Most people are just plain curious about SFI mainly because of one word "free", but the reality of having to put in the time and make financial investments; that's another story. Few people want the responsibility for becoming successful, they prefer to stand on the side lines and watch you do it, and then maybe if your success is huge then they may fully commit or follow your actions. The best thing to do is lead as best as you can, set the best examples, and stick to your success plan; have one.
Then what you accomplish will speak for you, hopefully they will then follow the leader to become leaders themselves.

fear of success is like fear of life it either is inherent or learnt, we have to show duplication in steps; slow steps and precise steps, people need to know that someone else took the risks before them and succeeded. You must gain their trust that you went through the steps to succeed because you wanted to share it with them, and the only price they have to pay is the time they invest in learning how to take those steps from you.
What Information should I give new affiliates in my first email to them?

This is the most important point of contact, so first of all you need to inform them of the fact that thy have made a very good choice, then proceed to show them how SFI can be the means to them achieving a specific goal or dream that they need to accomplish. Share your success with them, showing them exactly how the business works, and how you have been able to build your way to achieving your personal goal.
People do not care about the history of SFI, or how good the system is technically, want they want to hear is what SFI can do for them in accomplishing their goals. Be honest, be open, be friendly, but remember folks have big expectations; so remind them that this is not a get rich quick platform, but rather a genuine business which they can succeed at if they are prepared to put in the time, effort, and resources.
