Yes, of course, if you are referring to short term success.

We know that there are Affiliates who start with all guns blazing and able reach the top by using shortcuts such as buying large amounts of TCredits, purchasing items at TripleClicks, and using all the free VP sources to earn large VPs to qualify for Team Leader.

You must have the skills yourself to identify affiliates the skills that could help them become stars in SFI. You can't expect to identify something you are not familiar with.

You are looking for affiliates who are go-getters. It is easy to identify the skills of a go-getter.

A go-getter don't waste time, once he/she understands what needs to be done, he gets down to it and just do it.

I would encourage, rather than discourage, my PSAs who want to become Team Leader right away.

This doesn’t mean my PSAs should go for Team Leader rank before they are ready and have built a team, but I would give them all the help, guidance and motivation I could give within my power.

So, for PSAs who are go-getters, resourceful, and have the means and capability to become Team Leaders right away, then by all means help and encourage them by-

How can TCredits be used to promote activity in your team will depend on your creativity.

As an incentive to get started. This is very useful in prompting action for new members. Promise to give 10TC for making Fast Track, and suggest to use it at Pricebender auction as a trial.

As a reward for attaining a milestone. Give TCredits for a new member who attains EA on first month, BTL next, etc. The amount will depend on you.

Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?

No. I think cold calling is dead! In the past before the Internet, cold calling using a local telephone directory was the popular method for attracting new customers.

Nowadays, the only people who use this old method are the telemarketers.

If you want to use this old-fashioned method, you run the risk of your calls being ignored,or being hung up on, especially if you choose to ring late afternoon or early in the evening, when the family is busy preparing dinner, or getting

Sometimes this nasty thought of giving up when things are really tough can derail us. What did I do to keep pushing forward?

As Team Leaders, we carry the responsibility of knowing more than our team members mainly because of our position within the team. But we can’t be expected to know everything.

Being honest with our shortcomings and accepting of our limitations will be better in fostering trust and respect.

To answer your question, I would direct my new affiliates to read and review the LaunchPad lessons, especially Day 6 - Central to your Success, and Day 11 - Overnight Success - NOT!

Some new affiliates upon joining usually do and finish all the 30 lessons in one go, thereby earning themselves a 200 VP bonus and Fast Track Badge. There are many things about SFI that will be very convincing for people to join. For what is there not to like SFI?

First reason is because it’s free to join. Anyone can start to build SFI business from scratch.
