor is her stream posts. I don't receive her newsletters. Because I have a fantastic sponsor, I haven't needed her help so I haven't contacted her.
I do send my CSAS a welcome message that includes my contact information and I do send them my weekly newsletters. If I receive a message from them, I reply promptly. I do want to help but I don't want to seem pushy. You are right in saying that it is a fine line but I don't want my CSAS to fall through a crack in that line and not receive the help and encouragement that they deserve.

I will tell you that when I started with SFI, I decided to take the money that I gain each month and reinvest it in my business to help my business to grow. I have never regretted that decision. Because we are on a limited income, I didn't have a lot of money to invest. This decision to use the money that I gained to grow my SFI business has paid off. It is the decision that works best for me and for my family.
