Yes, it can be extremely effective, especially if this is a type of advertising you enjoy doing, so your enthusiasm for your subject, SFI and Triple Clicks, will come thru to your audience.

Conversely, you will only reach the attendees, maybe some of their friends thru word of mouth, which can be a fairly small return for a good bit of effort. Advertising online can literally extend to many thousands of people with less output, and potentially much better return.

I would strongly suggest you offer no comments that could be construed as "criticism"!!

Rather, use e-cards, send them tips about how they might do so-and-so differently to get a better result, or suggest they go ahead and get the extra Daily Grand entry by rating the additional 20 answers every day.

Try never to send a negative comment to your downline, as negativity breeds negativity, and that is the last thought you should put in anyone's mind. Always phrase your

Every thing they can think of!! Try all of it.

Pay attention to results, using keycodes and hit tracking, to see which methods work best for the individual, which ones they like doing, which ones they don't.

After a couple weeks, they need to analyze their results: )which methods were successful? )how successful were they? )are you satisfied with your results?

Then, refine, tweak, change completely... keep doing this until they have found their marketing strengths,

It's a very lovely idea, but in time, your team will grow enough that you will become overwhelmed with details.

Whenever you set up welcome letters, etc., try to make it sound personal without actually using their name. Talk in your communiques as though the person was sitting across from you. Suggest beginning things for them to do that will help them overcome their initial "shyness" with the website. Remember that SFI will also be sending mail to them, you don't want to fill

Learn your business very well. You also need to read the Launchpads, and all the information across the black bar on home page.

Go to TripleClicks, too, learn the kinds of products they carry. Explore auctions, games, everything! When you are comfortable with what you are trying to sell, it will show in the ease and comfort with which you present yourself and your business.

Never lie, exaggerate, try to lead them to believe something not true. Do whatever you tell them you

Go explore those advertising sites, see the way others' ads are presented. Remember the things you like, and what turns you off. Make notes of your opinions and why you have them. Check out other SFI ads as well as other companies. Not because you want to join them, just to see how other companies present their material. One can always learn from others, you know, and that includes competitors as well as those in completely different businesses.

Then, sit down and prepare your ad ideas.

Routine contact via PSA & CSA mailers, genealogy mailer, e-Cards, email. Use the stream post for messages as well.

Keep your Leadership page up to date with current SFI tips, information, encouragement to your whole team.

Remember that "routine" varies from sponsor to sponsor, as does the requirement for support vary with the individuals on your team. Check your genealogy frequently to monitor progress in general, and their Snapshots to monitor individuals who

I hope some really good answers show up here, because I'm a little in the same boat! :(

The best ideas I can present are to keep doing as you do - weekly team mails, e-cards now and then, stream posts, make sure leadership page current, go read replies at the Forum, and ADVERTISE.

At both the Forum and AskSC you can search for posts/questions that are similar to your situation, read all the replies. It can be amazing how many really GOOD ideas can come from an hour or two

I think a very good way to inspire your team would be to have them really look at the growth tab every day, write down the names of the top enrollers, AND the number of signups they brought in that day. Have them track it for a week or two.

Then explain to your team about the executive pool and shares thereof. The activities of everyone's downlines goes a loonng way towards boosting their own VPs, helping them attain higher ranks. Everyone's activities affect uplines, and eventually their
