While there are many different ways this question can be answered, I am only
going to try hit on a few.
Students 18 yrs or older usually need to have cash in hand now to meet their
needs. In that respect, no, is not really a good idea. They also will not have
moneys to invest to jumpstart this business. But that is not the only answer.
Free is good, but it is going to take much longer to develop. So, for students
who need immediate moneys they are not going to benefit from SFI. The majority
of us in here know we need to allow 2 to 5 yrs to develop our business. And totally
free can be a very challenging way to go about it.
There are many good points for these students to consider for joining, as well.
While it is not going to provide immediate needs, it is still worth them joining.
I have a son who is approaching the age of 18 in just about 5 months. Often,
I see opportunities for character building, positive re-enforcements for correct
attitude, and lessons dealing with patient skills building for his future moneys,
found in SFI
I would say when they are ready, they should work this business while working
other employment for their immediate needs.
The exception to this would be a very determined go-getter who would be able
to promote for ECA's to join. They could generate sales, an PPA as well. A student who
would be able to work like that and keep up with their studies would do a good
job working SFI. I have seen some younger adults also do exceptional by selling
handmade items. The music opportunity we have is great for other students.
They would have knowledge and access to venues some of us older folks don't
have so easily.
The last thing I will touch on is the internet training we have. This is good for
them to learn as well as financial planning and management.
This is a good topic that is great for expanding on many different ways to approach on this.
