What is your advice to those who want to pursue this business but have limited time to invest into it?

When there is limited time to spend in a business other areas must be concentrated on so that progress can continue. For one thing, we cannot buy time. Therefore we must find it in other areas. If not, we must use whatever limited time we have wisely.
Use limited time to:
(a) set up a standing order of 1500 VP or more so that this will automatically guaranteed the EA status each month and allow the affiliate to benefit from the Executive Pool share distribution.
(b) invest in a Co-op monthly. The co-op will generate approximately 8-10 sign ups each month and therefore the affiliate can build a downline of PSAs who in turn will do the same.
Its takes only approximately 15 minutes to complete the daily tasks. Another 2 minutes on the weekly and monthly tasks when necessary. An affiliate can generate time by sacrificing something in their daily life. Cut back a few minutes on Television, entertainment, sport or bedtime. Early morning when the rest of the household is asleep, carve out some extra minutes of quiet uninterrupted time.
This time can be spent reading and gaining knowledge so that other areas of the business won’t be neglected. The affiliate should ensure that he use this limited time wisely until the situation changes and he can comfortably conduct his business.

Do I need to have a website or my own blog to be successful with SFI?

You don’t need to have a blog or website to be success but it will surely make your road to success much easier! Of the two, the easiest solution is the blog, especially for beginners. It is easy to set up and it can be created for free, eg. www.wix.com/ or blogger.com. You can also download free blog templates from many sites.
A blog is ideal for posting your banners, gateways, etc, so that you can build a dynamic team of affiliates as your downline. You can write anything you like, a hobby, food, a community interest, etc. I would especially recommend a blog for new affiliates because it can be a valuable learning experience as they work on posting banners, links and other marketing aids.
They can see immediate results of their efforts and this can be very encouraging. As they continue to get the hang of it, they can edit and improve this skill to make it more appealing and informative. This will allow them to get many hits and they can show their friends their progress.
The main idea is to ensure that you post something every day about SFI/TripleClicks and always maintain up to date and relevant information. Take time to re-read everything you write before posting. Be positive in your writings. Positive thoughts are full of hope and faith.
Always give your readers something to look forward to. Connect with them through your experiences and you will eventually build a great group of affiliates for your business.

What is the best way to begin a new month in SFI and achieve success?

The first thing I do is to review my progress of the last month. If it was successful then I would definitely want to repeat those actions exactly then step it up a bit in line with my goals. Therefore, I would want to have an improvement the next month.
If the month was not so good, I would immediately scrutinize the actions to see where I encountered obstacles or where I slipped. I would then review my goals to see what needs to be adjusted. I then try to fix all problems. If possible I consult my upline and I am never afraid to ask for assistance. I also communicate daily with my a2a friends and I regularly search the Forum. Remember, SFI operates as a family. We are all here to help.
Setting and readjusting goals is a great way to keep yourself on track and to monitor your progress in this business. I work on many short term goals to reach to my immediate pinnacle. These are achieved month by month and sometimes even day by day. It would lead to my ultimate pinnacle. If you plan on becoming a team leader, it is a priority. You have to think Success to be a Success!

How do I get my team to understand the potential of SFI and TripleClicks?

The best way to do this would be through communication. You may need to give them some supporting materials, information you can use to substantiate your discussion and to clarify your position. You can give examples, surveys, testimonial evidence, numbers and statistics, explanations and definitions. Some of these supporting materials are used as evidence or proof and others are used mainly for clarification or amplification.
You can discuss what others say about SFI and TripleClicks. Testimonial evidence indicates that you are not alone in your beliefs, ideas, and arguments. Other people also help your team accept your point of view. Expert testimony is statements made by those who have special knowledge or expertise about the idea. Statements made by a public figure that is known to your team, eg. Someone famous endorses the TripleClicks product or site.
Numbers that summarize numerical information or compare quantities are difficult for some to interpret. Therefore, you can illustrate your numbers by using visual aids such as pie charts, or graphs. Show visual comparisons.
Give evidence and proof. Proof is the strongest type of support. Proof is evidence that is sufficient to convince your team of the truth of a claim. Each week SFI gives a statement on the facts of its achievements with supporting figures, eg. Membership Growth, product increase, etc. This can be used generously.

I have heard about Team Leaders with groups numbering in the tens of thousands! What do they do differently to build such a huge downline?

Those who build a huge downline are to be admired for their persistence and creativity. For one thing, they may be more aggressive advertising gurus than we are. They focus on getting the word out to everyone and everywhere they can think of.
Their aggression is in advertising daily both on free advertising sites and on paid advertising sites. This can be done both online and offline and of course, they encourage their team to do the same. This is their financial investment and the signups are the ROI (Return on Investment).
In addition, marketing may be their strongest skill and so they pursue this line of the business. They utilize their gateways profitably and in a short space of time they get results and will, without doubt, be quite successful.
Secondly, they may play price benders and focus on winning those auctions where CSAs and PSAs are offered. It does not matter how much they win because they can simply transfer to their downline affiliates and thereby gain additional action points.
Another way they may gain these affiliates is by moving up the ladder to the highest team leader level – Platinum, and so they gain the largest share of Second Home Co-Sponsored Affiliates.
It is important to note here that the quantity of affiliates does not make one successful but the quality of those affiliates who become team members. Nonetheless, from the quantity one can sift out the quality.

What are the best FREE methods for attracting and sponsoring new affiliates?

The Social media is one of the most useful – Facebook, twitter, email, U-Tube etc.I enjoy warm advertising – talking to family and friends. I do this everyday and it’s free.
When you talk to people face to face you actually see whether they are reluctant, bored or excited as you are. You can immediately change your approach or adapt to whatever situation you are faced with. It may be challenging but then, it helps you to grow in your business and become bolder or more confident.
Another good, free way is to give them something tangible to remind them of who you are and what is your business. A gift card, a business card, a brochure or a flier will take care of this approach. It means that while you may not be there to influence them they can read on their own time and build their curiosity. You can use your gateways to your advantage.
Use free Advertising on web sites. Here you can be as aggressive and as creative as you want to be. Remember you are competing with others so you want to have that edge. Since building a downline is crucial to this business you should always be willing to try something new – something you have not done before. This will help you to step up your game and would definitely bring success

What would you consider to be too much and unnecessary communication with your team?

In the early stages of an affiliate signing up you do not want him to be too confused.
The new affiliate has the Start-Up , which eventually sends him to the Affiliate Center. Additionally, he has the SFI Basics, then the Launchpad. All of this should be introduced gradually to the affiliate.
Too much information too suddenly can lead to information overload and may even cause him to discontinue as he feels swamped. This stress is induced by receiving more information than is necessary to make a decision at the time, or that can be understood and digested even though he makes the attempt to deal with it.
For the more advanced members of the team, information should be given to them on a regular basis so that they can continue to grow. However, the team leader should not want to be nagging them to complete their daily, weekly and monthly actions. Share information and relative data with them as a form of encouragement. For example, you can guide them to Forum or Frequently Asked Questions so that they can glean information from other affiliates.
Ensure that the communication is not one way, from you to them, as this may come across as being dictatorial or too bossy. Let them have an input by asking them questions to find out what they are thinking. If they ask questions, answer them to the point without giving a lecture. Be gently but give the assurance that you are always there to help.
Less talk and more action from you the team leader will go a long way in showing them that you are an active and dynamic leader. Students learn from examples they see.

What do you do with affiliates who never do anything--despite your constant encouragement and offers of support?

All affiliates need encouragement at one time or another. Constant encouragement can sometimes be seen as too bossy, dictatorial or maybe as information overload. If this is so, the affiliate will do absolutely nothing so the affect would be opposite to what was hoped for.
Affiliates who never do anything should not be ignored. It may be they are inactive because of time and unforeseen occurrences. However, remember at any time a person’s circumstances may change and he may then be in a position to be active. Never give up on any individual. People are motivated at different levels and from different actions.
You, the team leader should always strive to be adaptable. Try new angles or new ideas. Check your affiliates’ profiles and try to reach them on their level and their interests. It is important to see what their goals are, and try to see things from their perspective.
I have had a unique experience from one of my affiliates. Our conversations are mostly on Skype. She had not done anything on SFI as she does not yet understand our concepts; however, we have remained friends. Whenever I see something of interest I send it to her. I am confident that in time, she will grasp the idea, see my progress, my improved standard of living and will make a positive move to be active in SFI.
The main thought here is that we should never give up on affiliates. Always let them make the final decision

What should an affiliate do if their sponsor is non-responsive?

So your sponsor has not communicated with you! Don’t worry! Don’t beat yourself Don’t sweat! You are not alone nor do you have to grope in the dark. According to our SFI boss changing sponsor is not such a good idea either. "NEVER, EVER allow yourself to think your sponsor, other upline members, or anyone else controls what level of success you achieve”, is his advice since a sponsor cannot magically help you to succeed. It’s really up to you.
SFI’s teaching programme is designed to help you succeed. It is very simple and most of us can attest to this. However, it would be nice to have someone to guide you if you need it. That’s where our a2a friends come in. SFI is like a family of brother and sisters whom you can call on. We can hold each other’s hands and get across the obstacles.
Post your queries on Forum. Read the respective responses from Ask SC. Contact support who is always there to assist. Your upline is made up of a few leaders who, though busy, at least one of them will find the time to communicate with you. You should also check your sponsor’s leadership page where he might have some ideas for you and his other team members.
Finally, you have an opportunity to help your sponsor. You can complete your sponsor rating anonymously each month. This rating will hopefully help provide your sponsor with an extra incentive to continually provide support to the team members. Soon you will receive this message “Thank you Michael for thinking of me! Your sponsor....”

As an ECA, what is the best way to use a dropshipper for your ECA Products?

Drop shipping provides an easy and simple way to get started in ecommerce. It allows you to leverage other people's capital without having to invest thousands of your own. When managed correctly, it can form the foundation of your own successful online store.
The best way to use this concept is to find a supplier to work with. There are sites that actually find drop ship suppliers for you. Just tell them what niche you’re in and they’ll track them down, call them up, verify them, and provide their report to you. No middlemen or ongoing fees or anything.
The basic concept of drop shipping is that one could gain membership access with a drop ship company that will allow them to be able to get instant access to wholesale products. From there, they can sell these products and the drop ship companies will do the rest. This includes shipping and packaging.
The advantage of drop shipping is that you can sell the products before you purchase them; leaving you with virtually zero risk. A few words of caution:
1. It may be hard to sell a product you cannot see. Try to get familiar with a product line.
2. Products that can be drop shipped will create a lot of competition. Usually this will lead to cutthroat pricing and diminishing profit margins, making it hard to build a viable business. Ensure that your goods are correctly priced so that you make a profit.
3. Suppliers are fairly good about paying to remedy problems, but when they're not, you need to be willing to spend what's necessary to resolve the issue for your customer.
4. To avoid items running out of stock, work with a variety of suppliers with overlapping product lines.
