Person to person is the best way to contact a prospective ECA. It is even better if it is one you already know, have bought from him, and have a mutually trust in each other. These usually operate near where you live or vacation. Go into his business prepared to show him the advantages of becoming an ECA. Take a brochure and go over it and leave it with him.

Follow up with another visit and leave a business card. Note: do not use the business card as a lure for him to contact you, but as

First do not answer a question unless you really know the answer. You don't want your team seeing you embarrass yourself.

Answer with new insight, not what SFI has written in the training. If 50 people have already given your answer don't hitherto submit it without something extra.

Submit about day 4 or 5. This gives the copiers a chance to already uae up their one entry and lessen your uniqueness.

Give a complete answer. Don't assume a newbie can fill in your blanks.

The best place to post advertising flyers is where you have been given permission and where people will see them.

You don't want to spend time hanging flyers only to see they have been removed by the owner of the establishment. So ask permission to post one. Take along ECA information because you may get a chance to speak about it with the owner. Also take your own tape and thumb tacks.

I have found that it is best to let each person decide for themselves if they want to join

How do you prevent people from preying on your downline and convincing them to join other programs?

The topic of other people preying upon your downline and how to prevent it has several facets.

1) The cross-solicitor uses various come-ons to get others to join outside affiliate businesses. These businesses may look innocent enough, but they will take time, money, and effort away from the SFI business of your downline member, and from your business as his money is siphoned off away from his TC purchases and shares of your co-op, while putting money in the predator's pocket.

SFI is good for students 18 years and older. We are talking about young people who are actively involved in pursuit of a higher education, here. And of students who have reached the age of majority in their own country.

These young people have lots of energy and most claim to know what they want in life. For the time being, anyway. They are experiencing some freedom at the time, most are living apart from parental guidance for the first time and are enjoying that freedom. And, while not

Because you have a tight budget does not mean that you must invest the smallest little bit of money into your business. Being reluctant in investing into your business will cause your business to falter and take much more time to grow into a success. Do you that the time and patience to wait that long? Mny people forget that they made a decision to not invest enough money to make a timely success of their business. And so then when it is taking too long, they don't want to wait, forget that they

First re-read all of the information in the training about advertising and marketing. Read and look at all the marketing aids that SFI has already made available to us. Read and understand, ask questions, know how to assign and use key codes and how to keep track of them. Know this information well but don't use lack of understanding as an excuse to not begin setting your plan down on paper.

Second set your goals for your campaign. How extensive do you want to go? Unpaid, paid, online,

How can I convince new affiliates of the importance of logging in at the Affiliate Center every day?

Tell him that logging into the Affiliate Center every day is very important but it doesn't make you a failure is you have an occasional miss or even a scheduled routine miss as for religious holy days. Also tell him that you can see his progress in logging in and just about predict where he will have difficulties by what he doesn't finish of the dailys. Also, at first many of the daily tabs will not make sense to him until he has done more in his business, but to not miss them in the meantime.

Thousands of SFI affiliates are doing the same thing. How do you stand out from the crowd?

While one of the principles of success in SFI is DUPLICATION, it is, sad to say, those who strive to duplicate preceding successful SFI affiliates and to teach duplication to their own affiliates, who do stand out in the crowd.

I say sad because we are all encouraged to follow in the steps of success while teaching those very same steps to our whole marketing team. Our goal is to develop a whole team that in essence copies what you do as you copy your upline mentor. No one should stand
