What kinds of contests do your affiliates seem to respond best to?

First, I would like to thank you for bringing this important question to ASK SC. Setting contests helps a lot in SFIMG. It makes inactive affiliates become active and active affiliates become super active. Prizes that can be used for the contests are Gift Certificates, PSAs and TCredits.
The best to use of all is the PSAs. Many new affiliates are not new to only SFI but to the world of internet marketing and so find it herculean sponsoring affiliates since they do not know what to do. This makes some of them give up. Yes, it happened to me! And it is still happening to others. Some have the money to be EAs but don’t know how to recruit. I highly recommend using PSAs in contests and rewards. If you can, let them know that anyone who makes EA2 or above will be in your COOP and will remain in your COOP as long as he/she remain an EA2 or above. When they see their team growing, they then have a reason to stay above as the leader. Don’t worry about the money you spend in advertising to get the Affiliates! You are building your team and remember the MATCHING VP part of SFI.
The second is the Gift Certificates! The GC is like sending money… the only difference is that the GC can only be spent on TripleClicks. One thing I like about GC is that you get your money back if they don’t spend it and if they spend it, you get the CV :).
The TCredits! TCredits is TripleClicks own kind of money. You can set this as a contest for product listing purposes for some affiliates.
Do whatever you can above to draw their attention. Ask them to know what they want for a contest. They are not just your SFI affiliates but your friends. Hear from them! Keep the communication line open.

What's the best incentive to offer new affiliates?

The best incentive for new affiliates is information. Introduce yourself as the sponsor/team leader, offer to help them the best you can then direct them to their TO-DO LIST to quickly earn up to 500 VP for FAST-TRACK and to always stay above the GREEN LINE.
Tell them about building their team (invite them to your paid or free coop if you have one) and about selling their products at TripleClicks as members or ECAs (offer to send some TCredits to help get started listing some of their products if they want to). Gift certificates works pretty well too but i like using it mainly for contests and to help those who are a few points away from EA-rank.

What is a good goal to shoot for in SFI this year?

Great question! For me, a good goal for this year is to find new places/ways to advertise my SFI business and as time goes by i'll do more of what works and less of what doesn't. I am also going to refer TripleClicks members (PRMs) as much as possible using the TripleClicks Gift Cards.
Selling products is one of the best/fastest ways to earn money with SFI. What is the most effective way to generate product sales?

For me, the simplest and most effective way to generate TC sales that is working for me is Email Advertising. After being with SFI for more than 1 year now, i have understood that using thousands of cheap traffic is a waste of time (can bring many signups of people who will do no work but just occupy your genealogy. I have been there! Email advertising is more expensive but shouldn't be a problem since we want quality signups. There are different types of Email advertising... you can use any of them. You try everything possible but latter, do much of what works and less of what doesn't.
Pay per Click is pretty cool too but I prefer email advertising because in an email, you can describe a little bit of what you are offering unlike Pay per Click where you just leave only a Topic or just 2 lines of text.

How can you best use your badges (Top 10 Power Rank, E365 Finalist, etc.) to grow your SFI business?

I personally love badges. Badges are impressive and beautiful. I also reflect how you have been active with SFI (milestones). You have people in your downline that visit your Leadership page regularly and as they do this, they see your SFI Badges. They may be interested in having same and so they upgrade by IAHBE, WAVE 3, Winning Pricebenders, etc. Remember, you are they leader. Be serious with your SFI business… be an example for your downlines to follow! This is how your badges can help build your SFI business.

Do you differentiate your level of support for your downline depending on their rank?

For me, i won't! Why? Ok, all of them started earning from 0VPs from the day they became SFI Affiliates. I think the best way to do this is provide same support for all your members of your Team. You may help some of them more depending on how serious they are. You can notice this from your MOVERS Tab. It will be easy to make one who is nearly an EA make EA than helping one that is very far from it.

One thing I like so much about the seminars is that the information received is duplicated from one person to another when they leave the scene. It depends anyway on the way they take your info which depends mainly on how you have addressed the talk.
The best way to do a seminar in my country is to inform people first by any advertising method; televisions, radios, newspapers and even sharing inexpensive invitation cards to them.
The way to give talks or information is a very important factor, there is going to be many listeners. You can have someone help you pass the info to them if you are the kind that isn’t good at public speaking.
You should be able to tell them how internet marketing is better than other businesses and how SFI is better than other internet marketing businesses. Be an example and state some of your achievements for being an internet marketing entrepreneur.

What is the best way to get new affiliates to focus on the E365 competition?

In getting new affiliates to focus on the E365 competition, do the following;
1. Go to https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/NewAffiliateGreeting and edit your New Affiliate greetings to talk a bit about the E365 Contest (introduction). This should be as brief as possible because most new affiliates are likely not to be interested in reading long messages.
2. Introduce them to the E365 in your welcome message (include the link to learn more about the contest "https://www.sfimg.com/E365") and this time, make them know what they will be gaining like the many MRPs, Versapoints, TCredits, Impressive badge and many more.
3. When sending the Team Mail/E-mail to your new affiliates, be sure to remind them about the E365 contest.
4. Keep watch on your MY MOVERS Tab! When you see an affiliate below the green line, Send him/her a notification message. Refer the AFF to https://www.sfimg.com/E365 and also offer to help.
5. Setting contests helps too. You can tell them that anyone who makes it to the finalist will receive a Gift certificate of like $20, $30 or even $50. Don't worry about the money! When you do this, your affiliates will be your good friend in no time and will be willing to work with you. If they do not spend the money, you get it back! They spend it, you get the CV :)

What are the best types of businesses to send the ECA Postcards to?

First, think about companies in your place. Take a look at some of them that can benefit by selling their products online; you know nowadays, some new companies don't have an online presence and even if they have, promoting it to get customers suck. I think the best businesses to send the ECA postcards to should be:
1. Businesses that makes/manufacture the products themselves. A company making the products themselves is much likely to sell cheaper than those buying from the company for resell. And giving TripleClicks the 15% or more won't be a problem. A reseller can step on the cost of selling a product just to get TripleClicks 15% allocation thereby making customers buy at a high price which can turnoff some customers and kill sales.
2. Wholesalers: These companies buy from the manufacturers at relatively low cost and so giving TripleClciks 15% and also selling at great discounts won't be a problem.
3. Businesses that sells/manufacture unique products. It would be great to send the ECA postcards to businesses that sells hard to find products (i.e. companies that are not so much in competition at TripleClicks. These companies will make sales in that their niches will be exclusive at TripleClicks.
All in all, all businesses can benefit from TripleClicks. I am just talking about the best.

How have you used SFI's Live Chat (the yellow bubbles that appear in the Genealogy, etc.) to your benefit?

The SFI's Live Chat feature is very useful! It is the fastest way to exchange messages with my downline and upline that are online than other messaging tools, Most especially, welcoming those that just joined SFI, sending tips to those that managed to login and also to message upline that are not helping and managed to come online. I also believe that at SFIIM (SFI Instant Messaging), IM signifies urgency.
