I don’t visit the forum daily I would have to say almost hourly. I would suggest that every affiliate in SFI and TripleClicks visit the forum at the very least once a day and here is the main reason why.

The information you gain from reading the questions and answers is better than any book that you can study for learning how to operate any home based business.

The knowledge being shared is coming from those who have had firsthand experience in the field. This is the best form of response that anyone can get for the answers to their questions.

I have learned more from the affiliates who actively participate in the forum than I have from any other source in SFI and TripleClicks.

Another feature with the forum is that you will get responses to your questions sooner than you can obtain them from our busy support system.

If you are not signed up to receive the news from SFI or TripleClicks then the next best place is the forum – almost every post that SFI and TripleClicks makes on their weekly or daily post is discussed openly on the forum usually within a few minutes after headquarters makes the news post.

Then to top it off – Gery and the Tec’s have given us the easiest forum to use that I have ever participated in. This forum should set the standards for all the forums on the Internet to date.

And the beauty of it is Gery and the team are not done yet! Woot – Woot I love it!

I find your question to be thought provocative – One of the things that first come to mind is simply to use the JMT (Join My Team) Gateway the same way that I use all my other Gateways.

When I first start using a new Gateway I put it to several different test, such as using it in solo ads on free sites, solo ads on paid sites, Text ad sites, and classified ads free and paid.

I also test the Gateway on social sites with my blog URL and I will also test it with a direct link to the Gateway.

The first thing I usually do is to add a tracking code to the URL and then shorten the URL and test to see if the tracking code still worked. Sometimes when adding a tracking code to an URL it will not be tracked when the URL has been shortened.

A Gateway is a URL that takes the reader to your landing page when using the Internet. The different ways that can utilize your on-line presence with a URL are unlimited. Use your imagination.

Use the JMT URL as your Internet signature in your emails, blog post, social networks anywhere you can successfully use the Gateway without hiding it by cloaking.

Purchase a list from an economic list service that can provide you with home-based business leads or MLM leads and send this list a postcard – the only thing you put on the card is “Limited invitation” underneath that put your JMT URL under the URL put your name and don’t put anything else on the card.

Example: “Limited Invitation”
http://www.joinmySFIteam.com/XXXXX
Your name here

Replace the “XXXX” with your SFI ID number and tracking code. A more professional look would be to shorten the URL using the free Google URL shortener.

This is an old mailing system and it still works great – you can draw a lot more contacts and hits on this system than using any other in-expensive paid systems.

One thing to keep in mind when building a team that is centered only on your own spoken language and environment will limit the outreach that you have.

SFI is a global system in a large way – many affiliates will be placed within your team that comes from other countries. Like the CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates) come from anywhere on the globe and you have no choice in the matter. And if you are using S-Builder you do not have a choice as to where the PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) are coming from.

In building a team of same spoken language and environment as your “warm market” is a great idea. With the warm market being people, friends and relatives residing near you. But your overall efforts should be a global team.

In this day and age I personally believe that keeping your “eggs” in one basket can easily lead to financial ruin due to the instability of econometric factors within the country you might be building your business in.

With a business structured like SFI and TripleClicks the wisest thing a successful affiliate could do would be to “go beyond the boundaries of your own country."

All you really have to do is list the most recent wins – what the product was and the price that it was won at. If people can’t get excited over that nothing is going work.

One of the important things is to list all the products details such as brand name – locked-unlocked, new or refurbished list the retail price and the amount it was won on the auction.

One of the other benefits is that there is an auction going on 24/7 so time is no barrier. Any day of the week or any hour of the day pick your time to win.

Remember don’t talk about winning PSAs or VersaPoints because your prospects will not know what that means and they are not eligible to receive PSAs and VersaPoints.

Use your Pricebenders Gateway page it has a lot of good information on it. I have that page on my blog and it has received several clicks over the months so I know people are reading it.

Post the results of an auction in Facebook once and a while, people who read it could get interested and click on the link you provided them.

Think of all the things that turn you on about the auctions and write that down to use as part of your advertising.

Copy the information on the daily “Wow” auction and rewrite it into your ads.

Go and win a couple auctions and write about your experience and excitement of your win people love personal testimony.

The best approach to use will be determined by where you are doing your advertising.

If you are going to advertise in social sites then using you web-page blog would be better because your blog URL will not contain information that is blocked by social networks.

If you are doing Email advertising through safe sites I would use an SFI Gateway. The reason I do this mainly is because the SFI Gateway landing page I use has the sign-up form on the page.

If I am advertising in newspapers I will direct people to my personal blog URL and run another ad in the same page that takes people to my SFI Gateway. This way I am split testing which method is working best in the newspaper ads. So far the best results is by using my SFI Gateway.

It is good to seek advice to gain knowledge on what kind of system or URLs to use but in reality the best approach will be one that you feel good about using. You need to practice advertising in many different forms and don’t forget to track all your results.

The system you learn to be good at (draws more contacts and sign-ups) should be the system you learn to perfect. Keep tweaking your ad until it draws the most desired results.

In this world of Internet Marketing where we have access over the entire globe we have affiliates from many different cultures and languages along with 24/7 on going activities within our teams.

As far as managing my team with these differences in mind I created extra avenues of communication for my teammates.

I have informed all teammates that we have a Facebook business fan page where they can leave messages any time they want.

I have an Email service that is dedicated strictly for my SFI teammates. It is a hosted email address and my teammates can contact me at any time there – I check the emails about 5 times a day.

Almost every day I post a message in the Stream for my teammates. Something up-lifting or encouraging along with notices of milestones reached.

Four or five times a month I send out a newsletter to all my teammates, informing them of SFI news and news about how our team is doing and sometimes about a great product in TripleClicks that they may not be aware of.

To top that I also send E-cards to new affiliates (along with information of the different ways to contact me) when they join or when they advance to a new level.

If an affiliate contacts me in any of the above methods I try to respond to them that day (if possible). I do not try to set up personal time to get on Skype or instant messaging services at this time I just cannot afford such things.

As a team leader with many activities I have very little time to invest in contacting individuals unless they request it.

As my personal team grows larger I will acquire more effectual ways of communication with individuals when needed.

This business is about building relationships through our partners in our team. I am always working on ways of improving avenues. Like in the future I already have access to a conference room that can hold 50 plus members at one time. I would schedule live training at any time of day or night (to accommodate those in different time zones).

When enough people want to gather in a single country I would have a person from that country to interpret the training so all can understand.

Most “fear” is derived from lack of knowledge (the unknown) – even the fear of success. When confronted with the complexities of having a large group of people depending on you to lead them on the road to success can be quite fearful to someone who has never done anything like that before.

The beauty of the SFI and TripleClicks business is that it takes time to build a really good financial income. It is during this “time” the affiliate will gradually be increasing and acquiring the knowledge in business building procedures.

Each time a person preforms a small step towards overcoming a fear – taking that small step is no longer fearful. Taking one step at a time decreases the fear factor that much more.

That is why it is so important not to overwhelm a new affiliate with too much information. A mouth is only so big – you can stuff too much food in it so that chewing and swallowing it are impossible. So don’t feed an affiliate to much at a time; with many small bites a huge amount of food can be digested.

The only way you are going to know if a person is “fearful” of success is if they tell you that. Do not assume that someone is fearful because they don’t commit to the business as strongly as you are doing. There are many reasons that people hold back on further activities and “fear” has nothing to do with it.

The fear you are looking at may be - the person just don’t know what to do next and is afraid to ask for help.
The fear you are looking at may be - a time of great financial difficulty and they don’t want to be telling anyone how rough of a time they are having.
The fear you are looking at may be - nothing more than a language barrier and they can’t explain what the problem is because of incorrect interpretation.

As a team leader we should never try to get “past” the situation. Find a way to work with those who you believe have these fears you may be surprised to find out that with the proper help your fearful affiliate may be one who can take down Goliath.

To explain what my most important goal is right now would be to look away from my main objective and that is to improve my standard of living. I would say that goal is used as the main goal for a lot of affiliates.

The reason I want to improve my standard of living is because at the time I am retired and on Social Security and it don’t even pay enough to lead an active life it is worse than some jobs (Just-Over-Broke).

Of course stating that I want to improve my standard of living is too vague of an answer. I need to break that down to daily - weekly - monthly goals.

When breaking them down, my main goal changes to monthly accomplishments. I fill out the form found by clicking the “goals” tab in my affiliate center. Each month I will update the ten goals and make them harder to accomplish.

If I do not meet a goal two months in a row then I re-adjust the goal. If I accomplish one of the goals within the first half of a month two months in a row then I will double the goal for the next month.

One of the key factors in setting those ten goals is that you be absolutely honest about what you will attempt to reach.

Don’t put down a figure that you wish would happen – whishes don’t make success Don’t set your goals to what “looks” good on paper – that is just a figment of your imagination and imagination doesn’t bring success.

Make sure you list things that you will take action on. Action makes wishes come true. Action turns imagination into reality.

A few times I have used link cloaking to hide my URLs – I was not impressed enough to continue using the software.

When using a link cloaking system all of your URLs will be “re-directs” (that means your reader is taken somewhere else rather than URL stated they were going. Some ad sites and social networks refuse to let people use “cloaking” software.

Part of the reason is that it is seen as though you are trying to hide something. And guess what? You are.

Marketers are told to use cloaking systems because that way hackers cannot steal your affiliate ID and collect your leads and commissions by hacking your URL. Listen if a hacker wanted to steal your URL link they will be able to do that even if it is cloaked!

If you need to change your URL to something that will allow you to use your gateways on social networks then the best way to do that is to use a free URL “shorten-er” I use the Google system and it works great even on Facebook, Twitter, U-Tube and many others.

Go to Google search and type in “free URL shortner” It will take you to a page so you can download the system on your computer with the instructions on how to use it.

One other thing I have noticed about the cloaking systems is that once in a while when I am trying to view a link in someone’s email ad, the new page will open and at the top of the page it will proudly state “Cloaked by So-and- so” The website would not open What you are doing is drawing the attention away from your reader by having ads for “cloaking services” being the only thing showing up.

When using a link shortener the above problem never happens. Although your shortened link will have the signature of the service that shortened it.

You need to take a careful look at the compensation pay plan located here: https://www.sfimg.com/Reference/CompPlan

What you will find is that when someone you sponsored purchases product you will receive a commission of 45% of that purchase. As long as this affiliate stays in your group and you meet your personal qualifications you will receive those commissions for life!

When you receive CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates) and they purchase products you will earn commissions of 15% of their purchases. Again these commissions are paid for life as long as personal qualifications are kept up.

Simple math will tell you that it is better to pursue PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) because of the higher commissions.

But keep in mind that as your team grows and you acquire more CSAs that 15% commissions can grow to a sizable financial jackpot. As things sit at this moment I am receiving more commissions from the CSAs that I have acquired then the commissions I am receiving from my small group of PSAs.

Also keep in mind that your CSAs are all sponsored by someone else therefor you cannot reassign them and you cannot give them re-assignments.

One other small note and that is if anything happens and you cannot meet the required EA status by the end of the month you will lose all of the CSAs that you have. But the PSAs that you have will always be yours no matter what happens.
