To create a good ad you must first know your target customer and your product. Next in the body of the ad, in very few words, you will need to get as much information and excitement in there as possible. This is the hard part! Finally, the headline. Make it exciting! You will want people to click on it to read your ad!

You can use a company that sends the email for you. They have their lists and people willing to receive them. I would be too scared to send them on my own!

SFI is a unique and successful global company because it helps regular people (like you and me!) to build businesses of their own, for little monetary investment. It gives step by step training and superb ongoing support so that each of us has the best opportunity to succeed!

Yes it does! I have been using all FREE advertising (with a share of my sponsors team co op) and I get about 50/50 with it. It does take more work with doing the searches for sites to advertise on, and setting up a trash email acct (a must for the amount of email generated). I place 3-5 ads minimum per day and let the ads run until they are not producing anymore. In 3 months I have 61 affiliates this way. I have a couple that are actually working their businesses. This does not include the Team Co op I have run a few times. So my answer is YES! It works!

I have many affiliates in my genealogy that haven't been active for weeks. Should I just ignore them?

You should not ignore them. I would suggest (and do!) sending TEAM mail each week along with everyone. It lets them know what is going on, gives advice, and makes them feel that they matter. I also email them personally every so often to ask if I could help in any way. You never know, it might be that one email that gets them active!

Most important is a positive attitude and the drive to succeed. SFI is a great company and they give us all the tools except the positive attitude (although they do their best to give us this too!)
You are a sponsor who has lost touch with your downline. How do you reconnect?

As an active sponsor I would never 'loose touch' with my downline. My advice to those who do is to jump back in there and make up for lost time! Send out Team Mail. Let them know you are there. Answer all emails immediately. This lets them know that you really are there for them! Use everything at your disposal to make them feel confident in you again. Good Luck!

I always send encouraging letters to my affiliates with congratulations and start them on the way to reach that next goal. Maybe re-assigning affiliates, running a Team Co op, or other reward to boost excitement in making goals.
Do you need to have your own website (if so, why) or are the Gateway websites provided by SFI adequate?

I think when you are first starting your business, the Gateway's are more than adequate. They have all the information needed to recruit affiliates or get TC Members or sales. When your business grows larger, you may want to get your own website.

Communication is most important. Answer emails as quickly as you can and send tips and encouragement through Team Mail each week. Let them know you are there for them! Even if you are just learning yourself. If you don't know an answer, find it!
