What are the big picture things you are doing to make your SFI business a success?

Thank you for this question because I had not considered the big picture other than I want to succeed and one day become a diamond team leader. Most of the time my focus is on the day to day business of being an of SFI.
The first thing that came to my mind is to follow in my sponsor's footsteps. He focuses on his team and helps us to achieve success. He was a winner in the winter leadership challenge and has become a gold team leader. He said that his main focus switched from building a larger team himself to helping his team build their own team because our success is his success!
The second thing that I want to accomplish is to learn as much as I can about Internet marketing. I am thankful that SFI helps to make this achievable with the valuable information provided free of charge. I truly believe that readers are leaders.
I also need to be more confident in presenting SFI to others. I can't achieve the level of success that is my goal if I am shy about letting others know about SFI and what a great opportunity it is!

What's a better investment and why? TCredits or S-Builder Co-op?

That is a very interesting question because I had never considered which was the better investment. I have been in a position of being on a very tight budget and I considered TCredits a must for making a success of my SFI business. There is so much that you can do with TCredits -
1. Participate in the auctions. You have to be smart with your bidding but you not only get vp and mrp, you have the Spin and Win to help you build your team. You can bid in auctions to help you build your business such as PSA'S, CSA'S, SBuilder, free subscription for TCredits, etc. and you can bid on valuable merchandise.
2. You can use your TCredits in the games. I have won CSA'S,TCredits, and mrp playing CardKing and I am not that great at it! You also get your vp and mrp in playing the games. Besides the games are fun to play and with the new challenge feature, a great way to get others interested in TripleClicks.
Now that I am able, I have S-Builder as part of my standing order but if I have to choose between my standing order for TCredits and my standing order for S-Builder, my TCredit standing order would win every time.

How often and in what ways should we have contacts with our CSAs?

When I receive notice of new csa's, I send them a welcoming e-mail just like I do with new psa's and when I send out my weekly news letters, the csa's are included. I also let them know that I am willing to answer any questions that they might have. When they have an achievement that they have reached, I also send them a congratulatory e-mail. I really don't think that there should be a difference between what you send to your downline based on their position because a lot csa's don't have an active sponser.

What is the biggest mistake to avoid when advertising?

I think that the biggest mistake to avoid when advertising is not doing your homework, also known as learning as much as you can about advertising, making a plan about where to advertise to reach the market that you are targeting, and following through on the ads that you place to see if they are working!
1. Make sure that you know the terms and conditions that SFI has in place concerning placing ads.
2. Decide the content of the ad you are going to place. Keep it short and eye-catching. Keep it honest. If you are caught in a lie by promising something that you can't deliver, you will never get a second chance with that person and they will tell friends.
3. Decide where you can advertise to reach your market. If you have the greatest ad ever written but it doesn't reach your target, it is worthless!
4. Have a plan in place to follow through to see if your ad is working!
5. Be flexible. Make changes as necessary.

How do I welcome a new Designated Diamond and what should I say?

Your question' "How do I welcome a new Designated Diamond and what should I say?" at first puzzled me because you issued the invitation for this person to become a Designated Diamond. The the light went on over my head ( just like in a cartoon ) and I think I realized the purpose of the question. You want to acknowledge the difference of your PSA'S status. I think that you should congratulate your new Designated Diamond and share with them your thoughts on what needs to be done to accomplish your common goal. Ask them how you can help them achieve the next step and let them know that you are willing provide the extra help, support and encouragement that they will need. Thank them for accepting your invitation and give them the reasons that you selected them to become a Diamond.

What are some good ways to promote the Uber-Picks sports games to gain new PRMs?

I live in South Carolina when football is almost considered a religion. Just kidding but we really do love our sports teams! At any gathering ( and believe me, we use any excuse for a gathering! ) there is always talk centered around how our team is doing this year. This makes promoting Uber-
Picks easy! I am hoping to lure family members who love the game into Tripleclicks and Uber-Picks because once they see how great and easy it is to play, they will become members.
The thing about Uber-Picks is that there is something for everyone! You get to choose your sport or sports. This makes it easy to promote. It is also year round. If there is a down-side, I
haven't seen it yet! Because it is something that I am excited about, it is easy to talk about and easy to show someone else how it works. There is nothing harder than trying to sell something that you don't like.
SFI/Tripleclicks makes it easy to promote with banners and with the challenges. They provide the tools but it is up to us how we use them. I love all the games but I honestly think Uber-Picks is the best game yet and the easiest one to grab non-members interest!

What tips do you give to your PSAs in your welcome letter to them?

I welcome them and give them my contact information. I emphasize that I am always available to help them and to offer support when they need it.
I don't want to overwhelm them or repeat the information that SFI sends them but I do stress the benefits of becoming a Fast Track member since there is a time limit on it. I also encourage them not to rush through the lessons but to absorb all the information that they can. I also recommend that they take notes and have a sheet of paper handy to write down any questions that they have.
I close by telling them that I am glad that they are on our team and again let them know that I am ready to help.

How can I earn the most money in SFI...by recruiting and building a team of affiliates...or by selling TripleClicks products?

Thank you for your question. I really don't see a need to choose between the two because they are both important. They both provide you with a way to build a steady income. You can and should do both.
Recruiting and building a team is the main focus of every SFI affiliate. This takes time and money. By promoting and selling TripleClicks products, you can earn money to invest back into building your team.
How can I get my affiliates to understand the importance of communication in SFI?

Good communication is the lifeblood of any business! I emphasize good communication because you can have communication that fails to get your point across or communication where everyone is talking but no one is listening. Listening is vital. You need to hear and understand what your team member is saying. If you are not sure that you are getting the correct information, you need to ask questions.
You also need to be courteous. If you get an email from a team member who needs help, respond promptly. Be polite with your responses. Always be honest with your team. If you are unsure of the answer, tell them and let them know that you will find the correct answer.
You are their team leader, not their boss. If you give them the information that they need to make a decision and they choose a different option, respect their decision. If they find that they have made a mistake, never, ever say, "I told you so!" Those are four words that no one ever wants to hear!
Make sure that you have a positive attitude. Offer encouragement and praise. Recognize important events in their lives. If you need to offer constructive criticism, make sure that you find something to praise them for because as Mary Poppins said, "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!"
I learned how important communication is from my sponsor and I follow his example.

What are some tips for getting the most out of the SFI Forum each day?

I smiled when I read your question because the Forum and ASK-SC are two of my favorite SFI resources and I stress to my team that they should use them because they are valuable learning tools. Now you've brought my two favorite resources together with your question!
My tips:
1. My first tip is to go to the as often as you can. You will find out the latest news and updates in the forum. You also get to see how other affiliates feel about the updates. For example, when the new Pricebender auctions came out, I was upset but when I went to the Forum, there was nothing but praise so I went back and took a second look at the newsletter. It wasn't the auction that needed changing but my attitude toward the auction changes.
2. My second tip is to familiarize yourself with the rules of the Forum and the affiliates who regularly post in the forum. You can follow the affiliates whose advice comes from experience and knowledge of what works and what doesn't work. I have found valuable advice in the Forum that kept me from making costly mistakes.
3. Don't be afraid to post in the Forum. If you have a problem or a question that needs an answer, you can post it and receive a fast response. You can also go to the Forum and see if a technical problem you are experiencing is posted there. Last week I found that the Goldstreak questions were taking an extremely long time to advance but I found a post in the Forum so I knew that it meant everyone was experiencing the same thing and that a ticket had been submitted. This cuts down on the number of tickets submitted.
4. You not only receive valuable advice from experienced affiliates, you can also find inspirational and encouraging posts. You will find humorous posts that will make you laugh and occasionally you will find a request for prayer if someone is sick or if a tragic event has taken place.
I think that the reason that I enjoy the Forum so much is that it crates a bond between the affiliates and it gives us a sense of family.
