Should I reach out to the affiliates on my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. generations...or leave support to their sponsor?

Yes, reach down to them and develop a relationship and cement the parts of your team together. By looking at your genealogy and checking each of your PSAs who have sponsored affiliates, you can tell if he is in a position to be of help to his downline. Look at his badges, his total and monthly vp, if he has earned all of the available communication and stream vp, if he has completed his To Do List including the LaunchPad. These can indicate that this is a good or bad sponsor.
Your first communication with gen 2+ can be a friendly introduction to yourself with your team goals, etc. Offer your help and encouragement. Encourage them to contact their sponsors and to ask them for help. Offer your help when their sponsors are not available.
As you pinpoint which of these generational affiliates has a dormant sponsor, write them individually. Offer your encouragement and help. Perhaps guide them in their adventure of building this business. First step, first. Never criticize their sponsor. Their sponsor might awaken and want to be a good sponsor. He needs the trust and honor that you can instill in his PSA.
I have tried to always inform a sponsor when I am contacting his PSA. You always want to remember that the sponsor's role is not to be taken lightly and we should not tread on another's role as sponsor.

How do you get your Sponsor/Team Leaders to respond to you?

It is very easy for a busy person to get into SFI and even buy a share of S builders and begin to sponsor affiliates without having read any of the training materials. Or an excited person can get in and tell all his friends what little he knows about it and enroll many new affiliates without having read any of the training materials.
OH NO! What does he do then? He's a sponsor with no answers so he does not answer any communications. He might get excited and read and learn and then communicate. But in the meantime, silence.
You can tell how long your sponsor has been in by his ID #. The closer it is to yours, the newer he is.
For an inexperienced sponsor, you might write to him and tell him what you have read that excites you, what you are doing, and what you are telling your new PSAs. In other words, excite him and also "mentor" him until he takes off and digs in. Some people just are not convinced that SFI will work until they see it working in their own group.
Remember, that just as you may not get an active sponsor, his may also not be active.
I believe that team work is not just a downwards motion, but also upwards and sidewards. When we write to our sponsors and tell about what we are doing, what we have tried concerning actions and TC products, and about our accomplishments, we are giving him fuel to encourage ans stimulate his other PSAs.

How do I go about finding ECAs in my own city?

This question does not express the full idea that is being asked and it is very frustrating to read answers covering two different questions.
If the real question is "How do I find businesses in my area who will become ECAs", then the answer should deal with finding and recruiting potential ECAs. And some have answered thusly.
But the question reads more like "How can I find ECAs (that I can support and not have to pay shipping)in my own area", then the answer is simply to use the ECA Report. It's in our training and there is no originality to the answer.

What's the best way to motivate TripleClicks members to become buyers?

The question asks about TC Members. If a TC Member is an affiliate, he is called an affiliant. All affiliates are TC Members. Yours are PSAs. A TC Member can also be called a PRM. You get contact imformation for your PSAs but not for your PRMs.
SFI does not give out contact information about PRMs so they won't feel spammed to death by Sponsors hammering them with sales letters.
When we recruit, we do much better in the long run when we pre-qualify our sign-ups. Our ads must be answered by people who expect to pay for something they are getting whether they are signing into a "buyers club"
or an internet home business.
Sign-up is free, but are they really looking to buy something, or just get something for free?
Once the person signs on and you get the notice for a new PRM, then you should send them a gift certificate with a deadline of only a few days. It should not be a large amount of money given. You do not want them to think you will be paying for their purchases. Just give enough that they will spend it. $2.00 gets a Wave3 membership[ or an ebook or pays on the shipping of another item. $5.00 gives them a choice of items.

Which is the best option to qualify for EA each month & why? For example IAHBE, S-Buider or any other option?

Is the best option the Cheapest option? Is the best option the most useful to building your business at this particular time? Do you absolutely need to have a standing order for 1500 vp? Do you need to be on autopilot with your vp?
If your money is tight, then do all of your Daily, Weekly, and Monthly VP and any of the To Do List that you have not done so far. Then pick out items that will be necessary and useful for your SFI Business, like any of the marketing aids.
I have always had at least one S Builder share, and I keep T credits in stock, more some months, I use them as an incentive to finish the LaunchPad and other things.
The idea when you stat out, is to make it to EA and then EA2. But when you want to move up to BTL, while you are still developing a strong downline, it is better to be loyal to the system and buy or sell your 2000 VP. Remember it takes at least 2 months, usually more, to get any EA2s.
Now, I couldn't imagine buying just one item and then not being willing to go over the 1500 or 200 VP that are allowed. I need and want more stuff. So We have to be willing to spend money for what we want and need and not be hindered by the "required" amount.

What is your best tip for winning Pricebenders auctions?

Make sure that your body is ready for a long session on the auction. If you have to use the little room, the auction will end while you are gone. Also don't drink much water or anything else before or during the auction.
Have your TCredits all ready bought. Don't use more than your limit.
And don't go to another page while you are waiting for the next bid.
How can we communicate effectively with team members who speak different languages?

There is more to international communication than just word translation. Scott Wright is the only answer on two pages that has addressed this.
With the frustration level so high when we use translators to communicate, we must show that we have patience and love for those in other countries. We must also have some understanding about what they have to do to build their business in their country. Finances can play a major part in how a business is built. Farther than just buying product.
Does the person own a computer or have to rent time at a computer cafe?
Is there embarrassment about the language or knowledge?
We need to understand why the communication is slow and not blame it on lack of interest.
So as we use translators, we must remember that communication is not just words.

First thing when I get notice of a new PSA, I look to see if he has gathered any VP. My welcome letter will reflect what he has already done. Those with several hundred VP have probably figured out how to go about getting started, those with less may need encouragement. Then I check to see his To Do List to get a feel of his strengths and weaknesses. Some people do the activities, but balk at the reading and quizes.I send a welcome letter and if he has not earned very many more VP in a few days, I send a second letter offering encouragement and my help.
Some of my correspondence is divided up as to how successful my PSAs have been recently, and in the past. Has anything happened in SFI since the last log-in? Has a group of them been successful in reaching a goal? Are they at the stage where they really need some coaching to make it over that second month hump?
As far as my CSAs go, I also look at their VP and To Do List, and their sponsor's profile. A very new sponsor who is not yet a BTL past the first month may not be able to help his PSAs. The same with long term sponsors who are EA or below, may not be interested in helping their PSAs. One the other hand, some of my CSAs are doing gret and I am assuming that their sponsor is helping them. My letter to all my "CSAs states that their sponsor has the first responsibility to them, but that I am available to help anytime they need it.

I know I should work with the workers, but how many follow-up messages should I send to inactive CSAs/PSAs before giving up on them?

I am only BTL, but I believe that you should not give up on the inactive affiliates. Send them a few messages at first, then just send them your group mailers. Every month or two send them an inactive group mailer and tell them that you will write to them privately and personally if they write to you.
I have had a good number just recently "wake up" and get involved with building their SFI business. Remember a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. These people have already signed up. Many have no intention in doing anything after they sign up. And many don't even give addresses to email they read. But a few will read everything you send and something might jog them into action.
The rest are no bother to add to the group mailings.
