How can you get your spouse involved in your SFI business?

There is a popular saying that goes like this: Two heads are better than one.
Your spouse can be a great asset to your SFI business in many ways. Most of the time, spouses share a common circle of friends, but even with a common circle of friends, you still have some differences within the circle. Your spouse can reach the friends you do not normally talk to, and that will instantly double your coverage.
If your spouse works a job, you can encourage your spouse to look for ways to get SFI into the conversation during break times and the lunch hour. If your spouse has a business that can easily become an online business, you can become an ECA and help that business and yourself at the same time.
However, before you can do any of that, you have to first convince your spouse that SFI is a worthwhile business to invest your time, energy, and money in. And the best way to do that is to make your first recruiting "sales pitch" to your spouse. Show all the great benefits of being part of SFI and get the message across that it would be much better if you had a partner to help.

I want to be a good co-sponsor to my CSAs...but I don't want to overstep boundaries on those who have a great sponsor. How do I fill my role appropriately?

The best approach would be to contact their sponsor and see if you can find out what he/she does for that CSA. Introduce yourself and ask if there is anything you can help with to make sure that the CSA gets the maximum help for being successful. You can find out who the sponsor is by clicking on the profile of the CSA.
If you cannot get in touch with the sponsor, you could contact the CSA directly and ask what level of involvement their sponsor has and then ask what you can do to help. Other than that, just treat the team communication (Weekly mail, stream posts, etc) for the CSAs as if they were part of your own team because in a realistic way, they are part of your team.

What's a better investment and why? TCredits or S-Builder Co-op?

TCredits are the better investment because you have more options, but you can really have both with just one purchase. If you purchase TCredits and use them, you will gain Member Rewards Points which can be used to purchase a share in the S-Builder Co-op. Not only that, but you can also enter an auction for S-Builder using your TCredits.
How can I get my affiliates to understand the importance of communication in SFI?

If you want your affiliates to understand the importance of communication, you have to set the example by communicating on a regular basis. Some affiliates will respond and keep you informed of their progress, but others might take some coaching to help them become good communicators.
This is where the E-Card system can help. You can send them a "Tip" E-Card every week explaining one of the methods of communication. By letting them know about the variety of methods available, you are showing them that communication is important enough to have many different ways of making it happen.

What are some ideas for having an open house get-together to present the SFI opportunity?

In the past, the best way to run an open house get-together would be to order samples of product to show off. Unfortunately, this is hard to do since everything is online. You could ask everybody to bring their laptops with them so you can demonstrate on their computers while having snacks and games to keep them occupied.
By providing snacks and games, you will be able to have one-on-one time without making others feel left out. Everybody will get a chance to talk to you while at the same time have fun with other people while waiting. This will also encourage dialogue with others after you explain SFI to them. Another good idea would be to recruit a few people ahead of time to help you present the opportunity. This could help you cover more ground in less time.
Here is the reason why I say use their computer for your demonstration. By using their computer, you can add shortcuts and bookmarks so they can look it up later. You can also sit beside them and have them do the typing and browsing. This will give them a "hands on" experience with SFI.
An open house get-together is an excellent idea! If you decide to go through with this, please post a thread in the forum to let us know how it went.

To build a successful SFI business, how much should I rely on my sponsor?

Your sponsor can be a great resource, but if you want to build a successful business, you will have to avoid becoming too dependent on your upline.
The best advice I can give is to view your sponsor as a coach. When you play on a sports team, the coach is on the sidelines while you play the game on the field. He helps you learn the game and gives you encouragement and instruction while you play, but you are the one responsible for how well you do.
In the same way, your sponsor can help you learn about SFI, but you are responsible for your success because you are the one doing the work.

How can I use testimonials from the Testimonials Gateway to gain interest and sign-ups?

If you have a website or blog, you can feature a testimony every day by setting up a rotation. Copy and paste the testimonies from the gateway to a document on your computer so you can order them and that will make it easier to follow a schedule. If you get 30 testimonies, you can share 1 per day during the entire month and start fresh the next month.
What will you do differently in 2016 to grow your SFI business?

2015 was a productive year for me, but it was not as good as it could have been. I wasted time and money on actions and products that did not give me the results I was looking for.
That is why I am changing my approach slightly in 2016. I am already in a good routine for business, but I need to make a few adjustments along the way. I will begin with spending more time in the forum so I can pass on my experience while learning from others. I will look specifically for advice on advertising since that seems to be a weak point for me.
I will also develop a plan for advertising. I will keep my expenses down by learning better ways to advertise without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, trial and error was a slow, expensive experience but now that I am on the other side, I am excited to apply what I learned to the new year.

If you were to start over with SFI, what would you do differently, knowing what you do now about this business?
Earl Winfrey, Aff (South carolina, US)

Affiliate since: 11/10/2003, Power Rank: 150
This is an excellent question! If I had to start over with SFI, I would hit the ground running with the fast track and start recruiting from the first day rather than waiting several months before getting serious. I wasted so much time at the beginning and that caused me to fall way behind and lose momentum.
How do you get affiliates to understand that SFI is a serious business with serious earnings potential...and not just a hobby?
Earl Winfrey, Aff (South carolina, US)

The first step is to set the example by treating SFI like the serious business it is. Are you spending the time to build a successful business? Remember that you cannot lead a person to a place where you are not willing to go.
Once you make up your mind to treat this like a serious business, you will be able to show your affiliates that they need to do the same. Along with that, be careful about how you advertise SFI.
Here is another saying: What you win a person with is how you will keep that person. If you advertise SFI as a part time business, you will never get a full time effort out of those you recruit. Begin with yourself and advertise appropriately. That should get the message across loud and clear that SFI is a serious business.
