I haven't got a lot of advice from my upline except from one and that was about advertising. I realize that the key to growing and building your SFI business would be to sponsor new PSAs on a regular basis because it is the life blood of your business, but the thing that really concerns me is having the ablility to train and coach the new Associates when they do sign up. Most of us already have large downlines of "O" Versapoint Affiliates , both PSAs and CSAs , so my focus is more on coaching, motivating and leading my group than on advertising.

If you invest time and money in a lot of advertising and recruited thousands of affiliates in your business, would you be prepared to train, motivate and lead them? I've observed , read and listened to many who face the same problem with large numbers of people in their downlines doing nothing and are frustrated and wondering what can they do about it. I've also noticed that the people who are the greatest Leaders and Coaches seem to be the ones that are the most successful in SFI.

This is just my opinion and some may not agree with it, but I do know that most of us are in the business to become successful and build unlimited income.

One thing that was a great challenge and had me deeply concerned was how to keep your Affiliates motivated as you grow your Active Team.How many times have you seen affiliates in your group fall by the wayside and die off?.Some never get started and some get started and still quit.I experienced this a lot in my own group and decided as a Leader that I had to do something about the attrition rate.It is normal for most people to seek advice from family and friends, but they have to get beyond seeking advice or opinions from people who do not have what they want or desire out of life.I got past all of this and realized that I must step up and be the person to bring out the best in people and take them from point from A to point B..so I came up with some solutions to this problem.

1.When affiliates join my group, I have to be the one to encourage them.

I always let them know that they will working toward building a monthly residual bonus check and this is not a quick rich business.Some will have a problem with this,especially when their check seem so small starting out and they can be easily discouraged.They must be consistent,focused, be patient,have fun,and do the things necessary to get the right results.They have to be willing to follow instructions and allow me to coach and train them..so I you must first lead by example.

2.Affiliates must know how they get paid in this business which is a very important step! They have got to study the compensation plan. Most don't take the time to understand it,so I try to constantly communicate this to them.


Here are examples of what I will say to an Affiliate in my group to keep them motivated

1.Most people are always in a hurry, and never take time to figure out how to make real money in SFI. The business is so simple that is just flies right over their heads.They are looking for the catch or the easy way out so they drop out or never really get started, become so overwhelmed with all the things they see to do,feel that they have too much to read,or can't see how they can really make any serious money doing it! I'm not trying to be longwinded (smile).I want to help you be successful if you allow me to,and are willing to be coached. Always check out what all the other successful people are doing in SFI.

2.I'm here to assist you..so learn all you can to grow your monthly residual checks and be willing to make commitments.I also suggest that you thoroughly study the compensation plan so will know exactly how you get paid.You want to know what you should be working toward so you can get paid well. Remember that SFI is not a quick get rich business, but it is stable and if you do the right things to get results, you can have unlimited income. If you want to get started correctly on the road to building your residual income check,we have a plan to help you do that and stay on track!

I would get my downline to focus on duplication by helping them move and work collectively as a group. One of the greatest things you can do is instill in them to do the right things that get results. Encourage them to work diligently and stay active each month which is more important than anything else. They will learn all about the business as they go along because our entire training system is set up and established for everyone to automatically become successful.All they would have to do is be willing to tie into the system, take action and simply follow instructions. This is the process that I would teach and when everyone in our group follows the same objective, we all become very successful in SFI. Most people are not willing to do this and will lose patience and interest because it seems so simple and flies right over their head,thus making it more complicated than it really is.

How important is it to log in your SFI account each day and work your Daily to Do List?

This one activity alone will set the pace for your success because it is the cornerstone for all SFI members getting started out in the right direction. We talk about Versapoints, which is the designed system that SFI put in place to make things work properly in the business so we have to kindly adjust to this if we want to be successful....point blank.This activity will first teach you discipline because you are learning how to score points, and it keeps you active as you learn, study and build your business.It's all about gaining as many pts as you can each month and you will soon discover this as you continue to move around on your Versapoint Ledgerboard every day.The 11/21 plan,as I call it and for those not aware yet, is the fun easy way to be on the highway to success in SFI. When you work your red tabs every day, you will gain 11pts.Then rate your sponsor and get an extra 10 pts. At the end of the month you will have scored at least 340 pts.Of course we all know that making EA status is where we should be at the end of each month with at least 1500 Versapoints, minimum.The 11/21 plan helps you work toward achieving that.

Most of us would love to have everyone in your downline maintain this one activity.It would eliminate all of the 0 Versapoint PSAs and CSAs in your group and everyone would be on your Active Team because they would be logging in and scoring points each month. The light bell would finally come on because a person will stay focused and work toward growing their business with large numbers of people , getting results and being on target. As Leaders, you want to work, encourage , and help everyone in your group do this and continue to move up in their Versapoint Activity each month and then develop future EAs and Team Leaders..

Developing a strong team of active PSAs and CSAs each month is the key to success in SFI and getting everyone to duplicate this process is the real answer that I think most people in SFI are searching and looking for. It all starts with you first.

The whole idea behind using the Gift Cards would be to advertise and grow your business plus promote future sales.

I would give Gift Cards to prospects that I feel may eventually become a great customer or sign up as an SFI Affiliate.

I would also give some to my new PSA's and CSA's as an incentive to help them qualify for EA status.

My solution to get new PSAs to commit to SFI would be to help guide them if they allow me to be their coach.Once a new Affiliate logs in and score their 1st Versapoints, I begin my process. This is the beginning and it is important to get them started correctly.

When you log in your SFI Home Page and work your Red Tabs each day, you will gain 11pts. At the end of the month, you will achieve 330 pts to apply toward your monthly 1500 VP goal to maintain EA Status. We call it being on the 11/30 Plan and since this is the 3rd day of the month, you are off to a great start and could be up running smoothly if you acquire the discipline to do it!

As you work this plan each month and start to build your Active Team of PSAs and CSAs , you should teach them to do the same. This will help you grow your business and build a huge monthly residual income in SFI. Our business is not a quick get rich , but it is sound, reliable, and stable.

DECIDE.....COMMIT... JUST DO IT!

If they stay on your Active Team a few months and tie into the system , they will start committing to SFI. Results is what you want, especially if they maintain EA2 status and move up to Team Leader.

Skype is an innovative way to communicate with your Affiliates on a one on one situation or do a business meeting or presentation.

For some it works perfectly to be able to see and hear a person, especially those who learn better by this approach.Since all the training that SFI offers is set up by reading vasts amounts of material , Skype offers another quick but fast way for people to interact effectively using a visual aid tool.

Although I haven't actually used it, I do plan to and would recommend it if you feel it would work better for you.

Participating in Ask SC helps you to become a more successful affiliate because you will interact and learn a lot of things to help you build your business and stay on track.A lot people want to be successful and are looking for answers and the majority of the things you need to know, you will find them by reading. Most people spend countless hours writing letters to their PSAs and CSAs and get no responses,the majority of the time. I use to do this too, so I came up with a plan because I wanted results..

This plan works for me..

1.When a PSA that joins my group especially through the S Builder Co-op, I do not start writing to them until they get active. In other words,when points show on their Versapoint Ledger , that's when my letters start flowing. They have already received my automatic welcome introduction, right after they signed up. Then I copy their email address to my contact list an send them an email.

I use various letters, so here is an example of one..

2. When CSAs join my group...especially through reassignment , I automatically send a Group Welcome letter using the the Geneolgy mailer.

When a CSA gets active with Versapoints , again my email letters start flowing. I copy their email address in my contact list and send them an email.

I continue to write these type of letters consistently to all of my active PSAs and CSAs and my response rate has definitely increased. They write me back frequently and I have a connected a bond with them.

My best way to motivate my downline is thru communication. They must feel my genuine interest and concern first.

I give them praise on everything they do and make them feel special..and in most cases they are. These people are in my organization and it is my moral obligation to help them ..if they are seriously interested in making money and being successful in SFI. Then , I spend time working with the workers. They are already motivated because they are logging in their SFI home page scoring Versapoints and making an effort to work the business,so I piggyback off that. I let them know that I'm here to support and help them anyway I can.

I have also developed a plan to help them become successful, based on my knowlege and experience in the business, and I share it with them if they are willing to follow instructions and let me coach them. This works for me and the majority of the time, they are up and running after that.

Most affiliates need training and as their sponsor, I try to offer that to them. I'm concerned about doing the right things that get results and I teach that to my organization.

It is not a good idea to assign inactive affiliates to an active affiliate. Always assign your most active to another active. You want to keep the momentum going and build a strong downline. Soon, that downline will be growing fast on its own.
