How do I encourage an affiliate to remain active when they feel they've been demoted?

As we are building this business, a lot depends on our team members staying active. For whatever reason, some of them will rise up to EA2 and beyond only to suddenly disappear from action. This may cause us to temporarily lose rank, or get demoted. Like everything else, a person needs to shake it off and move on, sponsoring more. The people who truly want to do this business are out there. You just need to find them.

Just remind your affiliate that their success is not dependent on any

How can I set up an online seminar to train my affiliates...and what are some tips for successful online seminars?

SFI puts on the best training program imaginable, as far as I am concerned. Early on in the business I put an inordinate amount of time into assembling a step-by-step training program for the business, but what I found is that the business is so dynamic, much of the information I was providing was out of date a month or two down the road. It was a good exercise for my understanding of the business, but it didn't really help my downline. The solution wasn't adding more reading to the reading they

What's the biggest turn-off that I should avoid talking about to prospects for SFI?

There are quite a number of things that people get hung up on when being introduced to SFI. A lot of people think MLM (multi-level marketing) is something illegal like a ponzi scheme or a pyramid. If you can't explain how money is made in the system when someone asks, or if you can't handle the question, "How much money are you making in the business?" you lose immediately. A lot of it has to do with your posture. If you come across as begging a person to join you, that doesn't come across

My team has a negative attitude about SFI. How can I change it to a positive one?

First of all, you can't built a solid dynamic team on a negative foundation. My first suggestion is to find a positive team. If you have to recruit a whole new team, do it. Don't wait for your team to become positive. Chances are they won't unless you are willing to leave them in the dust with their negativity. Remember, you are looking for five or so people with a positive attitude, and they probably came into the business with that as well.

Trying to argue with negative people, and convince

There are a thousand and one reasons for joining and building the SFI business. Here are just a few:

1) It's free - even the training is free - there is no start up cost

2) The business works and you can earn while you learn

3) There's no more effective support system anywhere to help someone become successful

4) The business is fun and exciting

5) Everyone knows people who are struggling financially, looking for a way to earn extra income -

Is there such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much?

Yes, there definitely is such a thing as helping too much. You can't hand people success. They have to earn it. If you reward them for doing what it takes, that is motivational, but if you try to give someone something they didn't earn, it never works out. There is a good bit of struggle inherent in this business. It is through the struggle that we either find the strength and endurance to carry on, or we fold up shop, and give up on ourselves and our dreams. We might help fund an affiliate's Standing

How to get re-energized with SFI for the new year?

The New Year is a great time to re-energize ourselves by asking what else we could do to promote our SFI business. It's human nature to grow bored if we are not continually innovating, or somehow expanding our business. We can easily fall into the trap of doing the business mechanically, while our mind is left in park. Fortunately, the business is extremely dynamic, and most of us have to scramble just to keep up with all the changes. The new year is an opportunity to re-invent the way we do our

An affiliate logs in after a long period of inactivity. Should I acknowledge this? And if so, what should I say?

Absolutely, positively acknowledge them

1) offer your support and welcome them to your team
2) Check out where they were in the business before they disappeared - find out what steps they might have missed on their "To Do List" and Launch Pad the first go around - point out the steps they still need to take if they haven't done them already (Keep it short and simple)
3) Introduce what is new in the business since they left (new games, etc.) (Keep it brief)
4) Give

How do I promote the Signing Bonus and the opportunity to increase it to my new affiliates who have just received the $20 Signing Bonus?

The one thing I haven't seen mentioned so far in answer to this question is to publicize those in the business who are receiving sign up bonuses - each time an affiliate ups his or her sign up bonus, it is cause for acknowledgement. That should generate some excitement and momentum in your group, and cause the sign-up bonuses to be super effective!

How do I maintain or boost momentum in my group?

To boost the momentum of your group, be the leader and set the pace. Communicate your passion, and recognize achievements large and small. If you get a EA2 or a Bronze Team Leader out of your group of CSAs coming in, let your team know. They need to know just how valuable CSAs can be, and the best way to get CSAs is by becoming a Team Leader. If you enrolled 25 new people this month, let your team know. Even better, if you have some people seriously working this business, reward them with PSAs or
